It rained overnight here and it is raining again this morning and the forecast is that it will rain again all day. After yesterday’s deluge I consider the reporting of the BBC and other Doom Goblin cultists of Greek forest fires and also of weather patterns this year in Greece and claims that this country will become a desert.

Jim Mellon says he loves listrening to my podcasts and has sent over a very interesting article following the pulled We Work IPO which I discuss at length. The into PureCircle (PURE) which Lucian has called brilliantly, notably here. Yesterday’s shock warning tells us so much about the disgraceful apathy of folks like Numis and PWC when evidence of aggressive accounting was there for all to see over many years. I discuss another company shown to be swmming with no trunks. It will not be the last.

Buried in this podcast is a quiz question - in what respect is my son Joshua ( aged 16 months) ahead of more than a third of millennials. The answer is at the end of the podcast. I deal again with a woman who thinks citing folks who send death threats to investigate journalists ( i.e. me) gives her a basis for smearing me. I refer of course to Julie Meyer, a woman branded borderline hysterical by a Judge a few years ago. I discuss the placing by Fishing Republic (FISH) and its accompanying statement. It is talking carp. Is that a deliberate typo? I look at Filtronic (FTC), have news on Milestone (MSG) it does not want you hearing and comment on Scancell (SCLP) in a way that may annoy its long suffering shareholder Nigel Somerville. Finally I have an uber spivvy share trip for you all.
