As you can see below this Bulletin Board Moron put all his eggs in one basket, Bidstack (BIDS).I wonder if in days gone by he mocked the dire warnings of a “failed fund manager and pizza maker.” Now he has lost almost all of his savings, those of his daughter and mother.

I don’t believe this is our Darren but another one, Darren042. He owns shares in [email protected] Capital (SYME) and, with a hat tip to TR, I challenge anyone to find a bigger example of stupidity on the LSE, ADVFN or iii asylums or on twitter by midnight on Bank Holiday Monday. Meanwhile marvel at Darren who really is an imbecile.

My suggestion, made to AIM Regulation and HERE, that shares in all covid testing stocks be suspended on Monday seems to have aroused every idiot who has ever bought an AIM listed share into outrage and anger. Brokerman Dan has joined this populist outrage.

Peter Brailey thinks he will be selling his last Synairgen (SNG) shares at £10 based on its “cure” for Covid 19. Peter admits he has no specialist knowledge. It shows. He is thinking like a Bulletin Board Moron. I was paid to write on this sector for five years so know a bit and explain why he is not thinking straight.

Okay, I have been wrong with such calls before. Quindell (QPP) was a total and demonstrable fraud, running on fumes and so just had to be a zero… Then along came those Aussie poltroons from Slater & Gordon, who bought most of its worthless assets, so saving Quindell but train-wrecking their own company. It happens now and again that the corporate world throws up an even bigger fool than your average Bulletin Board Moron on the LSE Asylum. Moreover, these are “challenging” times…

Last week I asked you to supply your idea of the most moronic post on the ADVFN, LSE or iii Asylums or on twitter. There were some good entries as you can see HERE but thanks to Aiminvestor for spotting this gem from the ADVFN asylum, Versarien (VRS) thread, natch, explaining why shorters should be in prison whatever they say but share rampers create wealth and should all be lauded whatever they say. Our BB of the week is “Scrutable”:

A week ago, I asked you for examples of sheer lunacy from the ADVFN, iii and LSE Asylums and there were indeed many fine examples provided as you can see HERE. However, anyone who uses the Nazis to make their point is generally someone who has completely lost the plot and thus there can be only one winner.

I asked you to nominate the moron making the most moronic comments on twitter or the LSE, ADVFN and iii asylums last week and there were many fine entries as you can see HERE. But the winner is clear and was spotted by me so I win the non prize. From the ADVFN Asylum, Versarien thread

Okay, I want to make Juicin happy so let us have another Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest. The deadline is midnight on Sunday 9th February and all you have to do is find another comment from twitter or the ADFVN, iii or LSE Asylums which is more moronic than this one from mavfav on the ADVFN asylum, Versarien (VRS) thread. At 3.4p Eurasia Mining (EUA) is a company shown to have lied to investors, with zero balance sheet support and which is burning cash. That is why, it needs to do a placing. Yet it is still capitalised at £92 million. So, what are the shares worth? I asked you for the craziest examples of Bulletin Board Moron madness last week and while there were some great spots as you can see HERE, Evil Banksta came up with the gem below:
Last night I was flamed on twitter by a host of Eurasia Mining (EUA) investors, a group who made your average Versarien (VRS) investor look like a true multi brained genius. I kid you not. One wanted me to hire him as a journalist as he had posted a few comments on BBs about Eurasia and that, he thought, qualified him. Another said I couldn;t be a proper journalist if I did not interview Eurasia, preferably by flying to the Indaba coke and hooker fest. And so it went on. The fact that Eurasia lies to investors ahead of fund raises & abuses market rules in private chatrooms was dismissed as irrelevant. Anyhow this is a hint as to where to seek out a winning entry in this week’s contest. What is the most moronic post you can find on the ADVFN, iii or LSE Asylums or on twitter? Entries should be posted in the comments section below with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 26th.

It seems as if ADVFN is happy for its own house paedo guy to carry on doing his bit in support of Versarien (VRS) by libelling me in so many ways and encouraging folks to attack my wife. And there was I thinking that Clem Chambers had standards and would no platform such scum…. So while Clem continues to allow this creep and others to operate, what is the most moronic post you can find on the ADVFN, iii or LSE Asylums or on twitter? Entries should be posted in the comments section below with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 19th.

Just for one week, the contest is being brought back at the request of reader Juicin. The rules are slighty changed in honour of Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS). What we are looking for is the most moroniic comment on shares on the LSE, iii or ADVFN Asylums or twitter. But this week you can also add in comments on the private Discord chat room where Ricketts tells lies to investors without his Nomad, hapless Quindell loving Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord, knowing anything about it! The deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday 12 January ( my birthday). Entries in the comments section below.

On my last bearcast before I flee to the Greek Hovel (cue calls from Bulletin Board Morons that I live in a hovel as I am a peasant and that I am evading justice for some crime or another), I discuss today’s chapter of retail-aggedon (Clarkes), the Neil Woodford Rutherford International (RUTH) £32.5 million black hole and why Amigo (AMGO) is almost certainly not on a PE of 3 and almost certainly not cheap.

The value of any asset traded in any volume is determined by the price at which buyers and sellers are prepared to transact. So for some surprisingly large companies where the liquidity ( lack of) or some other reason means there are no institutional investors, or trades, the share price is thus largely determined by private investors, many of them untrained in analysis and some of them full blown Bulletin Board Morons.

Juicin can thank me later, but I am inspired by the most insane post I have seen in ages to bring back this contest for one week only. Surely no-one can beat the post below from the ADVFN Bidstack (BIDS) thread. It seems as if Versarien (VRS) owning morons take particularly badly to exposes on how senior execs may be fraudsters and are certainly liars and respond with abuse for the messengers. And thus in honour of these prize poltroons Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is back. Simply post the most moronic comment found on twitter or the LSE, ADVFN or iii asylums in the comments section below. It does not have to be about Versarien but moronic deadwood press Neil Woodford articles by Ali Hussein or Jeff Presstrip are not eligible. The deadline for entries is midnight Saturday and the winner will receive a mythical photo of Julie Meyer filling in a tax return.

In today’s bearast I take a detailed look at Sub Standard list Bermele (BERM) which is over-ramped, dripping in red flags and been pushed by shamed Bulletin Board Moron Aberdeenman. I also explain why I shall, tomorrow, be asking the Met to investigate whether Julie “lingerie on expenses” Meyer and her lawyer Peter McGrath might
as a result of this be perverting the course of jiustice as I have news on the FCA’s criminal investigation into Meyer which seems to be ratcheting up. I am not accusing either of this serious crime merely asking the Met to see if something awry is taking place.

I warned folks time and time again that the valuation of Sound Energy (SOU) was a monumental joke as the shares were pumped up to a peak of 82p. But the savants of the Bulletin Board Moron community knew better and hurled back abuse. Today the shares are just 11.62p but that is still way too high.

Suffice to say you would not want your average Frontera (FRR) shareholder on your pub quiz team would you? There were numerous fantastic nominations for this contest as you can see HERE but Bwakem and Soupchicken will have to fight it out for the prize, a semi naked photo of Britain’s top share blogger (mornings only) Thirsty Paul Scott as they both spotted the gem below.

The AIM demise of the fraud Frontera (FRR) has unleashed a barrage of Bulletin Board idiocy not seen for years. It seems that the idiot from every village in the land was invested here and the comments on the Asylums at the LSE, ADVFN and iii as well as on twitter restore ones faith in the sheer stupidity of your fellow man. To win a semi naked photo of Britain's top share blogger before lunchtimes, Thirsty Paul Scott, simply post your examples of supreme idiocy ( not necessarily on Frontera) in the comments section below. The deadline is midnight on Saturday 2nd Fenruary. I start off with my nomination. Can anyone beat this gem from tune player on the ADVFN Asylum.

Juicin Drumroll demanded we bring back the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest and last week he again tried to win in a most valiant way with a superb nomination of a UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) moron from the ADVFN asylum as you can see HERE. Five weeks in and the man who demanded we bring this contest back, Juicin Drumroll, is the runner up in this week’s contest but the photo of a semi I naked Thirsty Paul Scott goes instead to Putneywill – but there were numerous cracking entries, mainly posts by shareholders in UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) who – as you can see HERE – really are true morons.

Having demanded we bring back this contest, once again Juicin Drumroll fails to win with his nomination. Come on Juicin, we are doing this for you, please try harder. RT may change its mind but as things stand I am about to head off to BBC Bristol to record an interview on Russian Collusion in the US Elections. I am happy to do my bit for the President (that is Trump not Putin). We all know who the real criminal is in this affair. Meanwhile I discuss On Line (ONL) but even greater madness at Intelligent Energy (IEH) where one Bulletin Board Moron is in full flow and the (worthless) shares are up by 70%. Then it is onto Tern (TERN), Servision (SEV), another few comments on Andalas (ADL), 13 Energy (I3E) and finally a detailed look at the rum and coke statement from worthless Boxhill (BOX). I hope Cynical Bear will give Boxhill an even bigger duffing up overnight.

Following on from today's truly shocking results from Lombard Risk (LRM) covered HERE I have more questions for the company not least on how secure is its overdraft on which it is, I suspect, already reliant and on the quite disgraceful salary compatibility review. Talk about rewards for failure. Then I look at Defenx (DFX), another horror story, before issuing a wake up call to our own in house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes and looking at Angus Energy (ANGS) and finally Dialight (DIA). Meanwhile it is now less than a month to the olive harvest and Greece. I cannot wait.

How the Bulletin Board Morons laughed at me as I warned in the strongest possible terms that 88 Energy (88E) shares were a slam dunk sell and that drilling of the Icewine well was not going well. Please form an orderly queue morons I guess you did know better than a trained oil analyst after all. The shares have slumped by 0.75p to 1.25p but a market cap of £56.9 million is still way too high. There is worse to come.

Just three months ago some of Britain's top fund managers ploughed more than 50 million dollars into a placing organised by AIM dog Telit Communications despite numerous warnings from ourselves and others. But they knew better and anyhow it was other people's money. The shares have collapsed today to less than half the placing price after the most awful set of interims. But the fund managers will still earn Inter City salaries + ( more than 125) and fat bonuses so who cares? Are there any folks in the share world dumber than those fund managers? Er....

Two weeks ago exactly AIM Casino listed crock of shit lifestyle company Andalas Energy (ADL) announced some more hot air and jam tomorrow news sending its shares spiking to a peak of 0.14p to buy as Bulletin Board Morons whipped themselves into a semi-orgasmic frenzy of innumeracy and filled their boots. Today the shares are 0.065-0.07p meaning that the paper loss for those buyers at peak moron is already 50%+. Shares in Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO ) are again tumbling on this fine summer's day. Oh what joy it is to be alive. 350p at peak ramp less than two years ago, they are now just 10.75p to sell. Today's the day that African Potash gets slung from the NEX markets or has the rules bent for them, so in normal circumstances it would sponsor this week's contest. But there is an even better sponsor, step forward Roger Lawson of ShareSoc who will donate some of the Globo shares he owns as a prize. Natch, Lawson sold most of his Globo shares before telling readers to sell, but he still has some left and even offered to help the management take the company forward.

Here I am in Shipston with my father who enjoys bearcasts if they mention him so just for that reason I record again. His faux political correctness is exposed by the issue of coverage of women's cricket in The Guardian - the dreadful newspaper he has delivered to try to fool my family of public sector "working" lefties that he is one of them. In terms of the market I look at Carillion (CLLN) and 88 Energy (88E). Shares in both companies are collapsing today and I look at why and at what lessons folks should be learning. You could so easily have avoided losing money on both. Please note Malcolm Stacey and other Ocado (OCDO) bulls, lesson one on Carillion is for you. I also make it clear that while he may have some of the attributes of a Bulletin Board Moron as he showed HERE, Evil Knievil is not, in fact, a BBM, I was just joshing him when I suggested otherwise. En passant I look at MySquar (MYSQ) and explain why today's exposes HERE and HERE may refer to events a long time ago but are pertinent.

I guess if you write for a website that makes the Official Jimmy Saville Fan Club website seem well read and popular, it forces one to also post on Bulletin Boards in order that your words of wisdom/attempts to ramp your flagging portfolio reach an audience of more than three men and a dog. Speaking of dogs - Watchstone (WTG) is stock which bear raider turned Bulletin Board Moron Evil Knievil has long argued is worth 500p. The shares are now 140p ( and falling) after yesterday's massive revelations from me HERE.

If a share is falling, natch the Bulletin Board Morons who own the stock think that I am playing dirty tricks. FFS how stupid are these imbeciles? The fraud Cloudtag (CTAG) is almost certain to be booted off the AIM casino tonight. I will also miss it such have been the deranged comments that it has prompted. Last week's contest was sposnored by the LSE Asylum and generated stacks of quality entries as you can see HERE. But the winner, spotted by Warun Boofit was in a class of its own as you can see below.

Poster wiids on the LSE Asylum should not be confused with our own in-house loon Wildes. Frankly Wiids makes our in house pet loon look like Warren Buffett. The LSE Loon is a strong contender for BB Moron of the Year with this classic from last week but it is a bit like Ed Sheeran and the top 10 (heck kids I know what is hip & trending!), Wiids is dominating the Bulletin Board Morons chart. You can see a number of postings by this loon in last week's contest but the winner, nominated by a number of you, is:

Not to be confused with our in-house loon Wildes, Wiids posts on the LSE Asylum and is long and strong Cloudtag (CTAG). This post may be an attempt at parody but the insanity of the long & strong Cloudtag loons is beyond satire. Who knows. Anyhow from last week this is potentially an early winner of Bulletin Board Moron of the Year:

It has only just dawned on me that in exactly two weeks time, at 4.30 PM I shall be cracking open the ouzo to celebrate the fact that no Nomad on AIM is so desperate for cash and morally bankrupt that it will act for the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG). And there will thus be an RNS issued to say that it will be slung off the Casino. As that day looms, how will the Bulletin Board Morons spin that as good news? Happy hunting on Cloudtag threads - and others - as we ask you to nominate the most moronic BB posts or tweets in the comments section below. The deadline is midnight Sunday 19th March and, yes, Wildes our pet in-house loon - can nominate his own posts if he wishes.

Glenwick (GWIK) was once the darling of the AIM penny stock ramping crew led by twitter loon Big Gib. Naturally it has had various changes of strategy, spunked hundreds of thousands of quid on directors fees, advisors and deals that failed and this morning it was slung off AIM - as discussed HERE. The only question is did Big Gob et al get out at the top as they urged others to buy? So in honour of Big Gob I ask you to post in the comments section below the most ludicrous comment you can find on twitter or on a Bulletin Board this week. The deadline is midnight on Sunday 12 March.

Good try Waseem. The great Bear raider and professional Northern git nominated himself as the Bulletin Board Moron of the week for expressing sympathy with Cloudtag Morons who had lost money on the fraud. In normal circumstances I would give Waseem the prize. But his was one of 50 entries last week. As you can see HERE many of them were splendid as the Cloudtag (CTAG) loons went into meltdown. The winner arrives late in the day and displays such a string determination to ignore all the known facts, that I almost admire this moron.

The Cloudtag (CTAG) debacle has provided plenty of ammo for the BB Morons as the fraud has unravveled. As you can see HERE there were plenty of quality entries in last week's contest. The ADVFN bulletin boards are so poorly regulated that you can register with any name without any proof that it is yours. And so once again as at 26 February some moron has registered as tomwinnifrith to post as me about Cloudtag (CTAG), natch. Last week's Bulletin Board Moron contest also allowed entries of mindless Donald Trump bashing. Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater did his very best to win via that route but sadly even at his deluded best he could not compete with the savants of the LSE Asylum. A lot has happened since the late sixties when Neil Armstrong took his one small step on the moon. The word lunatic is derived from the Latin word "luna" meaning moon since it was believed, in the middle ages, that a full moon could induce insanity. This time it is Nyota Minerals (NYO) although the real issue here is when is Nyota bust. I think it might be already. I look at Avanti and ask who is smarter: Tom Dobell of M&G, a Bulletin Board Moron or an institutional investor in bonds. I look at Koovs (KOOV), Essentra (ESNT) and Audiooboom (BOOM).

As I noted earlier, Friday really could be Worthington's (WRN) last stand. No doubt its supporters on the LSE will have all sorts of excuses and will be blaming the usual suspects (me, Brexit, Evil) for their losses. This is too much of an opportunity to miss for we voyeurs of the moron community. But posts from other threads can also be submitted in the comments section below with a deadline of Sunday 24th July. I reckon Cloudtag (CTAG) and Highlands Natural (HNR) on the LSE and ADVFN asylums will prove happy hunting grounds.

The sort of folk who not only believe every word that the war criminals Blair and Straw say about Iraq but are also lobbying the BBC to have Chris Evans appointed as the new presenter of Top Gear, are heavily concentrated on the shareholder list at Cloudtag (CTAG), an AIM listed company that is almost insolvent and whose valuation is a joke. Its shareholders are possibly the stupidest folks I have encountered on twitter with the possible exception of the England soccer team.

Maybe all the morons are on half term? Or maybe they have all become sane but there were just a handful of entries for last week's contest as you can see HERE. And none of them beat the original posted by Cynical Bear which was:

Cynical Bear has discovered a gem of madness on the LSE Asylum. It seems that if anyone posts a bearish piece on this website it does not matter who the author is named as, the piece was actually written by me, Indeed I am a busy chap because such loons are also convinced that I spend my entire day posting bearish comments on various bulletin boards under various nom de plumes. Hmmmmm why get paid to write when you can post crap for free...why didn't I think of that before?

The Dave Whitby fan club (life presidents Ben flip flop" Turney, Justin the Clown, Doc Holiday and Zak "Judas" Mir) are delighted to be sponsoring this week's Bulletin Board Moron contest in honour of events at Andalas Energy (ADL) which are generating some cracking comments on the LSE Asylum and elsewhere as well as on twitter. Of course you can nominate a post on any subject or company and African Potash (AFPO) clearly has a shareholder list made up of complete imbeciles. The deadline is midnight Sunday May 1st. Or as they say in Greece: Easter Day.

Darren Winters sent me a lawyers letter in the Autumn for calling him a charlatan and snake oil salesman and threatening me with legal action if I did not withdraw what is a statement of fact. I shall see the Winters bitchez in court and he is a moron for thinking I'd say anything else. Anyhow Winters got another courtroom beating from team Sheriff today so maybe he has learned who not to try to bully. Back to real morons and this week's Bulletin Board Moron of the Week contest where there was only one winner...

I shall leave Solo Oil (SOLO) to a distinct piece on this day of vindication but suffice to say the numbers do not add up. While Lenigas groupies wait for that remember to enter the Jabba yacht caption contest where we already have some cracking entries (HERE). Then I look at corporate governance and how the City needs to be seen to be whiter than white, ref Paternoster Resources (PRS). Then it is onto: Kodal (KOD), 88 Energy (88E), Miton Group (MGR), Belgravium (BVM), Environmental Recycling (FRAUD) and Ascent Resources (AST). And finally remember to pre-order the latest free e-book from myself especially if you are a Bulletin Board Moron and want help - you can do so HERE

Last week I asked if anyone could find a bigger bulletin board moron than Ascent Resources (AST) shareholder Carl Meiring. Poor Mr Meiring seems to have had rather a bad week but at least he gets another 15 minutes of fame. With Ascent shares now at 1.75p to sell Carl's tweet of last Monday is unbeatable although as you can see HERE there were many other strong entries.

It is the birthday of the Mrs tomorrow and so tonight we entertain 20 of her mad lefty friends and no prizes for guessing who is doing all the cooking. It is her birthday but to have to cook then be nice to her mad friends as well is surely a cruel and unusual punishment for me. In this podcast I discuss a raft of tax issues including the Corbett question. Then it is a preview of "how not to be a bulletin board moron"
2031 days ago
Shares in Ascent Resources (AST) plunged 15% today to 5.9p and at just after five O'Clock Cadogan Petroleum (CAD) announced that it had pulled out of takeover talks. Surely no insider dealing taking place there. The smell you can detect now is of burning fingers in the Bulletin Board Moron community.
2034 days ago
Ascent (AST) admitted to a bid approach on Thursday and we own the shares (pro tem). I really do not wish to discourage morons from ramping this to high heaven but feel obliged to point out that those who could make us better off are, in fact, morons (HERE). Do you understand what I am saying? All I suggest is that Ascent boards will be happy hunting grounds if you wish to nominate for this Bulletin Board Moron contest. For instance, with the shares at 1.05p having doubled on Thursday, can you beat this tweet?
2036 days ago
Call this one of the unwritten Tom Winnifrith golden rules but a company that boasts of grant wins from the State is in general a sell. This may be a tad unfair but the fact is that Government's are invariably the worst investors - they make your average Bulletin Board Moron look like Warren Buffett when it comes to spunking cash on losers.
2041 days ago
Let's widen the scope of the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest this time to include the most ludicrous claims made by those in Project Fear, the campaign against Brexit. Yesterday Lord Browne of BP infamy claimed that leaving the EU meant that we might see another Auschwitz (see HERE) - can you trump that for scaremongering? Or do you just want to settle for nominating a common or garden Bulletin Board Moron who did not stiff shareholders with a bill for his rentboy? Whatever..please post all entries in the comments section below. Last week's contest...

Before we turn to Lynda Duval who is a twitter diehard follower of David Lenigas par excellence, blowing him off by tweet on a daily basis, we go to last week's contest and an excellent winner. There were many fine entries as you can see HERE but the winner was a standout, a FastJet moron.
2062 days ago
The demise of Motive TV (MTV) & the Slater & Gordon (SGH) car crash were obvious triggers for some of the stupidest folks on this planet to talk shite on Bulletin Boards last week. On some threads (LSE Asylum Worthington WRN being a case in point) no trigger is needed for idiocy. There were numerous splendid entrants for last week's BBM of the week as you can see HERE but there could only be one winner.
2069 days ago
It is hard to believe but despite his threats of violence and the way he confuses flower arranging with boxing, criminal twerp Chris Oil was not last week's Bulletin Board or twitter moron of the week. A couple of his deluded rants were among the fine nominations for moron of the week - and you can see the full list of entries here - but the winner was spotted by Drunken Sailor on the ADVFN asylum. Can you do better this week?
2083 days ago
As ever the standard of entries to the Bulletin Board Moron & twitter moron of the week contest was exceptionally high last week. But there was a clear standout winner which may well be a slam dunk for the Bulletin Board Moron of the Year 2016 title as well. Can anyone beat this?
2090 days ago
There could only be one winner of last week's Bulletin Board Moron of the week. I am not sure if it is the follower of Jabba The Hutt who compares the fat Aussie share ramper to Gandhi or Jabba himself for thinking it is so profound that he retweeted it. Anyhow thanks to Britta for this gem of a tweet:

For the 7th time - the first perhaps for our many new readers - I feel the need to explain what free speech really means. I do this for Chris Oil & other Bulletin Board Morons who seem determined to post comments here stating that I take bribes on a weekly basis and am a crook. And also for the chap who wants to post with great frequency the claim that I am a "sausage jockey." I do not regard that as a smear since I see nothing shameful whatsover about being gay. It just happens that I am not. But it says a lot about our critics that they seem to include a good number of jew haters, homophobes and other assorted bigots.

The Mrs listened to me recording Bearcast today and said that I seemed very happy. Maybe it is the thought of the next Afriag (AFRI) article I am working on or perhaps it was the second painkiller of the day kicking in? Or maybe a truly moronic Bulletin Board Moron posting? In this upbeat mood I discuss who should feature in this year's three part Christmas Carol? Fat Aussie share ramper David Lenigas or market abuser Chris Oil? Or should I run two series? Then a discussion on when Fitbug (FITB) goes bust. After that - in a bad language section - I discuss Arian Silver (AQG) and its fucktard PR man Dominic Baretto. I move onto Plethora (PLE), Aveva (AVV), Concha (CHA), 88 Energy (88E) and Caza Oil & Gas (CAZ) before rattling off the names of a few other small oilers that really are zeros.
On reflection: Warning bad language throughout

It seems that the repeated claims by Jabba The Hutt about my drug use (none for 25 years as it happens) are influencing one of his peasant followers into a flurry of racist slurs and wild accusations. Over the weekend one of our most read pages was a very old article about bogus Tripadvisor reviews of a restaurant called Real Man Pizza Company. There is no Bulletin Board Moron of the week thread but I felt compelled to pass on this gem speculating about what the market abuser Chris Oil and his manservant Dan Levi were up to at Sefton. The mind boggles. Over to some loon on twitter who speculates:
2349 days ago
On the very day that market abuser Chris Oil started selling 96 million shares in Sefton Resources (SER) he tweeted out that the stock was a buy to those who follow him. There were other ramps to follow as Oil cleared his position which were so blatant that the FCA is now investigating him. To be so blatant with your market abuse surely makes you a Bulletin Board Moron but perhaps you have spotted someone tweeting or posting something even more stupid. we suggest that boards for New World, Sefton and Worthington will once again throw up some examples.

Flip flop himself posted a couple of entries and almost won but I would have been accused of fixing the contest so we can’t have that. As such the winner is Bondholder with a posting, needless to say, from the LSE Asylum

Until the General Election is finally over, we are allowing both idiot comments by MPs or political figures as well as by Bulletin Board Morons to be entered in this contest. And as such we have a tie for the most moronic posting of the week.

Over the weekend Big Dave Lenigas of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and numerous other companies took to twitter with a series of evening tweets threatening to sue some Bulletin Board Moron from the Grim Northern welfare safaris who had questioned Horse Hill. Has Big Dave actually launched proceedings? We know not. But next up is Andrew Bell of Red Rock Resources (RRR) who Lenigas accuses of “being a liar”

By popular demand it is back but for the next two weeks we add a General Election twist. As ever the rules are simple. Filthylucre and Bananabob cannot post their own comments on this website as entries as they are just too good. But any other comment on a Bulletin Board or twitter is eligible. But we also allow you to post any comment made by a politician during the Election campaign which is self-evidently ludicrous and unjustifiable. The most ludicrous or idiotic statement wins. We knew Vince Cable would come in handy one day. Although that mad Aussie who leads the Greens gives crazy old Vince a good run for his money.
For this week any comment from today until midnight next Saturday is eligible. Please note that articles written by Sith Lord Zak Mir are not eligible for inclusion as whilst all charting is nonsense, Zak should not be singled out for opprobium and he keeps a small portion of society entertained with his burblings. Tweets by Jim Mellon are also barred as we know he cannot be serious.
2371 days ago
Maybe I did not make the General Election element of this contest clear. Merely pointing out policies that do not stack or the general duplicity of Call Me Dave or insanity of Vince Cable/The Greens does not win – we need a specific quote that is self-evidently insane. Please do better this week HERE. And thus the winner of last week’s contest is…
A Bulletin Board Moron, in the absence of any real political entries. Well done to Grindertrader for spotting this gem from the LSE Asylum

Given the sheer insanity of the LSE Asylum Quindell (QPP) thread last week and forthcoming Worthington (WRN) events and the denial among Afren (AFR) shareholders the competition is back but is limited to just these three stocks. Afren is a basket case the other two are fraudulent basket cases. Update: The Deputy Sheriff of AIM insists that postings on Tern (TERN) are deranged enough to be included.

Anyone can set up a twitter account in minutes. And once on twitter you can shout out to the world what you want. Of course if you call a Police Horse gay, tweet a burning poppy or insult David Cameron the Old Bill might feel your collar if you happen to live in Airstrip One. But if your sole purpose is to insult non-celebs (i.e. Tom Winnifrith, rather than Tom Daley) you can tweet pretty much what you please.
And so it should be. I support free speech to the hilt. Some of the interventions by the Old Bill are disgraceful, a matter I have highlighted here before.
But free speech does not mean that I have to read what folks tweet.

I sense that a good number of shareholders in Quindell (QPP) also have stock in Afren (AFR) and Worthington (WRN). If the last of those three is ever unsuspended it is lining up to replace Quenron in my affections when Rob Terry’s creation goes bust. It truly is a POS built on sand. As such if you are hunting for a week 11 winner of Bulletin Board Moron of the week I suggest a good look at the Worthington threads might be in order. In terms of a week ten winner, the full list of rantings from the insane is here but the winners are:

Prabhat Sakya writes for Motley Fool and thinks that Quindell (QPP) is a good yield play on a PE of 1.2 and thus has sold his Barclays shares to buy more Quenron – words fail me. Just to show that morons do not obnly post on the LSE.co.uk I bring you Prabhat’s latest pearls of wisdom as a treat. It is a hoot. Do you think you kind find anyone thicker than Prabhat posting sheer lunacy on a Bulleton Board? If so please post those gems in the comments section below – deadline midnight 1st February.

Sadly Mr Rhys Griffiths of law firm Field Fisher who believes in time travel has not been posting. Rhys old boy please do us a favour and stop acting as a bully boy lawyer for Bulletin Board Morons at the LSE.co.uk and become one yourself – you are so entertaining. In the absence of any more gems from Rhys, we must look elsewhere for a winner.
2471 days ago
Mr Rhys Griffiths of law firm Field Fisher would have to be a prime contender for this award. He reckons that I have invented a time machine and also made up a quote for me to support his mad thesis. Sadly he did not post his ramblings on a Bulletin Board but sent them in a joke lawyer’s letter to me on behalf of the asylum known as LSE.co.uk so he is ineligible. But in honour of the buffoons who paid him £500 an hour to produce such piffle the competition is back.

In today's podcast I refer to the excellent Black Swan 2015 review by Richard Poulden which you should all read. Quenron (QPP) shares are now down to 32p. 0p or suspension or both looms and is coming soon. Even the dumbest fuck in the universe must understand that. But no, Tom Dobell at M&G and the posters on the LSE Asylum just reckon it is corporate governance or in the case of the latter it is all down to me. Today’s moron DMajor explains Quenron’s share price collapse by posting six sentences containing three howling spelling mistakes or grammatical errors and NINE lies about me.
The post was sent over by a keen reader. I am not asking the LSE to take it down – let the morons expose themselves.

As ever the standard of entries was very high. As I sit here in a very much open Real Man Pizza Company I reflect on the poster who has it on “good authority" that RMPC has gone bust, unlike Quenron (QPP) where he is still “long and strong.” To read all 36 nominated examples of sheer idiocy click HERE. But there has to be a winner:

All my work since I first used the word Red Flag in April 2013 has been vindicated. My scoops of this weekend on Quindell (QPP) have been shown as true - today's statement is a total disaster for Quenron. Are these folks certifiably insane or is this parody? You really just do not know these days but this post has it all: a blinding faith in Rob Terry, total lack of historic knowledge, ludicrous bid story, technical analysis, total innumeracy and the Harriet Green to be CEO story. Could this be the most brainless Bulletin Board Moron yet or is just an attempt at humour. Given how many loons here are out there I suspect the former and Jerry2Toes is the Bulletin Board Moron of the day. From the ADVFN Asylum I bring you:

We are giving Bulletin Board Moron of the Week a rest for now but it will be back. And so thanks to readers Jane & Bobby Chariot we have a new contest for you all – “The 12 Days of Quissmas” – all you need to do is provide lyrics for a contemporary version. All entries must starts with “On the first day of Quissmas, Rob Terry gave to me, a stonking short on QPP”.

RMPC is a private company and so feels no need to report bogus profits to ramp its shares like er…Quindell (QPP). It will make no difference to the fate of Quindell (insolvency) whether RMPC survives or fails. But since some utter moron (Goldust88 from the LSE Asylum) has posted highlights of our August 31st 2013 accounts raising six red flags about me, which other cretins have plastered on other asylums, I might as well respond.

I flag this up as an example of the truly deranged minds who are backers of Quenron. David posts on ShareProphets:
Well you are clearly a Quindell fan and have a very unhappy life. Jealousy is not a good thing and you are clearly a very jealous man. Robert Terry has set up and runs is a highly successful business employing thousands! You run a pizza business, which has a poor rating and you are that confident of you statements, jibes, innuendo and facts that you own nothing in your own name. This suggest you are far from confident. You make snide comments inviting them to sue you, but you know that there is no point as you have NOTHING. You are a nothing and a loser who despite his privileged upbringing and education, you have amounted to NOTHING! ZIP ZERO!
YOUR PARENTS MUST BE SO PROUND OF YOU.
Take a long hard look in the mirror at what you have become, and realise that unless you change you will shorten your life as all the anger and hatred is no good and just consumes you.

Once again we were inundated with entries for the Quindell Bulletin Board Moron/twitter moron of the week contest. I was almost tempted to give a retrospective prize to this comment from March from a Mr R Terry of Hants “The only question is whether Quindell goes in the FTSE 100 or the FTSE 250, a main market listing is just a tick box exercise.” Rob that was a stormer but this week’s entries were even better – you can see all of the madness HERE And so to the winner.

Oh dear, The Quenron (QPP) shareholder list does contain more than its fair share of complete and utter nutters. On an almost daily basis I am alerted to a post which has been made by someone who really is truly bonkers. I was entertained to see some cretin on ADVFN discuss the “TW Red Flags” on Quenron – apparently having a strong opinion which is not buy is deemed a Red Flag. However, The Bulletin Board Moron of the Day is “Mr Palmer” on the LSE Board. On a day when another Quindell nutter who boasted on twitter of having a "hitlist" which included myself and Dan Levi has been reported to the Old Bill (not by me as I regard the Met as useless), Mr Palmer takes centre stage.

One of the joys of being a Bulletin Board Moron is that you and your pals can attack me – rather than asking Rob Terry about the TMC Southern Panama Pump - in two 100% contradictory ways. Yesterday saw a classic, but it kind of reminded me that running a business is not 100% about the bottom line.
The usual Bulletin Board Moron contradictory attack is to say “TW is just a failed fund manager, crap tipster, deranged and unhinged and bitter man so no =one pays any attention to what he says.” There then follows a long discussion (ignoring the actual facts about my tipping record and accusing me of tipping stocks I have never written about) and then moving onto my latest article how it has hit the share price and how I need to be reported to the FCA. So while everyone ignores me because I am crap, I am responsible for the share price tanking. Er….. For someone who believes that 2+2 can = 5 I guess that those statements are not contradictory.
Yesterday’s two pronged attack started with a post here from some cretin

I have noted before how active QPPSAG member, the Jew hating DaveyCaferacer posts some utter crap about Quenron (QPP). It now seems he threatens to “pay me a visit.” From the asylum that is the LSE Bulletin board he writes:
If any Hedge Fund bases any of their investment decisions, even part of their decision on what the Blogger says on anything an amateur blogger who runs a sub-standard "Celitic" Pizza restaurant, they have serious issues,
Am back in the UK on Saturday after 2 years in the U.S. and have an agenda to have a meeting with The Blogger, who has not only illegally published my personal details on his website, but also contributed to the market abuse that the FCA have done nothing about. I'll be paying the Celtic Pizza Chef a visit next week if anyone would care to join me.

Toumaz (TMZ) has all the markings of the sort of stock that should be in the Bulletin Board Moron nightmare portfolio as explained HERE earlier and, indeed, it seems to have a diehard band of BB Moron enthusiasts. Results today are dismal and the cash is running out. Yet at just under 6p the valuation is £95 million. Crackers.
To be fair the company’s product, sticking plasters which wirelessly monitor patients vital signs, for use in hospitals, looks interesting but when a company says in its statement “The Group is assessing a number of concepts and opportunities in the "Internet of Things"” I really see that as a red flag in the jargon hype department. And then to the numbers.
Today Toumaz reported on the six months to June 30 2014. So here are the last three half year periods sequentially.

Last week Quindell (QPP) owning Bulletin Board Moron James Beckwith told folks on twitter that he’d like to put a knife to my throat – see HERE. This week he has a new game, joining all those other Quindell owning morons who delight in posting bogus reviews of Real Man Pizza Company on Tripadvisor.

As I wait for a new video to be sent back to London I check out the abuse I am getting from Quindell (QPP) shareholders on twitter and on this website. I am struck by just how stupid some of our fellow human beings are. You really wouldn’t want many Quindell shareholders on your pub quiz team would you?
First up is James Beckwith who besides glorifying in the bogus crap reviews posted online about my restaurant (hmmm if trade goes down which it is not, I sack a waitress – what does that achieve chaps?) seems to believe that the precipitous collapse in Quindell’s share price is down to me?
I am flattered that this idiot thinks that I am at the heart of a global conspiracy and have so much power. These folks alternate between “bigging me up” and in the next breath saying I am a failed tipster, human being etc. and that no-one listens to me. Well make your mind up folks. Mr Beckwith tweets:

Some Bulletin Board Moron last week accused this website of being produced by a bunch of teenagers. I wish! Anyhow the latest person to sign up is certainly not a teenager and his views will, I suspect, be rather hard to dismiss. Meet Robert Corden in his own words.

So posted some utter moron in the comments section of this website at the weekend. In fact we get a post a week in that vein. I guess Bulletin Board Morons just do not get it so let me explain once again.
There have now been 36 writers who have contributed to this website. They do so for a variety of reasons but one central reason is that – unlike some other websites – there is no house view. Folks writing here are not told what stocks to write about. That is their choice. And they are not told when to write. Once again that is their choice.
And critically they are not told what to say, once again they can conclude that a stock is a buy, a sell or a hold. We would never change their conclusions we change only grammar and reserve the right to remove copy that is patently libellous. But it is a core principle of this website that the author is entitled to his or her opinion whatever Ben or myself might think of it.
Thus Gary Newman was entitled to say buy blinkx

Some Bulletin Board Morons seem to think that this website obsesses and has a vendetta against Quindell (QPP). Well just to reassure the Rob Terry worshipping freaks out there, here are some stats.
During the past year this website has written articles on 645 different companies one of which is Quindell.
Of the 3,671 articles just 83 have featured Quindell – that is 2.2%. On an average day on the ADVFN Bulletin Boards between 7 and 8% of all posts are about Quindell.

For those plaguing me on twitter I hope this explains free speech with reference to the comments board on this website very clearly. You guys can go post links to competing products, spout bigoted abuse and make defamatory comments as you wish. But I am under no obligation to publish them for you. You have plenty of other forums to rant on about the blacks or the Jews, accuse me of being a crook, attack my restaurant, or promote other publications. But I have no obligation to publish such lies and filth.

The global conspiracy theorists are at it again. Clearly Quindell (QPP) shares are falling only because of the concerted and organised attack involving myself, Gotham City, EvilKnievil and no doubt Mossad and numerous others. Nothing whatsoever to do with the numerous red flag, the industrial deafness numbers that don’t stack up, the UKLA rejection, etc., etc. The Bulletin Board Moron of the week, IfonlyIknew on the LSE Quindell thread serves up a classic.

The twitter and bulletin board morons are demanding that I admit that I am a joker and admit that my accusation of lying against Astar Minerals (ASTA) was wrong. For the avoidance of doubt: “In its RNS of May 27th Astar Minerals lied.” If Astar disagrees it is free to issue libel proceedings and The Sheriff of AIM will see you in court bitchez. Astar lied and its directors are thus liars. But this gets better (unless you are a shareholder)

You could not make it up. Some folks cannot but help pick overpriced glamour stocks which crash. Meet Mike Bowen who tweets as @lookatbowen and who first spring to my attention as he tweeted @tomwinnifrith the only person certifiable is you Tom – Oooh er missus. I guess he owns Quindell (QPP) then.
For the avoidance of doubt I am prepared to accept that there is a case to be made that I am certifiable. Warning folks about overvalued stocks does not make you popular. Buying shares in Quindell just to go to the AGM and ask hard questions might be construed as foolhardy. But whatever. I prefer the description “eccentric.” But as it happens on a portfolio of all the stocks the Bulletin Board Morons love (blinkx, Globo, Iofina, Cupid, Gulf Keystone, Coms, Range Resources, Sefton and of course Quindell) I was RIGHT to be bearish.
Now meet “sane” Mike Bowen.

As it happens I was just having a long chat with my good pals at the UKLA (part of the FCA) today. What fine fellows they are. So they have turned down Quindell’s application to move up from the AIM Cesspit to the main market. Rob Terry tries to spin it as a minor issue but this is a disaster. Across the UK Bulletin Board Morons are feeling the pain as the shares have plunged to 12p. Guys you should have listened to The Sheriff of AIM with my many red flag warnings (another one today HERE) rather than slating me. You can all buy me a drink after the AGM next week to say sorry.
The statement is a gem. Quindell states:
Considering the significant growth of the Group in recent years the Company has today been advised that it has not been able to satisfy Listing Rule 6.1.3 at this time, and particularly, the criteria in Listing Rules Guidance Note 6.1.3E (5) which states that an applicant may not be eligible if its business has undergone a significant change in its scale or operations during the period of the historical financial information, being the last three years' audited accounts.”

It is not just on the Bulletin Boards that financial morons lurk, twitter abounds with them. As such my Moron of the week comes from the twittosphere and is, needless to say, a shareholder in Quindell (QPP).
A close runner up for the award was @Lon_Don who tweeted to the 201 folks who follow him for a nonstop diet of tweets about one subject only, er Quindell…
@TomWinnifrith is a Troll. #QPP #Quiindell
Hmmmm. How incisive. A Troll apparently is someone who causes emotional upset by online harassment. I do not follow Mr. Lon_Don and have never contacted him. He on the other hand chooses to follow me on twitter and to read my words. He does not have to but he makes an explicit choice to do so and then complains that what I write upsets him. Whatever…
Mr. Lon_Don is a multi-brained frigging genius when compared to @IanHislam a man who looks like one of those 1930s leaders from the Hitler Youth and whose 35 followers are treated to a nonstop diet of tweets about er... Quindell. He describes himself as “A thinker. A gambler. A long time dead.” Whatever. He is certainly a gambler. As for the state of his brain, he may well be correct.

I am drawn to a certain Bulletin Board thread for AIM listed Totally (TLY) where after one recent announcement one poster published 52 separate negative pieces. What sort of moron spends his days like that? A Bulletin Board Moron of course. Now there is a comment on Shareprophets after our most recent piece HERE. Let me address it.
The anonymous poster (Riverway) who may or may not be a moron states:

The Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is a ShareProphets reader nsf297 who has taken grave exception to my shock Nighthawk revelations of yesterday. Nsf297 has to blame someone else for life’s misfortunes. He writes on Shareprophets comments section:
Your half-baked, negatively slanted and sensational article undoubtedly led to the moments of panic which, because of the speed at which things happened and a series of unfortunate circumstances, meant that you yesterday cost me tens of thousands of pounds, and if and when Hawk is at 30 or 40p, you may have cost me half a million pounds. You are a shameless self-publicist with no care for the results of your actions. I hope you are very proud and I wish you as much misfortune and misery that life could possibly bring you.
Where do you start?

Probably I am not as clever as your average Bulletin Board Moron but here is another case of why I just do not understand maths Quindell (QPP) style. I have asked the company to explain the following which is based 100% on documents from the Quindell website…It has had four days to comment but has not done so.
My studies are of Quindell Legal Services (QLS) which in 2013 was the vast bulk of the business. I now urge my dear readers to visit the 2013 full year results presentation document on the Quindell website at http://www.quindell.com/images/uploads/irdownloads2014/20140331_investor_roadshow.pdf - go to page 22.

Shefers has posted a comment on an article on this website which wins him the coveted title of Bulletin Board Moron of the week. He is also clearly the sort of Jew hater who would have regarded The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as ideal bed-time reading for his kids.
Darren Atwater is Tom W’s best man and a director of both ShareProphets but also Everywhen, his own publishing company. We start with Shefer’s classic and we follow that with Darren’s reply. You can see both in original in the comments section below The Sack Tom Winnifrith article HERE

I carried on tapping away and the man stormed off. He looked

One wonders how seriously I should take an email received last night from a Mr Tony Hartnett of Ireland ([email protected]) - one could read it as a death threat. Just in case I am found underneath a No. 8 bus this week, I reprint it in full so that the Old Bill can know where to start looking.
Good evening, Shorty

ADVFN boss Clem Chambers asks if I can avoid being rude to his customers. Sorry Clem but some of your Bulletin Board customers are total and utter morons and this week’s candidate, posting as Simone Cockswiller is also a rank bigot.
Being a moron and being a bull of Gulf Keystone might in fact be synonymous but it appears that my scepticism of the past few days (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE) has riled this fellow. So not content – as are others – simply posting anonymously that I am a “cunt” etc., etc. this fellow has started his own Gulf thread: Simon and Tom's Gay Sauna For Distressed Turd Burglars.
At the top this fellow explains:

5 Star rated (by me) share blogging supremo Paul Scott posted a comment at the foot of my most recent humble offering on Globo (GBO) which is frankly far better than the piece itself. In it he explains why he has added to his short in Globo. I think this merits a wider audience and so republish the comment as an article.
Even a few months ago if Paul or I commented on Globo adversely the Bulletin Board Morons (Globoista Brigade) would have poured on the abuse. But I sense that while die-hards who will remain loyal to the cause to the bitter end remain, their ranks are thinning. And after last week they are thinning fast. This argument is almost won and I would also regard this as a slam dunk short. Enough of me.over to the maestro. Paul writes:

As ever the competition to be awarded the title of Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is a really bitter one. There are just so many possible winners. But over on the ADVFN Phorm (PHRM) Board Pengipete is emerging as a star BB Moron of the age. It is quite possible that for this entry he might just win the coveted “BB Moron of the Year award” at the end of season.
Pengipete posted at 44 minutes past midnight today (well past the bed-time of most sane human beings):
Just read another of winnfriths blogs and the scumbag is publishing libellous shit about BTCustomer and me - all to feather his own nest and make his bullshit seem more interesting.

As I note often most folks on Bulletin Boards are good decent beings. A few are total monsters or morons or both. But there is the odd total genius. Step forward Marab on the ADVFN Strategic Minerals (SML) thread.

Last December 17th I penned an article on Range Resources (RRL) then at 4.86p rating the stock a sell with a 1.5p target price. That piece produced a great response from a Bulletin Board Moron – a certain “Savvyunlikeyou.”

I see that on the ADVFN Bulletin Board one poster has spotted that I was planning to milk a goat and comments “I hope that a member of the paparazzi catches him engaged in this degrading act.” I really do not know where to start.
Firstly, I doubt the paparazzi has any interest in me at all. Secondly I ensured that the whole thing was captured on film anyway – I will load it up later - and thirdly why is it in any way degrading?
At one level, you should try everything once except incest and folk dancing. Heck, how narrow minded is this creature that he would not wish to seek out a challenge? But more importantly as we do our jobs in the Great Western cities, shuffling paper around to no great end, I sit back and contemplate the life of Stavros and Stavroula, the seventy year old parents of my partner’s brother in law.

Some fellow called California Joe has berated me on the ADVFN Sefton Bulletin Board for having other posters support what I say. After labelling me “scum”, he goes on to comment on yesterday’s article which I thought was rather good and which you can read here:
And that childish report above? Well, that shows the level of pathetic people carrying out this attack. If I was the Judge presiding, I would wonder at the total lack of professionalism of the defendents!(sic) Perhaps I could also get a few words on the blog too lol!
Joe your wish is my command. I would be delighted to make your day. You want a few words about you?
“California Joe is an illiterate dickhead who cannot spell defendants”
Always happy to oblige…

Loverat (ADVFN Sefton thread) posts:
Well, that pretty much backs up what I have been saying for a while. The shorters and derampers (masquerading as tipsters) are organising another attack on an AIM company. I have to say, I reckon the confirmation that Cawkwell is shorting not only confirms he is joined at the hip with Winnifrith, but it has just strengthened the company's complaints to the FSA/FCA.
Jeepers. If I was in cahoots with the old fool Cawkwell he would have gone short BEFORE I wrote God knows how many pieces on Sefton not AFTER. Cawkwell is short now because he has finally woken up to the fact that after the latest RNS lie 24 hours ahead of a placing by Sefton it is toast.
The company’s complaints to the FSA/FCA about me have about as much merit as those made by Minmet or 3DM and we all know what happened there…
Loverat – just how thick are you? Sefton issued a statement about its output which was a blatant lie on March 5th. It then issued shares in a placing the next day! You think that the FSA/FSC are looking at what I have written about this and not at Sefton? Jeepers again.

Once upon a time Bulletin Board were meant to be places where folks swapped thoughts and rumours on shares. And so naturally, having written a piece on Sefton Resource s today I am drawn to the Sefton thread on ADVFN. The following post from Appalachian sums up the standard of debate there perfectly.

Winnifrith bum boy lol
Er that is it. Laugh out loud indeed. Technical merit (quality of analysis) 0 points. Technical merit (accuracy) 0 points, Artistic impression (of a BB moron) 10 points.
As it is almost April I have to award Appalachian the title of BB Moron of the Month as well as of the week. Well done.

I see that myself and Brokerman Dan have now been labelled “The gruesome twosome” by Bulletin Board Morons on Sefton Resources threads. I wonder am I really gruesome? I am certainly not a twosome.
I am not a twosome in that Sefton has launched separate libel proceedings against myself and Dan. He is my friend but he has made certain claims which he is defending and I have made others which I am defending. Lucky Sefton shareholders get to pick up the tab for two totally different cases.
Am I gruesome? Well possibly in many respects I am. The word is derived from a Middle English word meaning “to make one shudder” and is defined as “Causing horror and repugnance; frightful and shocking.”
Physically I am not everyone’s cup of tea but on balance I reckon that is a bit harsh. And so I guess this is a reference to what I am writing on this company. Is what I say shocking? To those who have stick their head in the sand for a decade losing 99.97% of their investment while management has trousered millions I suppose some of my revelations about the history of Sefton’s assets, misleading RNS statements on production, executive pay and the location of Jim Ellerton’s luxury Hawaii mansion must be shocking. It must cause horror for Sefton believers to discover the truth and for its management to be exposed. Being a Sefton shareholder must be frightful per se.
Repugnance? I think that is a tad strong. But I suppose The Sefton Board won’t be sending me any chocolate eggs this Easter so maybe they feel repugnance. But if I was a Sefton shareholder (and I am not and never have been) my repugnance would not be with a journalist who has been writing about this company for eight months exposing its skeletons but for the management that has spent ten years creating those skeletons.

Pete Finch is a Bulletin Board Moron who does not like me. He has posted a couple of comments on an article I did the other day. Sometimes he logs on as [email protected] and sometimes as [email protected] but he is a consistent fellow. His latest post is:
More shit tips of Tom Winnifrith, will be avoiding all these like the plague. Tom, clearly your incessant frequenting of Gay bathhouses has impacted your mental health
One could criticise the poor grammar, the fact that my tipping record is on a career basis excellent, the other – rather more obvious – factual error relating to where I spend my leisure hours or perhaps I should just stick to Pete, Jamie or whatever he is called tomorrow’s latent homophobia.
As it happens I have never been to a gay bathhouse in my life although I did once wander into a gay bar after West Ham’s FA Cup final defeat at the hands of Liverpool as it was the only place to get a pint ( of beer). But homosexuality does not equate to having mental health issues.
Pete, Jamie, whatever: you are a sad man. Do your friends, family and colleagues know that you spend the working day posting such material?
