At last I can speak again for reasons I explain in the podcast. Then it is onto Circle Oil (COP), Coms (COMS), Totally (TLY), Stellar Diamonds (STEL) and Concha (CHA). And that is it for me now to bed with Oakley as I am still in a bit of pain.

Tom Winnifrith BearCast 31 July in honour of disgraced PR man Tim Thompson

In today's podcast I look at Coms in detail and then at Rightster en passant whose PR man is the disgraced dirty tricks specialist Tim Thompson of Range Resources infamy and where there is a detailed piece to come later,  before having a butchers at the ludicrous joke that is LightwaveRF. I refer to my Jiasen piece earlier and have a warning for other China Norfolks. In that vein I also mention the POS Daniel Stewart. Then en passant Mosman Oil & Gas and flip flop's Red Rock share tip.

Footnote: The Interim CFO at Coms has called me back. What a very nice lady. I stand

In today's bearcast I can't help but look back as the Evil Empire's 2014 accounts come to light. Then I move on to a few other favourites Quindell ( vindicated), Coms (vindicated) and Sefton (vindicated). A hat-trick of wins on a day when I deposited cash in a Greek Bank. More on that later.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 26 May - a short edition

Ok rabble, it is the last day in Greece with the Mrs. She flies home to her true love (Oakley, the morbidly obese three legged cat) later and so this is just a short message on a day when the stockmarket is showing signs of true madness. Should we all give up being value investors and buy any old rubbish and go with the flow? No. It will end in tears. Inter alia I refer to Coms, Daniel Stewart, Scotgold, Kea Petroleum and the China bubble.

Coms - Disposal announced but still in the merde

Coms (COMS) has today announced hat it has sold its telecoms business for £2.5 million in cash with a potential earn out of another £1 million. It keeps some the trade debtors but also some liabilities and one assumes they match. Coms is still in the merde.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 19 May - another snake encountered and snakes telling lies on AIM

Yes, this time it was at the Greek Hovel less than 15 yards from the building. And I was just 3 or 4 foot away. Cripes. I really do not like snakes which brings me on to Philip Crawford on Lombard Risk and Nomad Charles Stanley which today signed off on an OUTRIGHT LIE of an RNS penned by Crawford. I have a 14 year old score to settle with the tosser Crawford and so accuse him of lying to investors today. Is that not against AIM rules? Elsewhere I look at Tungsten, Plus 500, Sefton, Coms and Rose Petroleum which are all sells. Events at Rose have moved fast since the bearcast vindicating me (see HERE)

Thank god i am not  at Free Speech & Liberty pizza as every commie in London is marching past to celebrate "workers day". When is the day that celebrates the real stars: capitalists? After passing on news of Oakley's health I cover Daniel Stewart, the China frauds including Sorbic and Jiasen, Ascent Resources, Mosman Oil & Gas (joke), Coms, Mopowered, Horse Hill, Berkeley Minerals, Greville Janner, Begbies Traynor, UK house prices and the POS AIM Casino company that has sent me a lawyer's letter.

The fourth & final short tip from the World's No 1 tech analyst Kevin Ashton - sell FusionEx

At the last minute free speech denying broker Charles Stanley, (Nomad to POS companies such as Tungsten and Coms) forced the world’s top tech analyst Kevin Ashton not to speak at UK Investor. Luckily I have his notes sent to me earlier in the week and so here is why I think FusionEx (FXI) is such a stonking sell at 332.5p. Kevin was said to describe it as “one of the most overvalued stocks in the UK.”

A good day on all fronts - although condolences due to Wildrides regarding his cat - all cat owners know how he feels today. I digress. In this podcast I look again at Horse Hill and my mind wanders back to 2003 and Avington. I look at Coms and ask if Dave Breith is an insider dealer as well as a shite ex-CEO? Then it is on to Tethys Petroleum en passant Software Radio and then the highlight of the day, POS AIM Casino dog with fleas Clear Leisure appointing Big Ray Zimmerman and his bunch of muppets at ZAI Corporate Finance as its new Nomad.

I commend to you Steve Moore's excellent article on Outsourcery, the Piers Linney POS, HERE. I add a few thoughts on this Rum & Coke company. I also comment again on Rosslyn Data witha few new thoughts on slow death/quick death for the share price of Coms and on the woeful position of Sovereign Mines of Africa. There is more bad news, I am sorry to say, for my old friend Jim Mellon and Billing Services and I take a look at Quadrise Fuels.

Coms – blatant market abuse and is the Nomad set to resign?

Coms (COMS) is the gift that keeps on giving. In today’s instalment we have wholesale market abuse and the question of when the Nomad might jump ship. Meanwhile the company needs to clarify its financial position. Is it trading only thanks to the support of banks who could pull the overdraft at any time? Methinks yes.

The market abuse first. Yesterday a blog post appeared HERE which purported to give specific details of a takeover bid at 5.6p per share even naming the party. I have naturally reported this to the FCA for giving out information one knows to be false is called market abuse. It is a criminal offence.

Update: The page has been changed.

Tom Winnifrith's BearCast - dancing on graves at Coms and Dolphin Capital

A regular podcast follows later but please allow me to celebrate two big vindications. Dolphin Capital (DCI) was the first company to send me a lawyers letter in my new role - August 2012. Its entire board has just left. I am still here. I dance on the graves of their corporate careers. Next up Coms (COMS) which has just issued a dire profits warning and worse. I have been warning you about this for months to general abuse from Bulletin Board Morons. Perhaps for all the smears, harassment and abuse they might care to form an orderly line to apologise - yet again. The Sheriff of AIM was right yet again, the morons wrong. When will they learn?

Coms – email from Dave Breith

In the BearCast of Friday I suggested that Coms should have settled £825,000 to Ian Smith’s Castleton on 5 November. Dave Breith of Coms has emailed me to clarify.

I heard your bearcast and the actual deferred consideration that Coms had to pay is / was due on the 21st November. However Coms settled the deferred monies early under a settlement agreement on the 31st October at £825,000 and paid this by same day electronic transfer.

Thanks for that Dave.

I have only just driven across Ireland and arrived at Ballymaloe to record this but there is plenty to discuss in this hard hitting podcast. Oh yes it is very hard hitting indeed. Ouch, its stinging all round.

Coms: Buy, sell or hold at 4.33p

A couple of months ago I got a bit of a flaming from certain Bulletin Board Morons for suggesting that shares in Coms (COMS) were overpriced at 6.1p. It was not like I was saying that I had shagged their wife’s but the reaction was as if I had made that claim.  I said – at the time – I’d buy the shares at c4p. After a profits warning on Friday the shares ae 4.33p. Would I buy?

I will cover this again in my video postcard later today if I can manage to transmit it from the Greek Mountain. Had Coms shares drifted gently down to 4p as a result of market ennui and a general realisation by all bar the most ardent of Bulletin Board Morons that the stock was overvalued I think I would have been tempted. But Coms shares have fallen because of a profits warning proceeded by an embarrassing restatement of accounts. As such the fundamentals have changed and so one must reassess the investment case and also ones entry point.

Some of what came out on Friday I knew was on the way. The hapless FD

Coms – Lunch with Dave Breith

Fair dues to Dave Breith, the CEO of Coms (COMS). I ripped him apart a couple of weeks ago HERE and he popped into Real Man yesterday and insisted on buying me lunch. I had a salmone e penne, he had a Thai chicken pizza. The food was great and I rather warmed to the man who accepted that my comments were fair.

He admitted that the need to restate accounts was a howling error. He does not wish to start a witch hunt but we talked through how it happened and I do not blame HIM. I accept him at his word that actions will be taken which won’t be painless, to ensure that it will not happen again. I am not sure if Dave was bald before the hiccup but it has obviously been a hard time for him. I am happy to leave it at that.

Coms: I do not like being lied to & this company appears unduly incompetent: SELL

I was sitting at Real Man Pizza at noon yesterday awaiting my guest, Dave Breith of Coms (COMS). At 12.30 I tried calling to see where he was. His PA called me to say he was off sick and apologising for his second last minute let down in 3 weeks – I do want to meet the guy. As we now know Breith was not sick. That was a lie born out of apparent monumental incompetence at his firm.

I am still happy to meet Breith but he now had hard questions to answer if the Sheriff of AIM is to be convinced. I told folks not to buy at 6.125p HERE 28 days ago. I said that at 4p I might have a nibble. The shares are now 4.8p but I withdraw that advice – until Breith can counter a number of red flags I would not buy at all. But before we get to the red flags let’s deal with the lie.

Twitter Moron of the Week –Mike Bowen a bull of Quindell, Coms & blinkx

You could not make it up. Some folks cannot but help pick overpriced glamour stocks which crash. Meet Mike Bowen who tweets as @lookatbowen and who first spring to my attention as he tweeted @tomwinnifrith the only person certifiable is you Tom  Oooh er missus. I guess he owns Quindell (QPP) then.

For the avoidance of doubt I am prepared to accept that there is a case to be made that I am certifiable. Warning folks about overvalued stocks does not make you popular. Buying shares in Quindell just to go to the AGM and ask hard questions might be construed as foolhardy. But whatever. I prefer the description “eccentric.” But as it happens on a portfolio of all the stocks the Bulletin Board Morons love (blinkx, Globo, Iofina, Cupid, Gulf Keystone, Coms, Range Resources, Sefton and of course Quindell) I was RIGHT to be bearish.

Now meet “sane” Mike Bowen.

Coms – Corrected piece, Conclusion Unchanged

I published an article on Friday on COMS (COMS) with a factual error. For that I apologise. My conclusion is unchanged but the revised piece follows.
