Valereum and Blubird – this just makes no sense at all and is surely rule breaking?

On June 3rd 2025 Valereum (VLRM) announced that it was to purchase a minority stake costing it $2.5 million in a Delaware based Saas business Blubird Global Inc. It was to buy its stake in tranches with the first cash paid upfront and  “the remaining tranches expected to be completed by September 2025.” So far so good.
