Dear Chris Akers. Excuses are like arseholes. We all have them. And no-one cares. And that brings us to today's announcement from your company Concha (CHA) regarding its disastrous investment in failed unicorn Ve Interactive.
Despite there being stacks of red flags Concha invested c £4 million in Ve in a £1 billion valuation, a decision which we pointed out at the time was completely bonkers.

Concha (CHA) has finally done a deal. Chris Akers can call me an old fart who does not understand the world of new media and he may well be right but what he has done appears insane.
Concha has paid £4 million for a 0.43% stake in Ve Interactive Ltd a new media "unicorn" This is not new cash for new shares but shares bought from the founders. The price paid per share (£250) is the same as the last funding round so Concha can claim its decision is validated by VCs.

I am sitting here with my father in Shipston. We have just had a long argument about the deaths of Cranmer, Latimer & Ridley. Naturally we both insisted we had the facts right. I am now 1p better off as I was right. My father has gone to the White Bear early in protest. I seem to be struggling to do business with my olives here in Kambos, Greece. I appear to have sold the oil - all bar 16 litres which I am taking back to the UK. But so far I have paid the press 16 Euro for the transaction which now sees it owning 200 litres of MY oil. Surely this is not right? Perhaps InternetQ (INTQ) runs the olive press?
