Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: for Colin, Matthew and both their dogs - enjoy!

I start with two bits of civic duty today. I end with an appeal to those of you ( 90%+) listening who are yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, we are now at over £19,000. Help us get past twenty please by giving HERE. Then I have a warning of “incoming” for loathsome Neill Ricketts at Versarien (VRS), discuss Trevor Brown and then at length Bidstack (BIDS) and its clear rule breaking. Then Verditek (VDTK) – looking more and more a zero – Watchstone (WTG) – Quindell as was and the jail cell waiting for Rob Terry, today;s update on that.

Photo Article from a 27 mile training walk for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks

On Saturday 29th May I will be one of the Rogue Bloggers setting off at 6 AM from Winchester Cathedral to walk the 34 miles to Woodlarks. It is a great charity and it urgently needs your help so please do sponsor it today HERE.  So on Sunday I did my longest training walk yet, from my front door here in wales, along our fields, across the bridge and then on the English bank to the centre of Chester and back again. The proof that I made it to Chester is a shot of the amazing houses on the other side of the Dee a bit before my half way point.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: even by the standards of Roland "Fatty" Cornish this is an utter disgrace

There are a lot of disgraceful things happening today and so this is a long bearcast and Matthew and his Dog will enjoy it. In it I cover: the fraud [email protected] capital (SYME), the Zoetic (ZOE) fraud, the utter shocker at Live Company (LVCG), where Fatty  covers himself in shame, Sarah Willingham’s Nightcap (NGHT), a gotcha! for me but more smoke and mirrors and valuation anomalies from Ms W and finally Braveheart Investment Management (BRH). In the excitement I forgot to mention uber dog Bidstack (BIDS) which is now down to its last seven weeks cash and where a bailout placing must be imminent. If you enjoyed today’s show, how about backing the Rogue Bloggers HERE?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Why today's [email protected] Capital expose is so explosive & damaging for the FCA

As ever, I urge the 95% of bearcast listeners yet to donate to give today to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks.  Now I must warn you that Matthew and his dog may not approve of this podcast, nor will the FCA as  in light of today’s expose  I discuss its role in enabling the [email protected] Capital (SYME) fraud. I discuss the failings of the standard list and also why the end of lockdown will see more businesses go bust and I explain why the fine details of  revenue recognition are not – as folks like Zak Mir seem to think – accounting porn for Geeks but really do matter.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast – the crazy world of trying to buy a bungalow for the Mother-in-law, a bubble within a bubble

I start with house hunting with my mother-in-law in what is a bubble within a bubble. It has to end in tears. Then I look at Nightcap (NCAP) and the disgrace of its IPO on the AIM sewer becomes even more disgraceful after today’s expose HERE.  Tomorrow a modest 15 mile Woodlarks training walk is planned. we are at more than 33% of the Rogue Bloggers target but 94% of you are yet to donate. Go on, please give generously today HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: is John Story of Zoetic infamy facing a margin call and cash crisis?

I won’t bother asking poor John but maybe someone with a bit more cash can chip in £313 and get the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks over £15,000 - HERE In today’s podcast I discuss TrakM8 (TRAK)  – as non transparent as ever -  the scandal at All Active Asset Capital (AAA), I exposed HERE, and finally the fraud Zoetic (ZOE), the extent of leverage in its shares and the rumours swirling around concerning its big shareholder, the liar John Story.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: 3 stockmarket disgraces and Bob Monkhouse and the funniest joke ever

Talking of disgraces, 96% of listeners have yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, please do so today HERE. I have a message from Nick Richards for the 4% who have been generous. The stockmarket disgraces I cover are the fraud Zoetic (ZOE), Anemoi (AMOI) and Abingdon Heath (ABDX) – where there really must be a Steward’s on its Christmas IPO, which I panned at the time. I also look at Scotgold (SGZ) and discuss why Andrew Monk called SUPP/WPCT so badly wrong.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The NFT monster bubble and the tears already starting at NFT Investments

96% of you are yet to get your credit card out. I really do have a Dan Levi in his underpants picture and am not kidding about publishing so please do donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks now HERE. Then it is onto NFT Investments and NFT’s and the scandal I covered HERE.  I look at previous bubbles and try to put it into context. All those involved: the promoters Jonathan Bixby & Michael Edwards, scumbag broker Novum and Aquis should hang their heads in shame. They won’t. They are preparing to do it all over again and soon.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: So this is how I am making cash from the green shite Malcolm yaks on about

Tomorrow sees a 23 mile training walk. It is nothing to do with the fact that the mother-in-law has just arrived but a recognition that Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks and that 34 miles is now just 5 weeks away. Think of the pain tomorrow and please donate HERE – we are now at just under £14,000 please to give what you can afford.  In the podcast I look at the green madness of Malcolm Stacey, Boris Johnson and creepy Joe Biden and why I do not believe in any of it how I shall make money from it.  Then I discuss the scam, I exposed today, of claiming that a dual OTC listing will push share prices higher: it will not!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: More regulatory fails by the wretched, woke bedwetters at the FCA this St George's Day

I comment on St George’s Day HERE. In a long podcast I look at Versarien (VRS), Audioboom (BOOM) – misleading again – Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV), Bitcoin and Argo Blockchain (ARB), Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) and the fraud [email protected] Capital (SYME). And we are now just three hundred quid shy of £14,000 for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, please donate HERE.

Photo Article: Woodlarks Training walk number 6 - it was actually 22.5 miles as I laugh at a masked copper

As ever, my training walks for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks start the same way. I am aware that the actual walk is now just five weeks away and it will be a gruelling 34 miles with a 6 AM kick off at Winchester Cathedral. But I must finish the walk and ensure my fellow rogue bloggers finish too. Woodlarks urgently needs us to raise £50,000 to ensure its survival and so please do donate HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Putting Steve O'Hara straight on Institutional investors

My video with Optibiotix (OPTI_) boss Steve is with Darren and the show should go live tomorrow. But I pick up on one point and that is the behaviour of IIs vs PIs.  Then with that also in mind I look at Savannah Resources (SAV), comment on Big Sofa (BST) and then on the fun and games at Versarien (VRS) which could well bring my 0p target a lot sooner than I had thought.  We have now raised more than £15,000 ( with gift aid) as the rogue bloggers for Woodlarks. Thank you to Jocelyn and Vin for two big donations today, can you please also be generous and donate HERE

Photo Article: Training walk No 4 for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks - 20 miles

It was 13 days ago that I did this walk – just over 20 miles. Last week my woke snowflake daughter Olaf joined me so I did just 11 miles not wishing to be accused of breaching her human rights with an act of patriarchal oppression.  The route is the same as ever: along our fields by the Dee in Wales, the Bridge over to England and then walking the English side of the Dee towards Chester and back. This walk saw me end up walking past some of the smaller houses belonging to the Duke of Westminster on his extensive lands by the Dee. It does make you think a bit about the nature of inherited wealth.

The Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks have now raised almost £13,000 – can you help at all? Please say YES!

For the second year on the trot, the Woodlarks camp for the disabled cannot run low cost unique holiday camps for folks who would otherwise, almost certainly not get a holiday. This unfashionable charity is another victim of lockdown and so now needs £48,000 to ensure it survives iunto 2022 when we hope it can re-open. So for the 4th year the Rogue Bloggers will be walking and begging!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: It is Neill with 2 Ls that makes the massive error and who will be sweating like a pig overnight

I start with Neil (one L) Woodford after today’s exposes from Nigel on this website. Then it is onto Neill ( 2Ls) the loathsome Ricketts who will be sweating like a pig ahead of 8.30 AM tomorrow for reasons I explain HERE and who has blundered big time with a fascist lawyer’s letter. Today’s Woodlarks training walk was just 11 miles – a stroll – but I had to listen to daughter Olaf with her woke views for the whole of it so show sympathy and donate HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Why UK Oil & Gas really makes one despair of capitalism

Peter Brailey’s article of earlier makes one think about AIM and capitalism. I explian why, at ever level, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and is pig of a boss Lyin’ Steve Sanderson make me, as a capitalist, despair. I offer a few words on Phil the Greek and a few on Woodlarks. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Atalaya vs Kefi

I start with a few comments on paedophiles as yet another one is brought to my attention from Warwick School. Then it is on to the tawdry world of insanity that is Valereum (VLRM), a true nest of ramping snakes. I then cover Sosandar (SOS), Atalaya (ATYM) and Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI). Finally, Boohoo.com (BOO) has made a very generous donation to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks and we are almost 1/4 of the way to target. Please make a small donation tonight to get us to that 25% mark, we are just £600 short, HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: what would you ask Steve O'Hara?

The 98% of you yet to donate to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks will not have seen the offer made by Optibiotix (OPTI) boss Steve O’Hara. You can both see his offer and make a donation as you think of the misery that looms for Andrew Bell on 29 May HERE. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: What is the point of Neil Davidson?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Optibiotics vs Skinbiotherapeutics

I start with a few words on the late Phil the Greek and reference an article I wrote exactly one month ago HERE on the liberal US celeb Joy Behar calling out Phil and his family as Nazis.  I reflect on the weather here in Wales and how tomorrow’s 20 mile training walk for Woodlarks will be very unpleasant indeed. So please do support me with a donation HERE. Then I discuss the saintly Vin Murria and share sales at Summerway (SWC) and for the first and last time in history I am a bit uneasy about all of this. Then the debate on whether to back the Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) or the Optibiotix (OPTI) charger?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the hard numbers which show why the [email protected] Capital Singapore deal is a 100% total rum 'n' coke

Off to Shipston in a minute but before then I cover en passant: Kefi (Kefi), Serabi Gold (SRB) and 88 Energy (88E). I also beg you again to help Woodlarks – we are now just 7 Rogue Bloggers thanks to an injury and are just shy of £4,000 pledged - help get us over the £4,000 mark today HERE. The bulk of bearcast looks at the fraud [email protected] Capital (SYME) and the hard numbers which show what a joke its Singapore deal is. Anyone holding these shares is truly insane. My target remains 0p.

Photo from the latest Woodlarks training walk of ShareProphets Reader Robert Lewis.

We are now up to eight rogue bloggers for Woodlarks with J, the son of reader Jonathan Price joining the party. That means one more person for the “having to talk to Dan Levi rota” so spreading the misery of hearing about the evils of Brexit and why disgraced Guardian fantasist Carole Cadwalladr is a genius, more widely. That is all good news. But think of how we will suffer on the day, even if it is now for less than 2 hours each and make a donation HERE. Meanwhile we continue with our training walks. As I look at the snow falling here in Wales I am glad I did my weekly walk yesterday. But here is a photo from Robert in Cornwall as he made it up to 15 miles.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: seeing through a purple fecking mist

I refer to the painting of a window at the Welsh Hovel which occurred as I was out doing a 16 mile Woodlarks training walk. I am utterly livid so please give a few quid to Woodlarks HERE, as you consider both my anger and my sore feet. In this podcast I look at professional media tarts like Peter Hargreaves bleating on about retail punters being mugged on the Deliveroo (ROO) float. Then at signs of the bubble of everything this time in relation to residential housing.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the problem Denise Coates poses for me as a libertarian

I do not begrudge her earning £489 million last year but is there a social cost in how she makes her cash? I then look at the stages of the changes in the sentiment cycle with three promotes/frauds: Versarien (VRS), Zoetic (ZOE) and [email protected] Capital (SYME). Tomorrow as you stuff your faces with Easter Eggs I plan to walk 15 miles as a Woodlarks trainer, consider my soon to be very sore feet and make a donation HERE.

Photo Article - the melted Chocolate Easter Egg from Amazon, rotten customer service

Joshua’s dinosaur Easter Egg arrived c/o Amazon the Wednesday before Easter and within 48 hours of order. But the one for the Mrs arrived late in the afternoon of Easter Sunday. I opened the box when I returned home from Woodlarks training walk number 3, 16 miles of pain, and I was already in a foul mood thanks to the purple window when I discovered an egg that had more than half melted, as you can see below.  It was too late to find a replacement but the Mrs was surprisingly understanding as I had prepared three amazing suppers for what was also her Birthday weekend and some spectacular brunches. So notwithstanding one stand up row with a mad lefty pal of hers who was staying for the weekend, I was in the good books of the boss and she empathised on the egg. But it got worse from there as far as Amazon is concerned.

Photo Article: Woodlarks Training walk Number 3 - 16 miles

The good news is that we should be up to 12 rogue bloggers for Woodlarks by the end of the weekend. The bad news is that Lucian Miers has walked the course and it is indeed 34 miles, not the usual 33, and the last 1.5 miles are all uphill, just when one is ready to collapse. And thus I must train ever harder as this walk is the most important I have ever done and I must finish.

I have just finished my third training walk for Woodlarks, which was 16 miles. This is the photo record of walk two, 13 miles along the same route. I start walking along our fields by the Dee here in Wales. This is the view up across the second, smaller, field up to the Church whose doors I am no longer darkening. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: 2 shockers from the housing market and that truly shocking Julie Meyer expose

The telephone call harassment started at 6.43 AM today and woke up three of us. I hope the North Wales police will act. The DOS attacks continue and last night also saw a stream of abusive hate-filled emails from temporary and thus untraceable accounts. What fun. Tomorrow is my second Woodlarks training walk so think of me in the Welsh rain as I target 12 miles or a shade more and please make a donation HERE. Then I discuss 2 acid tests today for the FCA[email protected] Capital (SYME) and Lyin’ Chris Cleverly’s planned RTO into Stranger Holdings (STHP). Then it is onto IQE (IQE) and why Malcolm Stacey and thirsty Paul Scott are wrong. Finally a look at Jubilee Metals (JLP). The view on Comrade Robert's Woodlarks training walk yesterday

Robert is one of seven rogue bloggers for Woodlarks this year. Yesterday he managed 12 miles in the glorious sun as he stepped up his training ahead of our 34 mile stroll in late May. My first training walk to help save Woodlarks

Because of the lockdown rules and because so many of its campers have immune deficiency issues, Woodlarks cannot open this year and so it has no income. So if the Rogue Bloggers do not do another walk and do not raise £48,000, Woodlarks may not reopen at all next year so please do donate now HERE. Christian Aid & the Samaritans can feck right off, they will not get a cent of my cash

I wrote in my weekly Tomograph Newsletter HERE this morning that, by this June, I hoped that over the space of four years, myself and my fellow rogue bloggers would have raised more than £200,000 for the amazing, if unfashionable, Woodlarks charity. That would cover about two years of its bare minimum running costs and absolutely every cent I have raised will go for the purpose it is intended for, enriching the lives of severely disabled young people. The smaller Peppa Pig wellies contain the feet of four-year-old Joshua. 85% of way to target after 40 hours: Tom Winnifrith’s Woodlarks Christmas Appeal – if you can be generous please be generous

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Boohoo.com vs UK Oil & Gas

A final few words on yesterday and a final thank you. If you have not donated to Woodlarks yet it is not too late and i am just £536.34 away from shutting up about it so perhaps a small donation HERE. Then I look at Peter Brailey’s excellent piece earlier and press comment on Boohoo.com (BOO) and at the pay consultants who, in my view, should all be shot and issues of executive remunerration and greed. I also comment in this vein on Union Jack Oil (UJO).

The Morning Dew, the last-minute rain, my amazing neighbours & a snake – final report on the Woodlarks walk

With gift aid we are now just a few hundred quid shy of raising the £48,000 needed to ensure that amazing Woodlarks can survive the Covid lockdown and continue its work next year. So if you have donated I thank you and if not please do so HERE. It would be great to end the weekend with the job done. The Mrs and Darren combined to put up a few photos of yesterday’s 33.3 mile walk so here is the full story.

Photo article: It's all over – Tom has crossed the finish line. He did his part, now please would you help?

That’s 33.3 miles in a pandemic. He started at 4.40 AM and finished at 7.10 PM. At the start of lap 44 the heavens opened and for the final lap – as the rain eased – Joshua and Tom’s wfe joined the walk, if only for at a celebratory prosecco. We’re at 98% of the £48,000 needed to save Woodlarks if you include Gift Aid. Your final contributions will make the difference – we need just £750 more. Please be generous here.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: we are all so lucky

I start with a few reflections on the widening gap between the real economy and the stockmarket. Then I ask you to consider how lucky you are as I discuss Woodlarks and what it does and why it matters. As you listen I am walking 33.3 miles to save Woodlarks. If you have donated I thank you. If not we are so close to getting the £48,000 needed to save the camp. Please, please donate HERE.

Walking 33.3 miles to save Woodlarks - Second photos of Tom's trek around the fields

After a picnic lunch with the family: the 30th lap, only 15 to go…this is from the far edge of the second river field, a marshy area where the shocking wildlife diversity will be revealed tomorrow.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: #IstandwithPawPatrol

I start with a few thoughts on history as I chat at length to my old teacher. Then it is onto the campaign to scrub Joshua’s hero, Chase, from history. Finally I discuss what I shall be doing in, I fear, the rain from 4.30 AM tomorrow. If you have yet to donate to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks please do so as we are now wiothin spitting distance of raising enough to ensure it survives. Please give just a tenner with gift aid ( or more) HERE Then I look at US Covid 19 data at Avacta (AVCT) where there is a dual threat to the share price and at Novacyt (NCYT) where implosion is accelerating. Finally a detailed look at IQE (IQE).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the Great news is that NoGold has not died of Coronavirus

I start with a few thoughts on a local statue that looks set to be melted down but commend my piece earlier on Thomas Guy in the same vein. I bring you the good news that No Gold is alive then discuss Intu (INTU), Frontera Resources (FRR), Avacta (AVCT), the merger of Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) and Columbus Energy (CERP) and Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG). Finally we are now almost at £40,000 on Woodlarks (with gift aid). If every bearcast listener yet top donate chipped in £10 plus gift aid tonight we would hit target. Please, please do so HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the bosses at Photo-Me are complete bastards running a business you would not recreate

Okay, with three days to go to my 33.3 mile walk in the Welsh rain we need just £9,000 more to ensure Woodlarks survives. Thanks to all who have donated. If you have not done so please do so now HERE.  In the show today I discuss Restaurant Group (RTN), Quiz (QUIZ), the disaster now facing property investors, Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and Photo-Me (PHTM) where the bosses are total bastards. How dare the greedy so and sos treat poor old Malcolm Stacey like this?.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Do not think that Telit crooks Yosi Fait and Oozi Cats are off the hook at the FCA

Another 12km training walk with my daughter looms and the little snowflake is bound to bleat as the skies darken. I will not enjoy the rain much either. So, as I suffer, please donate that tenner (or more) you know you want to give to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE. I look in detail at Sosandar (SOS), Mercantile Ports (MPL), Avacta (AVCT), Novacyt (NCYT) and Open Orphan (ORPH) setting new price targets for all three and then discuss the crooks at Telit (TCM) as the FCA concludes its corporate enquiry.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: who will win the US election this year and why it matters

You may not like my joy at Donald Trump beating crooked Hillary Clinton in 2016 but I called the vote correctly and explained in detail how and why I thought The Donald would win. It matters big time for equity investors who wins the General Election in November but also who triumphs in House and Senate races. I offer up my first detailed thoughts. Then I look at Amigo (AMGO), Intu (INTU), Novacyt (NCYT), Avacta (AVCT) and Open Orphan (ORPH). Finally, we are now at an amazing 65% of our keep Woodlarks alive rogue bloggers appeal target. With my big walk now just 5 days away thank you to those listeners who have donated. To those who have not please do so HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Strawberry fields forever coming later but first some sheer insanity

I promise you pictures of my 99 now planted strawberry plants later and I also have good news from the orchard. Yesterday my daughter and I managed just 17 laps of the fields ( 20km) here at the Welsh Hovel for reasons I explain but I shall do 45 laps in six days time to raise the £48,000 Woodlarks needs to survive. We are now at 64% of target, please, please make a donation HERE. then I look at the insanity gripping equities. I am now turning less bullish and explian why, looking at Hertz, Intu (INTU), Avacta (AVCT0 and a number of other situations. I refer to my premium video with Matt Earl here.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Happy Birthday Big Nose & Aunt Lucy

It is also the D day anniversary and as some folk gather in London to “fight fascism” by attacking the Police. I spare a moment to remember those who really did fight fascism. I will soon starting on a 25-30 lap walk around the Welsh Hovel. that is 25-30 * 1,185 metres. my last big training walk for Woodlarks. It is raining and the wind is up so think of my suffering and for the vast bulk of Bearcast listeners yet to donate please give a tenner or more to help Woodlarks survive HERE. Ed Croft’s Stockopedia lists the top ten AIM stocks to buy including Fevertree, Boohoo and Pan African. I discuss a few issues with such models.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: A tale of two fund-raisings

I start with two pieces of good news. 96 more strawberry plants are on the way but I have now planted 81 in the patch I have created. The target is to get the last of batch 1 planted tonight. I promise a photo over the weekend of that and other horticultural endeavours. Secondly we have now raised 61% of the £48,000 we need to ensure the survival of Woodlarks. Tomorrow my daughter and I do 25-30 1,185 metre laps of the fields here. Think of the pain and please donate NOW HERE. I then discuss the odd but good US jobs data and whether it will replicate here, Revolution Bars (RBG) and Bidstack (BIDS).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: daring to consider the chances of being killed by lightning in America

I start with a few thoughts on the protests and riots following the murder of an African American man by a cop. I offer up some hard data which makes me ask whether the riots can be justified. I stress that, as someone who goes to sleep with a person of colour every night and with a mixed race son, I do think that black lives matter, including those six black lives now taken by US rioters . I comment on Woodlarks where we are now at 55% of target so please please make a donation today HERE. Then I look at Avacta (AVCT), Novacyt (NCYT), Intu (INTU), President Energy (PPC) and Curzon Energy (CZN).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: sticking it hard on two counts to a company I own

Mahmud celebrates the pain I am suffering and is so happy that he has helped us to get to 49% of the £48,000 we NEED to ensure Woodlarks SURVIVES. I only ask each of you for a tenner but how about every bearcast listener donates that TODAY so we hit target. Please give HERE. Then I look at my friend Jonathan Price’s article about why I am wrong on property plays. Euro loon Jonathan is a great chap though utterly misguided on almost every issue as only an elitist London millionaire can be and I clarify matters. Then onto Curzon Energy (CZN): I am a long and wrong shareholder and explain why I think the shares are too high and why a statement is needed ASAP. A few words follow on SSP Group (SSPG) and today’s dividend placing madness.

Today’s training walk is with my daughter and is almost 12 miles. In burning heat and with my MAGA cap on which us luck. Please donate to Woodlarks here. In today’s show I warn you that you MUST sell all the corona testing plays NOW. Then I look at Intu (INTU) – a great selling opportunity – and then at one of my worst share tips & investments for which I apologise to all, Wishbone Gold (WSBN).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: correction on Skinbiotherapeutics share sale, an SP Angel insider dealing scandal? And is Opti's Steve O'Hara a liar like Bidstack's Draper?

I start with my training walk of yesterday for rogue bloggers for Woodlarks i managed 12.5 laps before the sun got to me. In two weeks I must do 50. My next big walk is Tuesday - we are at 36% of target so please do donate HERE. Next up in hargreaves Lansdown (HL.), why not screw your customers as they seem to like it? Then onto share sales in Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) by Optibiotix (OPTI) and what appears to be a scandal involving broker SP Angel. I shall be going to the FCA tomorrow to ask for an enquiry. Finally is Steve O’Hara a liar like Lyin’ James Draper of Bidstack (BIDS). Drunken Sailor who is suffering a GroupThink induced lockdown dementia thinks so and also that I am a ramper and should tell folks to sell. I discuss Drunken’s concerns in light of a chat with O’Hara and an email from him which I read out.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: let's hear it for a despised & reviled minority who are the true Coronavirus heroes

I refer, of course, to smokers. Before Malcolm gets on his high horse, hear me out. What I say is logical if a bit crazy. In that vein I also discuss the mad idea of buying the ten worst stocks on AIM and ask for your nominations. I start with Catenae Innovation (CTEA), Tern (TERN), Clear Leisure (CLP) and Attis Oil & Gas (AOGL). I also discuss the crazy idea of buying FinnCap (FCAP) shares. I look at the Powerhouse Energy (PHE) ramp and at the curious case of Anexo (ANX) placing today as directors dump shares. The Woodlarks walk appeal is now at 34% please, as I start another training walk this afternoon, donate HERE.

Heck even daughter Olaf has dipped into her vodka funds to donate. In the podcast I look at IWG (IWG), Pathfinder Minerals (PFP), Cineworld (CINE), Bidstack (BIDS), Fox Marble (FOX) and, sorry Jim, Condor Gold (CNR). I also look at the “wisdom” of appointing a Chief Diversity Officer.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I have sold all my Open Orphan shares now and explain why

First of all i hope you listen to the first of my now weekly long premium video podcasts which went out late last night HERE. It was a lot of work recording as I explain in this bearcast. It also gives background on my thinking on Covid-19 and that brings me to Novacyt (NCYT) which has company specific issues which will blow it up as I explain in yesterday’s show and Open Orphan (ORPH) which is very well run and a great company but where I have sold my last shares. I explain why. I also look at Asiamet (ARS), Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV), 4D Pharma (DDDD) and Big Dish (DISH). Finally if you have yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks , the great day looms and we are now at 31% so please donate HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - the rise and fall of Pizza Express

Yesterday’s training walk was just five miles but I had Joshua on my back for 2/7 of the circuits around the Welsh Hovel. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Darren Atwater & some bird from Brooklyn (who probably also has a beard) spout lefty post Covid shite

I start with one of Darren’s long reads which offers a post Covid plan for the restaurant sector. The author obviously has not got a clue about what being an entrepreneur means and about how business works. But this sort of nonsense is mainstream. In a similar vein I discuss board room greed and stupidity at Lloyds (LLOY) before moving onto how you deal with serial failures & pigs, reference the main troughers at Iconic (ICON). I start with a row with my neighbout who thinks my Woodlarks training threatens her social distancing and will see her dog kidnapped. I despair. I shall be walking past her house 7 times this afternoon. As you consider that treat please donate to rogue bloggers now as we reach 29% of target. Please give HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: So it will be 50 laps of the fields as I struggle with the share dealing timeline at AJ Bell

Myself and some friends from here, the last village in Wales, walked the track around the 3 farthest fields at the Welsh Hovel and it is 1.1 kilometres long. That means that on June 13 I shall walk the circuit 50 times exactly raising the money Woodlarks needs just to survive into 2021. Today I did three laps as I faced a busy day. Tomorrow it will be ten. Please donate a few quid today HERE. In the podcast I consider in long detail the timeline of major share dealings at AJ Bell (AJB) which just does not look right to me. There are a stack of questions going begging. Then it is onto Eurasa (EUA) and what will happen on Friday. Will SP Angel again show that it will act for anyone or will AIM Regulation wade in to ensure Eurasa is booted off the AIM Casino? I discuss that matter in detail.

Because of the wholly unnecessary Coronavirus lockdown there is no mass Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks walk as planned on June 13. Instead I shall walk alone for 33.3 miles around the three biggest fields here at the Welsh Hovel.  And having done little training I am not in great shape – I am going to struggle. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Andrew Monk defends the indefensible & can ShareSoc save the fraud Akazoo from a troublemaker?

I start with Monkey defending the whore blogger Malcolm Graham Wood. With reference to today’s disastrous news from Hurricane Energy (HUR) and the fraud Frontera (FRR) I discuss why he is so wrong to do so. Then I look at Open Orphan (ORPH) and today’s fund raise and what to make of it all. Finally, after a few jokes about an IRA man at the garden centre, I move onto the final demise of InternetQ/Akazoo. I donated £1000 yesterday and young Steve Moore also made a generous gift so we are now at 24% of the £48,000 we need to ensure Woodlarks survives. Please donate HERE. In the podcast I look at Whitbread (WTB), Catenae (CTEA) and at where we are in the gold shares buying cycle, referring to three I own and am very excited: Bluebird Merchant (BMV), Kefi (KEFI ) – no sniggering at the back please – and Xtract (XTR). Again no sniggering.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: This is a crazy world

I discuss rocketing unemployment – and we ain’t seen nothing yet, shares making higher ground and folks paying to lend money to the Government. It is all insane yet, on balance, I remain a bull of shares. Then I look at how nothing has changed with regard to executive greed citing three examples I have covered elsewhere today. There is a fourth which makes what I outline today seem like a nothing issue. It is linked to shameless stock promotion and I will expose it all at the weekend in a new premium, i.e. we charge 99p, podcast to replace Shareprophets Radio. Media models based on advertising and sponsorship are, in my view, dead. I think 99p for a 2 hour video & audiocast is a fair price but what do I know? Finally, we are now at 20% of our target at Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks. Help us get to 23% by tomorrow, please donate HERE

I start by thanking both Jim Mellon and Nigel Wray who have eached pledged £1000 to Rogue bloggers for Woodlarks, ahead of June 13 when I shall be walking around my fields here in Wales. Woodlarks needs £48,000 to survive the year. We have now raised 17% of that, please can you make a donation, however small, today to get us closer to target. Please give HERE. I then launch into a heartfelt defence of Roger Lawson of Sharesoc over what appears to be an undeclared related party deal at the organisation that campaigns for improved corporate governance and transparency. Then I look at Imperial Brands (IMB) and First Derivatives (FDP), one a stonking long the other a stonking short.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Maybe this time the odious bullshitter O'Leary is right

In today’s podcast I look at the pronouncements from the odious leprechaun at Ryanair (RYA), Michael O’Leary. He may be right in what he says but that is no reason to buy airline shares. Then I cover Corero (CNS), Open Orphan (ORPH), where I am both vindicated after Friday’s letter to AIM Regulation and also a seller of more shares today, Novacyt (NCYT), Collagen (COS), Falanx (FLX), and Bidstack (BIDS). Thanks to those who have donated to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks but most of you have not yet! In today’s podcast I look aty one theory about the past 48 hourse at Great Western Mining (GWMO). i shall be asking the FCA to investigate. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Update from flood central, just when will IQE issue its Coronavirus warning

This really is today’s bearcast despite my introduction. Thanks for the kind messages about the flooding, the waters are now recedng fast. In today’s podcast I look at China and the Coronavirus and ask WHEN IQE (OQE) will warn and if that will force a discounted placing. Methinks it will. I then look at the rioles of brokers (does research mean anything)? and Nomads (rules on quitting) in general and specifically in relation to Versarien (FRAUD). Then I discussa crazed TW hater and Optibiotix (OPTI) and how ultimately all comment on a company cannot determine its real value. If you want to join us (last year there were 14 rogue bloggers in all) email me at [email protected] and we can chat. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - update on my literary works, Tatnall clings on - time for a confirmatory people's vote at doomed Plutus?

Ahead of the start of my training for the 2020 Woodlarks walk on June 13 I appeal for volunteers – who will join me on this 34 mile trek? Then there is an update on my literary efforts. Then it seems asn if Nu-OG (NUOG) may be the third company dragged into the criminal activiuty on private chat-rooms scandal. Just how big is this? Then I turn to Plutus Powergen (PPG) where the useless and venal board survived a sack the board GM narrowly. C’mon, our resident in-house Euro loon Jonathan Price, who now asserts as an insult that my Dad and I are “posh”, how about you start campaigning for a confirmatory second people’s GM?

ShareProphets Election coverage: Vote Liberal Democrat says Woodlarks walker Jonathan Price

We are running articles by supporters of the three main parties in Britain urging you to vote for their party. If you are some SNP supporting sheep molester or cottage burning Taffy and want to bleat about not having your say, tough. This is about parties that are serious across the UK ….and also the Lib Dems. Our first contributor was lifelong Labour supporter Brian Basham, next was writer here and recently elected Conservative Councillor Chris ‘three brains’ Bailey and now it is Woodlarks walker Jonathan Price for the Lib Dems:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: How is the next bailout placing at the Eden fraud going?

Firstly, thanks to all who have donated to the Woodlarks Christmas grotto appeal. We are now at 57% of target, can the rest of you chip in today and get us there. Please donate HERE. In today’s podcast I look at Bidstack (BIDS), Eden Research (EDEN), Dev Clever (DEV), Mothercare (MTC), Intu (INTU) and Sound Energy (SOU) where I did tell y’all so many times.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hey Ed what scandal are you going to "predict" next? Bernie Madoff? Enron?

I start and end with a request that each Bearcast listener backs the Woodlarks Christmas appeal. Even £2 each and we’d be there. So go on donate now HERE. Then it is onto reports that the stricken Woodford empire may be selling £500 million of healthcare stocks. But at what price? Then it is onto how Ed Croft of Stockopedia, the company that flagged up mega fraud Quindell as one of the top 10 AIM stocks to buy, is claiming to have “predicted” the  Neil Woodford scandal. Of course it did not but no doubt this persuades more folks to sign up to Ed’s flawed system.  Then I crow as I discuss Nanoco (NANO) which I called out as long ago as 2015 and discuss where next for Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) as its open offer flops.

Tom Winnifrith's Festive Appeal: Please join me in supporting the amazing Woodlarks Christmas Grotto

Plans are already underway for our main fund raising event for Woodlarks each year, the 33 mile Rogue Bloggers walk in the summer. The fourth walk is going to be on a different, 1 mile longer, route than the first three and takes place on June 13 2020 and I will be badgering everyone I know to ensure that we raised even more than the £50,000 we raised in 2019.  But that badgering can wait. For now, Christmas looms…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the stench of exploitation makes this uninvestable

Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks is now just £124.82 shy of its £50,000 target. If you are yet to donate, today is your last chance so please do so HERE. I have another warning from the crooked leprechaun Brian McDonnell of US Oil & Gas (USOP) and i discuss why, at every level, Amigo (AMGO) is uninvestable at almost any price.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Brian McDonnell you poisonous & crooked leprechaun I shall see you and your USOP bitchez in Court!

Firstly, we are now at more than 99% of our Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks target. If you have yet to donate please do so NOW HERE. Next year there are a few changes planned as I discuss. I then discuss my friendship with Richard Poulden and how it affects my writing. Finally Brian McDonnell, the liar and crook who runs the worthless fraud US Oil & Gas (USOP), I am planning a legal and media circus in Dublin to end your career, that of your mentor Liam McGrattan and Niall, Bertie and your other cronies. You want to play ball bitchez?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The placed Neil Woodford "scoop" in the Sunday Times - read through the spin, it could be endgame by July 1

Firstly a few words on Woodlarks. Your generosity has secured its funding for another year. So thanks to all who supported the rogue bloggers. Photos of myself and other old codgers crossing the line are HERE. If you have yet to donate we need just £690 more to hit £50,000 so please donate HERE. Then it is onto Woodford and taking out the spin of the stories in today’s Sunday Times it looks really grim and I explain why it could be end game by early July and also why I think we loyal Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) shareholders were misled at the recent AGM.

From the Farnham golf club two and a half miles out the young folks (plus Jonathan Price, minus Steve Moore) were sent ahead to finish as promised at 8.30. Andrew Bell’s knee collapsed and he had to complete the walk by taxi and the old men slogged on.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Why I think Malcolm Stacey is wrong on Bigdish & good riddance you mendacious old hag

In today’s bearcast I explain why I disagree with Malcolm on Bigdish (DISH) this morning. I look at IQE (IQE) and the growing risks after today’s statement and there is a final appeal on Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks. we are now less than £4,000 shy of the £50,000 target, if you have yet to donate please do so HERE

Roger Lawson of ShareSoc has not reacted well to yesterday’s article HERE but still refuses to say how he wants me and ShareProphets to be curbed and controlled. Over to you comrade and I think you really are talking bollocks. Then it is onto Red Rock Resources (RRR), Georgian Mining (GEO) and some hard questions about potential AIM Rules breaches at Westminster Group (WSG), run by loathsome ex Tory MP Tony Baldry of 3DM infamy. I remind you to risk a milkshake from a wretched lefty and vote the right way today. Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Stockopedia, Optibiotix & Optiva not trying to bribe me!

Broker Optiva has made a very generous donation to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks. Given how beastly I am about it (as is Levi) that is very generous. I suggest you follow suit HERE. Stockopedia has done another poor hatchet job on Optibiotix (OPTI). I explain why it is just a piss poor and pointless piece. The shares, at 89p are a BUY at up to 90p and will be 125p+ in a very short order.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Transgender "genocide", IQE profits alert and Monkey facing wipeout

WARNING: Our apologies, this Bearcast has distorted sound from after ten minutes, when Tom recorded it. It is still audible. We’ll try to fix it for tomorrow’s Bearcast. I start with a short bit on the wild use of language and yes the trans “genocide” is my starting point. I look at IQE (IQE), Thomas Cook (TCG) and classic red flags – Eight Peaks Group (8PG), Yu (YU.), Bushveld (BMN) and Tesla (TSLA). If you have yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks (another announcement tomorrow), please do so HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Woodford and another £10m down the Proton Partners pan - a new valuation scandal

Today’s Bearcast is late and I did no training walk as I feel a touch under the weather. On Thursday I quizzed Neil Woodford about Proton Partners International (PPI) and he bull-shitted for England. On Friday he chucked another £10 million of other folks cash down the Proton pan which opens up a whole new can of worms in terms of valuations which I discuss in detail. Neil has yet to donate for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks despite my polite AGM request and 70% of bearcast listeners have not chipped in either. Please rectify that HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Advice for Andrew Monk on how to be a spiv

I start with a comment on the amazing generosity of one person donating more than £11,000 to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks yesterday. It was not Neil Woodford though I did ask. Anyhow: to the 75% of you yet to donate think of me this weekend on a) my last training walk ahead of 33 miles next weekend and b) entertaining a visiting mother in law. As you think of my weekend, please donate HERE. In the podcast I discuss Woodford’s latest bad news, Maistro (MAIS), Blur as was, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and Staffline (STAF). I also offer advice to Andrew Monk on which 1 AIM stock he should buy today for his mother’s IHT Portfolio.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the Sheriff battles Neil Woodford at WPCT AGM

Today’s bearcast is a full report on the AGM of Neil Woodford’s Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) which I’d score as a win for me against the great fund manager and his chairman Susan Searle. I did manage to get Cheryl Cole into the debate and I did ask Neil woodford to donate to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks, as you can do here,, but I also took the board to task on a number of other matters and managed to get Neil pretty riled. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Defrauded of £36 by Rentalcar/Europcar and fecking livid

I explain the nature of the fraud and why I am so livid. My anger is compounded by Wrexham Council and its inability to sign roadworks which wasted half an hour of my life. Then I find I agree with David Lenigas on something: can life get any worse? I discuss Argo BlockChain (ARB), PureCircle (PURE), Cabot Energy (VAB), Watchstone (WTG) and Toople (TOOP). Maybe I have a second question for Neil Woodford, will anyone pay £250 for me to ask it? If you are yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks we are now at £27,000 raised so please chip in HERE.

At 10.30 AM tomorrow I shall be in the City of Lost Causes for the AGM of Neil Woodford’s investment trust dog Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) where, as the loyal owner of 10 shares, I have a few questions for Britain’s most conceited fund manager.

And finally I look at Audioboom (BOOM) and worry that another placing will be needed soon. Today, his most devoted follower on the sewer that is Fleet Street, Jeff Prestridge of the Mail on Sunday has, after 30 years of loyally kissing Woodford's arse at least once a fortnight, abandoned ship. The ship once swarmed with parasitic and, often unthinking, rats. Now there is just one left, Hargreaves Lansdown. I explian what this all means. If you enjoyed this, almost 100% profanity free, bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Wrestling with my conscience on Yourgene, Down Syndrome and abortion

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: if you wait by the river for long enough...

In today's podcast I explain why Julie Meyer has spurred me to battle on, though I do consider calling it a day now and again. I look at Quindell (QPP), London & Capital Finance, Neil Woodford, and flag up that the FCA has opened or stepped up an enquiry into another company I covered in some detail. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: maybe it really is time to call it a day

In today's extra long podcast I reflect that one day folks like Julie Meyer will win and I shall call it a day. I have lasted two years longer than John Hempton predicted. I also look back on a curious fraud from my early days back in, I think, 1995.  I look at Tomco (TOM), Range Resources (RRL), RedT (RED), Columbus Energy (CERP) and VSA valuations, Goldstone Resources (GRL), Verseon (VERS) and Domino's Pizza (DOM). If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

I start with a soddy attempt by spivs at Atlantic capital to secure new customers to fleece with thir crap CFD advice - c/o ADVFN a report on IQE (IQE). I explian why it is shite. Then I turn to allegations that Debenhams (DEB) and Domino's Pizza (DOM) issued RNS statements that were somewhere between misleading and untrue. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 19 miles in the mud and dog pooh

I start with a recount of what is my longest training walk yet as I build up to the 33 mile Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks stroll on May 25. As you think of me wading through mud and dog pooh, gosh I loathe selfish dog owners, please make a donation to this great cause HERE. Then I look at Interserve (IRV) and dumb bleaters and at Metals Exploration (MTL), Tim Blackstone's fave hound, and why its latest bombshell surely calls for a change in the AIM casino rules when it comes to Nomad Resignations.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Why Hargreaves Lansdown CAN'T tell its clients to dump Neil Woodford and why the yield on EIF is set to crash

I start with the utterly shite journalism of Jeff Presstrip in the Mail on Sunday which disgraces our profession as I explain HERE. Then it is onto Neil Woodford and two issues. First why HL just cannot tell its dumb clients to sell and, secondly, why the yield on the flasgship EIF will plunge from 4.1% today to something starting with a 2 within a year, if the fund still exists. I believe that she is guilty of the same at BCA Marketplace (BCA) and explain why that is the next car crash for Neil Woodford. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Mirriad needs to fess up, Debenhams does not discount what lies ahead

I cover WH Ireland (WHI) and the crisis engulfing the small cap world in a serperate bearcast HERE but touch on its downfall in the main bearcast. I look at Mirriad (MIRI) which needs to fess up as to how much cash has not yet been spunked, Rose Petroleum (ROSE) and insolvent Cabot (CAB) and the panic sells created by the demise of City Financial Investments, the bid for Independent Oil & Gas (IOG) and at Debenhams (DEB) where the worst is yet to come. Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: WH Ireland is a shit-show (as predicted) but this is an industry in crisis

In this bonus bearcast I comment on today's lack of profits warning from WH Ireland (WHI) and the bailout placing now underway which I had predicted. I look at WH Ireland and its woes but it is symptomatic of an industry in crisis. FinnCrap (FCAP) must warn sooner or later and most of the rest of the Nomad/brokers already have. What is needed is massive wage cuts across the board. Thankfully for supliers of coke and hookers, that will not happen which means a structural and cyclical crisis will claim more casualties soon. Photo Article: Woodlarks Training Walk Number two - part 4, through the mud to the finish

Having got my sums wrong (again), I was delighted when, at last, the viaduct which takes the Bitton railway over the river Avon, came into sight. I was still six minutes ahead of the schedule I had set myself and so, if my new sums were right, would reach the finishing line, the pub at Hanham Weir, shortly before the Mrs and Joshua arrived at two thirty. So I walked down from the railway line towards the path by the river. Uh Oh...thick squelchy mud, I couldn'r go over it, I could go round it I had to go through it. Squelch, squerch, Apologies to the Bear Hunt for that.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast - today's shocking news from Neil Woodford keeps the FCA at bay ...for a while

Today we have news of a shocking transfer of unquoted crap from Woodford's flagship Equity Income Fund to Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT). It may keep the FCA at bay on one point for a while but it is a joke that only serves to create fresh problems. And the RNS is misleading to boot on the issue of cash. Or lack of it. As I noted yesterday, the FCA would not tolerate this nonsense from any other fund manager but its pressure is forcing Nomates to act in an increasingly desperate manner. If you enjoyed this podcast please support the EIGHT rogue bloggers for Woodlarks with a small donation HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: An official statement re Cheryl Cole and "imminent" action

Please remember that i do occassionally lapse into Parody thus while the first few minutes of this podcast concern the nation's sweetheart and most talented chanteuse, my real concern is the scandal at Blue Jay Mining (BYAY) unearthed by today's RNS. I cover the role of shamed promoter Old Mother Michael Walters, disgraced broker John Meyer of SP Angel of the Mysquar (MYSQ) fraud shame and of course the company itself. Photo Article: Woodlarks Christmas Grotto appeal from Tom Winnifrith

Once again I ask you for a small Christmas donation for Woodlarks. Every year our hero Nick Richards (below) and a team of volunteers build a special Santa's grotto at the Woodlarks campsite. Last year we had over 200 children from special needs schools and children’s hospices visit the site for a great day out which culminated in each getting a present from Santa. we aim to do the same again (or more) in 2018. But, as you know, Woodlarks has very little cash and this costs about £2,500 to put on. So...

I have told that if needs be I will ask a friend to come out of retirement and rob a bank to ensure Woodlarks has the cash. But it would be better still if, as last year, readers made a small donation. I will keep asking until we hit the target so please help us to get there and donate now HERE

There is no actual murder in the Dorothy L Sayers novel, Gaudy Night. But as my old Oxford college prepares to throw a Gaudy, a black tie reunion dinner, for folks in my year and the two around it, the book springs to mind. It is, I think, now in Greece so perhaps a summer re-read is due. I am not saying that I would like to see any of my peers murdered, not even conspiracy obsessed loon Carole Cadwalladr.  It is just that I have no desire to see them – and I’d bet a fiver that the feeling is mutual.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: David Lenigas needs to sort out his story on twitter - was he a UKOG placing insider or not?

First of all thanks for all the kind comments on the Woodlarks walk. The final photos and my final thoughts are HERE. It is not too late to donate HERE and that is what David Lenigas should do now as he gets his twitter knickers in a twist over his pre-placing tweets on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). He now says on twitter he was an insider -in the US that would be a perp walk admission. The shameless old ramper is now batting for Angus Energy (ANGS). Elsewhere I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) and the odd Midas call, Wolf Minerals (WLFE), N4 Pharma (N4P), Arden Partners (ARDN) and Goldplat (GDP). Back to Woodlarks: next year I seek volunteers to join the 4 rogue bloggers. I now have 4 (PR genius Steffi, daughter Olaf, my pal the Euro loon Jonathan Price and Steve Moore), if you are up for it email [email protected]

Photo article: Horse Hill to Woodlarks: Brokerman Dan in underwear and the final stretch

The 33 mile walk from Horse Hill to Woodlarks was actually a bit longer for myself and super-fit Dan Levi, Brokerman Dan. At about fifteen miles Dan and Lucian Miers were striding ahead and myself and Andrew Bell were somewhat lagging. We came to a junction and the sign clearly said head left, downhill. And so we did that. Worrying that we might have made the wrong decision I called Lucian who assured us that it was okay to follow the sign at the gate. He said Dan and he would wait.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast special with Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers

This was recorded the night before the great Horse Hill to Woodlarks walk and is a great podcast covering Dave Lenigas, Paul Scott, a raft of jokes, short tips, long tips and so much more. If you have not yet donated to our walk, if you enjoyed this please get your wallet out and give some cash NOW HERE.

Photo Article: 4 Rogue Share Bloggers walk from Horse Hill to Woodlarks - No 1

This is the night before at our hotel in Dorking. Andrew Bell had yet to pitch up so this is Brokerman Dan, Lucian Miers, myself and Joshua standing in for Bell. Joshua hit the bottle hard, Lucian followed suit. Myself and Dan kept a clear head as we start walking at 5.30 AM. To help us raise £25,000 or more for a great cause - and if we raise more than £25,000 to ensure Dan walks the last of 33 miles in his underwear, please make a small donation HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - a 5th rogue blogger joins us on the road to Woodlarks, you will NEVER guess who

Yes, for the last six miles we will be joined by a fifth rogue blogger tomorrow on the 33 mile trek from Horse Hill to Woodlarks. You will not guess who in a month of Sundays. All is revealed in the podcast. We have now raised £23,715. Just £1,285 more and Brokerman Dan walks the last mile in his underwear, an event we will photograph. So if you are yet to donate, please do so HERE. In today's podcast I look at Johnson Press (JPR), FastJet (FJET) - do the maths comrades - Europa Metals (EUZ) and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG).

Photo article - are you as tight-fisted and mean as a London tourist?

Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater, says that until last week it was happening, on average, 12 times a day. Tourists would wander past his, most excellent, Wedge Issue pizza joint on the Clerkenwell Road and just walk in asking if they could use its loos for free. Of course cleaning the bogs, providing loo paper etc means such a service is a cost for Darren with no revenue associated. So he put sign below up, with a jar with some coins in it behind....

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - get your wallet out to see Brokerman Dan in his undies and...Vin is back!

Thank you, thank you. we have reached our £20,000 target for Woodlarks. In fact Luke Johnson has just pledged £1,000 so we are now well over £21,000 but if we reach £25,000 Brokerman Dan will undress for you. More on that in the podcast but please donate, if you have not already, HERE. Elsewhere I look at Facebook (FB) and Robber Barons of the nineteenth century, at Imaginatik (IMTK) and Vin Murria, the Queen of Tech, at Range Resources (RRL) and at RM2 (RM") a Neil Woodford dog where I reckon cash is already looking tight, again!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: C'mon Dave Lenigas tell your UKOG twitter trolls that attacking a charity for the disabled is disgusting

As of last night a group of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) twitter trolls have moved from attacking me over THIS ARTICLE to having a pop at Woodlarks over the walk on Saturday. Big Dave Lenigas is copied in on these tweets. I urge him to state clearly that attacking charities for the disabled is obscene and to make a donation HERE - as should any bearcast listener who has not done so already!  I have recorded a special Woodlarks podcast today which you can listen to HERE. In this bearcast I ask what will make an overvalued market crack and look at Tern (TERN), Amur (AMC), Metals Exploration (MTL), Optibiotix (OPTI) and Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) once more.

Tom Winnifrith Podcast: Why I walk for Woodlarks, how I got involved and why it matters so much

On Saturday I shall try to walk 33 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks with Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers, my fellow rogue bloggers. In this podcast I explain why I got involved so many years ago, what Woodlarks does and why all of you should donate to this great charity HERE. Please take 12 minutes out to listen and then make a donation.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hell's teeth Lucian says it is actually 33 miles! IQE - I smell panic & Rangers' Dave King Court date

Brokerman Dan has been replaced as the maps man on our Woodlarks Charity walk on Saturday. Perhaps we now know why in his former career he did not always get away. For it turns out that the walk is not 32 miles but 33. Lucian has mapped it out in full. Cripes. We now need just over £2,000 to reach our £20,000 target so if you have not yet sponsored me please do so HERE. Get us to target & I will shut up about it. In the podcast I look at IQE (IQE), Rangers FC and another date in court for Dave King, Thirsty Paul Scott not understanding what research means & wanting me not to cover Sosandar (SOS), Cenkos (CNKS), ADVFN (AFN) and Online Blockchain (OBC), Highlands Natural Resources (HNR) and Fishing Republic (FISH) which, I think, is AIM toast in waiting

My penultimate appeal for your cash – five days to the Woodlarks walk, more than £15,000 now raised – we want & Woodlarks wants and needs twenty!

Yesterday was my last big training walk – 22, 23 or 24 miles in the Somerset hills. I am not sure how long it was as the signs were dreadful and I got a bit lost.  But I made it and feel confident that this Saturday coming up I can do the 32 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks with fellow rogue bloggers Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I shall make this simple - how close to insolvency is Cabot & are its ex CEO and FD insider dealers?

You have less than a week of me berating you but as we celebrate Optibiotix (OPTI) reaching 100p ( twice) today I ask you to spare a tenner for a great cause. We are more than 80% of the way to hitting our £20,000 walk for Woodlarks target so ahead of 32 miles of pain for myself, Brokerman Dan & Lucian Miers please donate HERE. Elsewhere I look at IQE (IQE), Frontera (FRR), SalvarX (SALV), Pantheon Resources (PANR), Golden Prospect Precious Metals (GPPM) and finally what may be a major scandal at Cabot Energy (CAB).

Getting half lost in the Somerset hills – my last big training walk before the monster on Saturday

On Saturday myself, Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers, aka the rogue bloggers, will walk 32 miles from the infamous Horse Hill “Gatwick Gusher” oil well to Woodlarks, aiming to raise £20,000 for that amazing charity. Reminder – Woodlarks needs that cash to up its income from just £126,500 last year, to close its deficit and keep doing its amazing work providing holidays for handicapped folks who would otherwise get none.  Yesterday was my last long training walk…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast- is this ex Jim Mellon stock the biggest joke valuation going?

Ok, I am back from a 22-24 mile walk which I shall write up tomorrow but if you could smell my feet? I know many of you hav e donated to Woodlarks ahead of next Saturday's 32 mile stroll by myself, Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers and we have now raised £14,267.88 but to those who have not donated, PLEASE DO SO NOW HERE. In today's podcast I discuss the CBI talking Brexit shite again - it does NOT speak for British industry. I remind you we have no house view, ref Sosandar (SOS). I raise two questions arising out of a Saturday lunch Joshua and I had with Highland Natural Resources (HNR), notably who will back my new goat lending business. And I look at an ex Mellon stock, Okyo Pharma (OKYO), its valuation is a 100% rum and coke and I explain why.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The £172k court case Safestyle is keeping quiet about & why Chris Bailey's City pal is wrong

I recorded this on my last night in Greece. As you listen I shall be starting the trek back to Bristol. I appeal to those yet to donate to the Woodlarks charity walk by myself, Lucian Miers and Brokerman Dan to donate HERE - we are at 69% of our £20,000 target and every cent pledged will make a difference. Thanks to a reader for spotting a court case involving Safestyle (SFE) which is utterly shocking - I reckon this makes the stock uninvestable. I then take issue with the analysis of a City pal of Chris "three brains" Bailey on the matter of fraud.

Thank God for small mercies. Now we can start a rota on who has to listen to Brokerman Dan blathering on about blockchain and what a frigging genius Clem Chambers is. Walking through the burning Greek Sun - not plain sailing

My 32 mile walk for Woodlarks with my fellow rogue blogger, Brokerman Dan, is now just two weeks away and I am conscious that most of my training has been on the flat. What better way to prepare for the Surrey hills than to walk up a Greek mountain in the burning summer heat? And so at 8.30 AM off I set....

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Its not that I don't believe Rob Proctor means what he says, but...

I am now back from my 12-14 mile walk of which the first six were solidly uphill. I shall post details of what happened on my own website but it was an adventure. Think of me trekking up the mountain road and please make a donation to Woodlarks ahead of my 32 mile walk with Dan in two weeks time. Donate here. In today's podcast I look in detail at Audioboom (BOOM) and its statement of yesterday. And I flag up some more red flags regarding Telit (TCM).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Evil makes £25k betting AGAINST England, Telit - the numbers don't stack up

For reasons explained in the podcast my walk up into the mountains is postponed until Saturday. So the suffering is delayed. Don't delay with a donation to Woodlarks HERE. In the bearcast itself I look at Evil Knievil's World Cup gambles and who he is backing in the final, at a potentially horrid spat at Bacanora (BCN) which looks set to get very nasty indeed, into murky share deals at Cabot Energy (CAB) - a massive scandal in the making and in real detail at the Telit (TCM) disposal announced today. The numbers just do not stack up.

Sweating for Woodlarks – Mad Dogs and all that, strolling in Greece

I have not kept up to date with my training for about a week and am conscious that my 32 mile charity walk for Woodlarks is now not that far away – July 28. I meant to have a quick six mile practice stroll along the coastal road out of Kalamata yesterday afternoon but IT snags caused a postponement. And so I headed off at noon today in the mid-day sun. I think it was about 34 degrees.

For that surely you can donate a tenner to the Woodlarks charity walk appeal HERE. Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks visit Manchester slums - caption contest (deadline midnight)

Tomograph readers will know that I ventured to the grim north over the weekend to the slums of Manchester and there I met up with Brokerman Dan. Surely my bravery in heading to the post industrial welfare safari deserves some reward. My next meeting with Dan will be on July 28 as we walk 32 miles for Woodlarks. Sponsorship, to date, now tops £13,000 (£15,500 with gift aid). Thanks to those who have donated already, to those who have not I am sure you can spare a tenner HERE. Meanwhile Dan is the shorter one on the left, dressed like he's just left the Pride march. How about a caption contest? Do you worst in the comments section below - deadline Tuesday midnight.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Putting on a smart shirt as the van speeds away

As you can see HERE, I have spent the morning loading a white van as boxes of my stuff heads out to the Greek Hovel which might just have a roof by the weekend! Yesterday i was in Manchester and braving its slums albeit with Brokerman Dan providing security was heroic. For that, if not for the planned 32 mile walk with Dan how about you give a tenner to Woodlarks HERE. On the podcast I cover Optibiotix (OPTI), another victim of Julie "lingerie on expenses" Meyer MBE on the phone, Stobart (STOB), FairFx (FFX), Mothercare (MTC) and - with not too much sniggering  - the flop at me-too Viagra play N4 Pharma (N4P)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - in defence of KPMG (well sort of)

I start by looking back to where I watch the World Cup Final 4 years ago and where I will be watching the semi on Wednesday. When you have finished donating a tenner to Woodlarks HERE, this podcast covers the current scandal surrounding the big 4 and KPMG in particular. Sam Antar used KPMG in his 18 year fraud but is it fair to pick on one firm? Is the system inherently flawed? What would I do to make things better?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel (including Daily Mail journalists)

You don't care what I say today, all you care about is the football. Indeed: come on Eng-er-land. I reflect briefly on the soccer, then cover Mrs May's Brexit sell out, why I'm not voting for the party of the useless and treacherous old hag again, and finally discuss the idea that British companies should not be bought by "dirty foreigner", ref Inmarsat (ISAT). I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) en passant and am glad that thanks to the incredible generosity of Nick Leslau, myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised £13,000 - 65% of our target - for Woodlarks ahead of the 28 July charity walk. If you don't like me or the Israeli army or Versarien (VRS) and enjoy my suffering please donate to the Woodlarks charity walk on July 28 - we are now just £31 from 50% of our target fund raise. Be generous HERE. On the podcast today I look at Versarien, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) where Lucian Miers is taking one hell of a beating from big Dave Lenigas, MySquar (FRAUD) - 7 days to courtroom drama - 88 Energy (88E) - you were warned - Mosman (MSMN)  and Frontera (FRR). I also look at new leverage limits on spread betting coming in on 29 July and what that means in nanny state Europe and the UK.

27 miles in up to 31 degree heat – yesterday’s practice trek for Woodlarks.

It is now less than four weeks until myself and Brokerman Dan try to walk from Horse Hill to Woodlarks to raise money for this charity which I have backed for 16 years and which does amazing work as you can see HERE.  Dan is far fitter than I am and sent late night texts on Friday saying that he had  managed a 21 mile walk but was a wreck and needed a lighter rucksack. I know it is hot up in Manchester what with all those fires on the Moors but I think he is kidding me. It is all psychology. My plan was to do 26 miles on Sunday.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Radio 4 misguided, ShareSoc Pompous & wrong, Amigo revolting

Tomorrow is my longest training walk yet for the Woodlarks 32 mile charity walk with Brokerman Dan. I plan to set off at 5 AM on a 26 mile trek. Think of my utter pain in this awful heat and please give £10 to a great cause HERE. I then look at the recent Radio 4 programme on shorting which was sprinkled with pompous and half-witted comments from ShareSoc. They are naive and have it all wrong and I explain why. Then I look at whether share dealing should be ethical - ref Dave Lenigas  and his ramping of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG)  - should we all get on board? Finally I look at the IPO of Amigo which I find revolting at every level.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: happy birthday Olaf although I know you will not be listening

I start by wishing my daughter Olaf a happy 17th although she will not be listening and indeed wants me to retire so I stop embarrassing her by expressing my support for Trump, reservations about abortion or other crimes against the new world of 2018. It was Olaf's birth all those year ago at 1lb 4oz that got me involved with Woodlarks as I explain. This weekend my training walk will be 26 miles in this scorching heat. Think of me and if Olaf can spare a tenner so can you - donate HERE. In the podcast I explain why Julie Meyer must be stopped it is not just investors that need protecting. The 3Xs are the fraudbusters best friends. In this case it was one of Julie Meyer's 3Xs and a new source. we chatted for just under an hour. More to follow. Oh dear, poor Ms Lingerie on Expenses MBE. In the podcast I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Purplebricks (PURP), Frontera (FRR), FastJet (FJET), MySquar (MYSQ) - where I have again contacted John Meyer urging him to get off his fat arse - Andalas (ADL) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks is now, with gift aid, at almost £11,000. I explain here why this walk makes the difference bewteen Woodlarks having to cut services or carry on, please do give a tenner today.  Think of my pain - not least in having to hear Dan talk total bollocks about Andalas for whole day - and COUGH UP HERE.

19 Mile Training walk for Woodlarks, another disaster: poor Lucian Miers

In the build up to my 32 mile charity walk for Woodlarks on July 28, I planned to build on last week’s 15 miler stroll with 19 miles and it all started so well. My pal Lucian Miers drove over from Winchester first thing and at 8 AM we started walking from just near Bristol Temple Meads. According to my calculations the Bath Bristol Railway path was 13 miles and Bath to the Hop Pole Inn on the other side was 6 miles largely along the Kennet & Avon Canal.

I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Frontera (FRR), Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), Prime People (PRP) and 88 Energy (88E). Tomorrow I will be bored to death by Lucian Miers, he will drone on about West Ham for 6 hours as we complete a 19 mile training walk from Bristol along the Avon to a few miles past Bath. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: naughty, naughty Jim Mellon, I WAS watching at no-one is watching O'clock

I start with the announcement late last night from FastFoward Innovations (FFWD) the overvalued investment company run by my good friend the offshore based asset stripper Mr Jim Mellon. I move on to the FRC dealing with Russell McBurnie the disgraced ex FD of RSM Tenon and discuss book cookers, fraudsters. Sam Antar theories and crime and punishment generally. I look at Akers Biosciences (AKR) where book cooking ahead of a placing is alleged, at Zenith (ZEN) and at LPA (LPA) where i would not bottom fish after today's warning for a variety of reasons. Then I note MySquar (FRAUD) is down to 1.15p and I ask John Meyer of SP Angel once more if he will act or is he happy to wash his hands and turn a blind eye to crime. Tonight is a 6 mile training walk and Joshua and I will do two miles this morning. With Gift aid my charity walk on July 28 has now raised almost £10,000. I explain exactly what that means to Woodlarks. If you have not donated, please chip in now with a tenner to get us over £10,000 HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Time to be nice to Paul Scott but John Meyer needs to listen hard about MySquar & get off his arse

Okay despite all the harsh ( but arguably fair) things I have said about him, thirsty Paul Scott has just donated £50 to the Woodlarks sponsored walk charity appeal so I am going to be nice about him for a while unless he has a twitter meltdown. Chaka Khan. Chaka Khan. Cheeese. Anyhow surely you can follow Paul, watch this video HERE to see the great works Woodlarks does then donate a few quid HERE. In the podcast I take MySquar (MYSQ) apart, John Meyer at SP Angel needs to wake up, listen and get off his arse. I also look at Frontera (FRR) - bailout placing at 0.3p? - IDOX (IDOX) and Herencia (GER)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Despite being a staunch feminist, I reckon the birds who run FootAsylum must be fired NOW!

I explain why the FD and CEO of FootAsylum (FOOT) must be fired at once after today's profits warning. I forgot to say that any company holding and announcing an "analyst teach in" - as Rob Terry used to do - is almost an automatic sell in my book and FootAsylum is an offender in this respect. I also look at FastForward (FFWD) and explain why I think Jim Mellon has sinned, albeit legally. I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Andalas (ADL) and McCarthy & Stone (MCS). In terms of the walk we are now well over £9,000 with gift aid and ahead of a training walk in the rain tonight I ask again. Most bearcast listeners are enjoying my suffering but are yet to help Woodlarks with a donation. Please, I am sure you can spare a tenner HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: So just why were Bush & Morgan fired by Cabot? I think I have the answer to that $16.5m question!

I am still recovering from yesterday's 14 mile training walk for the Woodlarks 32 mile charity walk. Yesterday's trip did not go quite to plan and ended up being a tad longer than expected. I explain all HERE. If you enjoy my suffering I shall do a 20 mile walk next weekend so how about you spare a tenner and sponsor me HERE. In the podcast I ask very hard questions about the sacking of the CEO and FD at Cabot Energy (CAB), formerly Northern Petroleum. I think I know why the P45s and black bags were handed out but Cabot must come clean NOW. Same Nomad, different dog, more questions - MySquar (FRAUD). It started well. I had planned a route from the Conham River Car Park on the outskirts of Bristol, along the Avon to Bath. The signs said it was 14 miles. What could be more pleasant?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - I said he was mad, I was wrong

In today's Bearcast I reflect that it is now just 6 weeks and 1 day to the great event. With gift aid myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised more than £8500 for Woodlarks. As I prepare for a 14 mile training walk this weekend please do sponsor me - I am sure you can afford to donate a tenner HERE. In the podcast I look at Orosur Mining (OMI) - down 48% today but still 90% overvalued - UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Kefi (KEFI) - where we own shares - RedstoneConnect (REDS), Purplebricks (PURP), Neil Woodford and Feedback (FDBK).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - the stench of Gavin Burnell of Globo infamy and the curse of bucket shop Belliss

The reference to scumbags John Belliss and Gavin Burnell is explained in full in this podcast which covers CyanConnode (CYAN), Audioboom (BOOM), Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP), Revolution Bars (RBG), Peter Schiff and the economy, AIQ (AIQ), Tern (TERN) and Haydale (HAYD).  Both Brokerman Dan and I are now training with blisters. This weekend I move up to a 14 mile walk ahead of our 32 mile July 28 stroll for Woodarks. Thanks to all who have sponsored us. swe have now raised more than £8,000 with gift aid and are at 34% of our target. To those 90% of you listening who have not pledged, surely you can spare a tenner. You can donate £10 HERE

Walking, walking, walking – update on my training for Woodlarks, another day of humiliation

I see that  Brokerman Dan, who will be walking 32 miles for Woodlarks with me on July 28, has tweeted about completing a 15 mile training walk. In the smug looking selfie that accompanied the tweet the old bastard looks fresh as a daisy, as if he had just strolled to and from the local corner store. If only it were that way for me.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: think of me with those muscular body builders laughing at me

Yes, today's training session for my Woodlarks charity walk is down at the gym run by local Tory stalwart Perry. Everyone else there is a muscular body builder. Then there is me. As the muscle men laugh at my pathetic efforts please donate a tenner ( as 95% of you have failed to do) to the 32 mile 28 July charity walk HERE.  In the podcast I discuss rescuing junk mail from Oakley's piss and netting £922.77, Audioboom (BOOM) - do the maths, its looking dire even post placing for free speech denying worm Rob Proctor, Feedback (FDBK), Avanti Communications (AVN) and Inmarsat (ISAT), Jim Mellon's Fast Forward (FFWD), LightwaverRF (LWRF), PCGE (PCGE) and AIQ (AIQ).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Almost feeling sorry for Lyin' Steve Sanderson at UK Oil & Gas - placing at as low as 0.5p?

My planned 7.5 mile training walk (pushing Joshua) today became 10 miles as I explain HERE. Think about my poor sore feet and aching legs and if you have not yet donated a tenner to the Woodlarks appeal please do so HERE. In the podcast I explain why the fraud MySquar (MYSQ)  and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) face the same predicament and that is why the latter may well place at as low as 0.5p next week. I then look again at the tweets of David Lenigas last Thursday - HERE - surely there is something very wrong in this matter.

My 7.5 mile training walk for Woodlarks today became a 10 mile shocker - blame cousin Johnny

My Woodlarks charity walk training plan for today was simple. My training path is the 2.5 miles path along the River Avon between Conham Hill car park and the Chequer's pub. It is a splendid walk which on Tuesday I did alone both ways (5 miles) and on Thursday I also did both ways but with Joshua in his buggy. Joshua and I saw ducks, swans, a train on the hill, all sorts of boats, a heron, blossom, a horse, it was great fun.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Pre-placing bullshit from Sound, Feedback and UK Oil & Gas

Today's bearcast is slightly delayed by the LSE IT glitch but here goes as Joshua and I prepare for coffee with the fit young mums and then another training walk, this time with Joshua. In the podcast I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Interquest (ITQ), Sound Energy (SOU) Feedback (FDBK), which wins bullshitter of the day award, and Frontera (FRR). Now, 5% of Bearcast listeners have donated to the Woodlarks charity walk but 95% have not! And we are now at 26% of our £20,000 target. As I prepare for a training walk - pushing Joshua - to those who have  donated I say thank you. To the rest, I know you can afford a tenner - think of me training and cough up now HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I would rather do PR for Satan than for Julie Meyer said the PR man, it would be an easier sell

This podcast is not about Julie but I just pass on a conversation with a PR man for your amusement. Instead I look in detail at Autyns (AUTG), Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP and the end of its dead cat bounce, and three placings and the resultant aftermarkets: Optibiotix (OPTI), Premaitha (NIPT) and Microsaic (MSYS) and what that says about companies that can exclude Primary Bid. Is it really so bad? Finally, Paul, the idiot from Luton, has sent me £20 and 5% of Bearcast listeners have donated to the Woodlarks charity walk but 95% have not! To those who have  donated I say thank you. To the rest, I know you can afford a tenner. Please follow Paul the Idiot from Luton and cough up now HERE

My first training walk for Woodlarks completed - don't laugh 5 miles is okay says Brian

In just under two months I shall be doing a 30 mile walk for the excellent Woodlarks Charity with my friend the blogger and former bank robber Brokerman Dan. Dan is rather fitter than I am and keeps tweeting messages about how he is just popping out for a quick 10 mile training yomp. I do not know if he is just trying to spook me or if he is serious but I have a horrible feeling that it is the latter.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - it has been six bloody hard years

In today's bearcast I celebrate six years of being a full time investigative writer not a crony capitalist. I take issue with Roger Lawson on the deadwood press and how the view me but agree partially with him on Inheritance Tax. I explain why there is a flood of Julie Meyer material and why it is justified. I look at Alfa Financial (ALFA) and its 1 year anniversary profits warning. I update on the African Potash (AFPO) class action against its Nomad Cantor Fitzgerald and how things are moving and why this could be my crowning achievement. Finally.. we are almost at £5,000. We are seeking to raise £20,000 for Woodlarks. that will be a game changer for a great charity. 95% of listeners have not donated. To those who have I say thank you. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - surely you want Brokerman Dan in his underpants all over the internet?

In today's bearcast I look at Mysquar (FRAUD), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and its latest spoof, Dignity (DTY) where I have grave concerns, Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP) and its dead cat bounce, Pantheon Resources (PANR) where it's placing ahoy and at Mirada (MIRA) where I fear the worst. Sorry Matt Earl. Brokerman Dan says that if we raise our target £20,000 for Woodlarks with our 30 mile charity walk on July 28 he will do the last mile in his underpants. We will have cameras on hand and splash it all over the internet. Thanks to all who have donated but 95% of bearcast listeners have yet to do so although we are already 23% of the way there. So please donate a tenner each today HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Okay I look a bit of a prat but Optibiotix buy case stronger than ever

In today's podcast I look at Falcon Media (FAL), Avanti Communications (AVN), Echo Energy (ECHO), Fishing Republic (FISH) - Gary Newman can you help us out here, Woodford dog Xeros (XSG) and Optibiotix (OPTI). Now the Woodlarks charity walk. We have now raised just over £4,000 (nearly £5,000) with gift aid. A big shout out to Mark McDowell who pledged £666 yesterday (clearly a reference to Brokerman Dan). But 97% of Bearcast listeners are yet to chip in, I am sure you can all spare a tenner so please donate NOW HERE. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - my heart goes out to Zac "the knife" Phillips at SP Angel - you poor bastard

In today's bearcast I express my sympathies to poor Zac for the job he has to do as an analyst writing about corporate clients. I refer to uber dog Mosman Oil & Gas(MSMN). I also look at Andalas (ADL) - the worst oil stock on AIM and which is STILL not answering valid questions as its shares collapse again. I look at Akers Biosciences (AKR) and, in detail, at IDOX (IDOX). Finally...97% of bearcast listeners  have NOT yet sponsored myself and Brokerman Dan for our 30 mile Woodlarks walk. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Julian Richer you are whistling on Phil Green and tax & will Italy bring down the Euro? It should!

I start with the myth which Julian Richer is trying to perpetuate that you can somehow stop large scale, 100% legal, tax avoidance by folks like Sir Phil Green or indeed the legal stuff we all engage in by using dividends in private companies, etc. Then I ask if Italy might break the Euro or even the EU who are behaving - again - with shocking contempt for the little people. It should. Will it?  Finally...98% of bearcast listeners  have NOT yet sponsored myself and Brokerman Dan for our 30 mile Woodlarks walk. The hypocrites celebrate referenda, the Irish celebrate murder

On Friday, the Irish voted to legalize abortion at up to 12 weeks. It is now Sunday and the BBC - my only English language TV here in Greece - is still covering this story with a manic obsession. "What a modern nation Ireland has become: a gay PM, abortion on demand, the Church in tatters, cue picture of joyous crowds." Okay, it does not mention its joy at the collapse of the Irish church but it makes its views clear with pictures of nuns scuttling away from polling stations looking miserable.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - the difference between private company and PLC account preparing - profit is a matter of opinion!

I start by noting I have received a begging email from Primary Bid re the Merio offer. Cynical Bear is right - avoid like the plague! Then as I finalise annual accounts for companies house for FIML and ShareProphets (loss in both cases) I explain the different motives of those preparing private company and listed company accounts and some tricks I could have used to show profits. Podcast: Tom Winnifrith reads The Gruffalo in Shetlandese for Woodlarks

Anyone with kids will know the classic tale The Gruffalo. One godfather of my baby son Joshua recently worked in the Shetland Islands so gave him a copy of the book in Shetlandese. I was reading that to Joshua, the other day, when a mining fellow called Paul Johnson rang and Paul said that if I recorded a podcast of the Gruffalo in Shetlandese then he would donate £100 to my favourite charity Woodlarks, which I have been supporting for more than a decade and a half. I know that I will sound like a total prat and my apologies go out to Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson and to the entire population of the Shetland Isles but it is for a good cause. If you appreciate this exercise in self-humiliation and wish to make a small donation to a good cause go to the Woodlarks website HERE

Photo article: Visiting Woodlarks seeing where readers money is transforming lives

On my way to Heathrow I stopped off at the Woodlarks campsite in Surrey a place where I have had an involvement since the birth of my daughter Olaf almost sixteen years ago, as I explained HERE. This site provides holidays for folks who are severely disabled and who would otherwise not get any sort of break. It is not a fashionable charity but it is one I have supported financially and which readers have supported over many years. To all those who have donated both to the Christmas festivities for 181 kids and also to the ongoing work here is the proof that your cash has made a difference.

Tangiers Petroleum – An Apology from me, Questions and Condemnation

James Parter revealed some quite disgraceful ramping of shares in Tangiers Petroleum (TPET) yesterday. His analysis was superb and shows why an Australian website was publishing plain untruths about this dual listed company. I suggest reading his article here.

That website then garnered publicity for its shit analysis by paying various UK website owners so send out a promotional mailing. Websites like this, ADVFN, etc are free to access and we therefore run a business model based on allowing financial services companies to send mailings to your mailing list. You know we have to pay our writers somehow!

I am embarrassed to say that OneFreeShareTip – an excellent website we run in partnership with ADVFN ran this mailing. The mailing was sold by the team at ADVFN and we have discussed the matter and they will not be selling to this client again for OFSTD. That is an honourable call by them and the right thing to do. But for what happened I apologise most sincerely. Anyone can offer words as an apology but although it was nothing to do with me, I want to show that I mean it.

I do not wish to make a cent out of this episode as I regard it as an unethical aspect of crony capitalism and so the portion of that sale which RMPC earned will be donated to the excellent Woodlarks charity.

Next we come to the Australian web site company

Can you spare £5 a month for Woodlarks – YES you can!

The only charity I support (it is a long story) is Woodlarks. It is an amazing organisation which provides severely handicapped folks with probably their only opportunity to enjoy a holiday each year. This is not a fluffy kitten fashionable charity. Keeping it going is hard work and the team at Woodlarks are all total heroes.

Now I ask can you spare £5 a month? Or even £10 a month?  I shall keep asking until I find enough people who say yes. Woodlarks has a special swimming pool for its campers which needs to be very well heated and that costs money. £15,000 a year.

And so it has launched an appeal asking those who can afford £5 a month or even £10 a month to make out a standing order to keep the pool heated and going.

I will kick this off with a £10 a month pledge. If 124 others make the same pledge then I shall stop banging on about this. Until then, I shall not let up.

Please help, this is not a fashionable charity or one with celebs backing it. If you can spare £5 or even £10 a month make the Woodlarks pledge now.

You can download a form here

My Christmas ETX Spreadbetting Challenge with Steve Moore – Trade 6 (Range Resources)

Do I think Range Resources (RRL) is overvalued ? Yes. Where are the shares going short term? I am not sure.

Not only are the markets in a fizzy mood making any short dangerous but from what I gather the company might just announce that it is ready to expand its Trinidad operations thanks to a new loan facility and/or it might actually sell its US assets. Either could see the shares spike short term.

Both are ifs not whens and I would certainly not regard this stock as cheap. But I am ahead on this short trade and so why not bank a gain. I am buying back Range to close at 1.356 and so have netted a massive profit of £2.32 on this trade.

That will assist me slight in my little pre-Christmas contest with Steve Moore. Whoever makes the most/loses the least will not send a cheque for £50 to Woodlarks. Any profits either of us make will also go to Woodlarks.

If you want to trade small caps like Range most spreadbetting firms won’t let you do it. ETX will. That is why we have partnered up with them.

If you open an account with them before Friday you will get a free £500 to trade with. You can open that account HERE

The First Trade in my Christmas ETX SpreadBet Challenge – buy @UK

Well here goes…I have never done a spread bet in my life until just now. I am challenging Steve Moore to a trading challenge to run until Christmas. And I am now underway.

We have both opened accounts with ETX and been given £50 to trade small cap shares. If we were to trade Forex or indices we could get another £450 free. This is not a special deal for us you too can get your free trades with ETX starting right now.

All you need to do to trade is to open an account which you can do in minutes – CLICK HERE

My first trade ( using my free £50) was to buy @UK (ATUK) at just over 55p with a 48p stop loss. The Closet Chartist says that the stock is heading to 80p, I like the management – having backed them at c5p a few years ago – and I hope this is a winner.

Any profits that I make on my Christmas trading challenge will go to the Woodlarks charity.

You can start spreadbetting small caps with ETX right now HERE

Teaming up with Spreadbetter ETX & I open my account for a Christmas challenge

We are approached by all sorts of spread-betting firms to partner up with them. After one not so great experience I am very picky about who we deal with. And so I am delighted to say that we have kissed the frogs and without reservation teamed up with ETX.

I have opened an account ( for a Christmas trading challenge with Steve Moore) and you too can do so here

Shareprophets will earn a small percentage of the spread each time you deal with an ETX account opened here so I hope that you do open such an account.

It was pretty much the same deal on offer across the board so why did we pick ETX?

1. They will allow you to spreadbet all the normal bets ( indices, forex, blue-chips, commodities) but almost uniquely they will also allow you to place a bet ( long or short) on small caps with a market cap of as little as £10 million. So you can short like Evil in a way you could not before but also0 place leveraged buy bets on the long tack.

2. ETX is a long established and pukkha firm which won’t be disappearing overnight like some newbies in this market. They are good guys.

3. You get a bonus of up to £500 for just opening an account. Can’t say fairer than that.

I will start my Christmas trading challenge with Steve (any profits we make on that will go to the Woodlarks charity) next week.  Spreadbetting is not suitable for everyone, your leverage means that losses are in theory unlimited.

But if you fancy a free bonus for signing up and want to spreadbet small caps I hope that you open an account HERE

Another letter to Sefton boss Jim Ellerton with 5 more questions

On Thursday I sent a letter by email to Sefton Resources (SER) boss Jim Ellerton asking him to apologise to me for his company's smear campaign against me and to make a small personal donation to the excellent Woodlarks Charity. I have yet to gain a reply or even an acknowledgement. As such I have sent a second letter and at the same time ask a couple more questions which either Sefton has neglected to answer or I have neglected to ask.

This letter is sent via Sefton’s lawyers at Pinsent Masons since I do not know whether Jim is currently in residence at his multi-million dollar Hawaii mansion or is in London, maximising shareholder value.

5 Pointers to Planning to grow your business in 2013 - No Innovation wanted

Like all businessmen I am sitting down reviewing the year just ended and working out how 2013 will be different. Under my direct control my restaurant (the excellent Real Man Pizza Company in Clerkenwell) has moved from loss into profit. It has missed its budget but still that is a starter. Not quite as good as our Manx kipper pate starter but still good enough. But next year will have to be better. And so I will work with my colleagues to ensure that it is. We plan. We think of changes. But if I am reading the thousands of business articles that are published every week, we are missing something in not looking to engage in dramatic innovation. This is deliberate.

Yes there will be some innovation. We introduced a couple of new soups onto the menu just before Christmas and also a new egg vegetarian pizza – the Woodlarks pizza. I will be introducing two new pizza dishes with the next menu in the summer and a new pudding dish as well. And as of Januaary we move to stocking just one range of beers, the award winning Curious Range made on a vineyard in Kent. But this is evolution not innovation. A company always needs to refresh and broaden its product offering – that should be a constant process. Innovation is taken to mean wholesale changes to the way one operates.

Innovation is by its nature disruptive and you need to ask yourself can your business cope with wholesale disruption in what will be a tough year for us all. In most cases I suspect that the answer is no.
