Next time Saint Bono or Elton John implores you to help them in fighting to save the planet or make the world a better place for ALL of us remember back to Nice on July 14 2016. For both Sir Elton and Saint Bono were in town although, for reasons you shall see, they are not boasting of how they are among the victims, as you would have expected.

The celebs were dining on the night of terror on the terrace of La Petite Maison restaurant. The celebs were "rescued" by armed counter-terrorism police along with other prominent French figures including the former mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, who was also at the restaurant.

The odd thing is that the restaurant, where 25 grammes of caviar costs 450 Euro, was more than half a mile away from where the terror was unfolding. One might have thought that the roizzers would have been better employed helping the thousands of ordinary folks, the great unwashed, who were fleeing for their lives at the actual scene.

But of course while, in the face of terror, all are equal but some are more equal than others. Thank God St Bono was able to make it back to his Private Jet so he could carry on enlightening us all with his profound thoughts on how to save the planet.
