Irish antisemitism on twitter: he thought I was a Jew so compared me to the Einsatzgruppen

As it happens, I am not Jewish but I am increasingly ashamed to say that I regard myself as being of Irish heritage given that, what my dad called the Old Country, is an increasingly horrible bastion of virulent antisemitsm.

My twitter/X crime was to say how brave a young lady who had survived worst massacre of Jews since 1945 at the Nova music festival only by lying under the dead bodies of her pals while Hamas sprayed bullets all around her, was to attend a music festival two years later. I refer to Israel’s Eurovision contestant Yuval Raphael.

And this below, is the response from an Irish bigot who regarded me as another Jew to bait so compared me to the Einsatzgruppen.  Mike mistakenly thinks that only Jews might admire the courage of Yuval Raphael.

The Einsatzgruppen were the SS units which went in behind the Wehrmacht in Russia and elsewhere to kill Jews, usually in mass shootings but sometimes burning them alive or by hanging. Of the six million Jews slaughtered in the holocaust, around a quarter were killed by the Einsatzgruppen.

You can see how offensive this tweet is on the basis that Mike Rea reckons I am a Jew not a fellow Irishman. Except perhaps it is not deemed offensive in “the old country” where, in these shameful days it passes for banter and wit.
