Sareum: why can’t it just be transparent as it places yet again?

It is not quite up there with Eden Research (EDEN) and Blackbird (BIRD) in the AIM listed jam tomorrow contest. They were both founded in the last Century. But Sareum (SAR) will turn 21 this June and has never made a profit. So far in its miserable life it has sent more than £25 million to money heaven and at 14.75p after another keep the lights on placing it is capitalised at c £18 million. So sticking that £25 million in a building society account would have been a far better investment.

The snake in the garden of Eden Research talks with forked tongue (again)

Founded just under 30 years ago and listed for almost a quarter of a century Eden Research (EDEN) battles with Blackbird (BIRD) for the title of AIM’s most jam tomorrow stock. Eden has only ever once turned an accounting profit for any half year and that was a result of a Panama Pump accounting fraud. It has now managed to send well over £40 million to money heaven, including the costs of sending me a stream of lawyers letters for exposing its naughtiness back in 2005. Today the snake in the garden of Eden speaks with a forked tongue as a new joint broker is appointed.

Video: Brown Envelope Man and Blackbird

Naturally Zak Mir does not disclose that his financially challenged firm Lift Global Ventures (LFT) is paid to promote the shares of Blackbird (BIRD), the company that is so disruptive and cutting edge that in its 28th year has yet to make a profit in any single accounting period. It is surely the ultimate AIM producer of jam tomorrow and with Zak’s kiss of death, things can only get worse. If you have seven minutes of your life to waste

Blackbird – doing some Winnimaths, suggests it will have had to do another placing within a year

Folks who have never run a company perhaps might not understand that changing your cost base, that is something largely achieved by sacking folks cannot be achieved just like that. By the time you have gone through a consultation process, following the letter of the law and then paid off the folks you are sacking you should assume that you will have paid out about half of your projected annual cost saving.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Oxford Nanopore could halve and I still would not buy

In today’s bearcast I look at Blackbird (BIRD), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and Oxford Nanopore (ONT) I have amended my earlier piece on Monkey and VSA. This is so humiliating, it seems that I really am a shareholder in his awful company although I have no idea why.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: can Kefi ever please ouzo man and the whining shareholders?

Enjoy the heatwave, it is still raining here in Greece. I have done a podcast on that and on the BBC’s claim that the Hellenic Republic will soon be a desert HERE. Then it is onto Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Wandisco (WAND), Blackbird (BIRD), Eden Research (EDEN) and Invinity (IES), currently being ramped by Andrew Monk in Canada.

Blackbird spaffs ten grand a day: 6 nil to the Cockney Boys, Malcolm Stacey you’re not singing anymore, etc, etc

I am sorry to sound a bit like a football yob but West Ham’s storming start to the season brings out the worst in me. Especially when Malcolm’s oft loved up Blackbird (BIRD) has just served up such utterly piss poor interims. As ever with this “licensor, developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video editing platform” it is all jam tomorrow but cold cabbage water today. If Blackbird is the market leader God only knows how its less “successful” competitors survive.

Blackbird – just when will Malcolm admit that this is a dog?

For almost two years my old friend Malcolm Stacey has been recommending that you buy shares in Blackbird (BIRD). Back in May 2021 the shares were c35p. Today – after more bad news – they are 7p. I warned explicitly HERE that Malcolm should walk away, I still think that he should.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I just don't understand what Malcolm sees in Blackbird?

I start with more ranting about Beechwood Nurseries. Then it is on to: Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) – more blood pressure issues - the Silverwood (SLWD), VSA (VSA), Andrew Monk and Lush scandal, Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT) MGC Pharmaceutics (MXC), Fevertree (FEVR) and then Malcolm’s strange love affair with Blackbird (BIRD) which I cannot fathom at all.
