Having sold UK Investor and the restaurant, I am asked, now and again, how I keep myself busy? Of course, I spend a good bit of time writing here and on ShareProphets. Then there is the walking, as I gird myself for a 33 mile jaunt for Woodlarks in 12 days time. But, with the Greek Hovel now almost transformed into an eco palace, I need a new project…
And that is the restoration of our new home, the Welsh Hovel. So this afternoon I shall continue work on the hal, removing some truly ghastly carpet from the 1970s to reveal tiles dating from several hundred years ago. They need a bit of work cleaning up but, I am sure you agree, it is an upgrade.
