Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Elon Musk businessman of the year or just a mega crook on a roll?

After all Time Magazine made Hitler man of the year 1938 and – I think – made Great Thunberg, the Doom Goblin, Person of the year as well. As folks in Europe and America freeze to death in coming years they will look back on both awards in an unkind way. So what of The Times making Elon its businessman of the year? As Ouzo man starts shorting Tesla (TSLA) again is this a Hitler moment? I also look at Asiamet (ARS), at whether UK retail had a better Christmas than expected and at Quantum Blockchain (QBT), surely a pre-placing pump is underway.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Ouzo on Cornflakes day - only kidding

This is Nigel Somerville’s phrase. I should stress that the two don’t mix but it will be used by Supply@ME Capital (SYME) owning morons as evidence that I am a drunk. Hmmmmmmmm on about 2 units a week, methinks not.  I discuss the Supply fraud and what the company’s, honourable and truthful, PR man is telling the morons. And what they should take from it. I look at the silver spike and advise you what Lucian has done in response. I look at reasons for ouzo on cornflakes: Bidstack (BIDS), Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) and Iconic (ICON). I look at a personal winner AEX Gold (AEXG ) which is very cheap and at new bad events at my baddest tip of the year Asiamet (ARS) for which I apologise.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 5 April: Roger Lawson are you still talking cock on blinkx? Apologise

Firstly happy birthday to my father - I have a present see HERE. Then a message on landing times for UK Investor tickets. If you have not booked yet do so now. Then I am going to annoy Paul Scott by bashing Roger Lawson. Those who followed Lawson's advice as he endorsed blinkx (BLNX) without declaring his holding are 90% down. Yet he is yet to apologise to them or to those he attacked as we pointed out why his analysis was all cock. So let's look at the dire trading statement today. Then it is onto Asiamet (ARS), Strat Aero (AERO), Iofina (IOF), Fitbug (FITB), Vast Resources (VAST) and finally a detailed look at Rare Earth Minerals (REM) and some interesting points raised by Andrew Monk.
