I start with my nettle beer brewing and ShareStock, then move on to Fevertree (FEVR), Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), the greatest joke ever told, IQE (IQE) and Chill Brands (CHLL)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I just don't understand what Malcolm sees in Blackbird?

I start with more ranting about Beechwood Nurseries. Then it is on to: Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) – more blood pressure issues - the Silverwood (SLWD), VSA (VSA), Andrew Monk and Lush scandal, Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT) MGC Pharmaceutics (MXC), Fevertree (FEVR) and then Malcolm’s strange love affair with Blackbird (BIRD) which I cannot fathom at all.

Fevertree – its all about cash for me

The market seems to like today’s full year numbers from FeverTree (FEVR) but then expectations had already been muted. Under-promise and over deliver as the old adage goes. Me? I am an old fashioned sort of chap who does not like companies funding not only their entire ordinary dividend but also a special not from earnings but simply by running down cash. Is that long term smart in this uncertain world?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Diary date 23 September 2023

Put it in your diary now. That is ShareStock 2023. Come on Jimbo you have more than a year to persuade your Mrs to allow you out for the weekend. Courage mon brave! In the podcast I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Parsley Box (MEAL), Fevertree (FEVR) and the greed of Novum, king of the spivs Jon Bellis and Strand Hanson with 2 Standard List IPOs today. No way on earth with that structure will anyone bar the crony capitalists make money from those deals. Coke & hookers all round.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast – Six Flags is the canary in the coal mine

I start  with dire numbers from the theme park operator and what they mean for companies such as MADE.com (MADE), Fevertree (FEVR) and ProCook (PROC). Then I look at the former WPCT (SUPP), Revolution Beauty (REVB) and Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), now a great low risk short, as the price is capped by the death spiral in place. That cap can only move lower.

Made.com and Fevertree and others – don’t wait for the coup de grace!

After Fevertree’s (FEVR) recent profits warning, Lucian Miers says that he has closed his short. Not that he expects the shares to surge higher just that he sees greater opportunities out there for the teddies. I am not so sure.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Pineapple Power is a total fecking disgrace & one for fruitcakes only

In today’s Bearcast I reflect on why it is important to report Eight Capital Partners (ECP) but, more importantly PKF Littlejohn, to the FRC as I have done today. I look at why I don’t look at Direct Line Insurance (DLG), then consider Tortilla Mexican Grill (MEX) but in the same vein Fevertree (FEVR), Cineworld (CINE), Music Magpie (MMAG) and Parsley Box (MEAL). Then I look at Anglesey Mining (AYM) with a hisory lesson stretching back to 4000 BC and words of warning to suckers who may fancy a dabble. Then it is onto the disgrace that is Pineapple Power (PNPL) and all the rogues associated with this shocking promote.

Tom Winnifrith Photo Bearcast: Fevertree and its endangered dividend & bashing the City establishment

I start with some advice from Greece on coping with the heatwave. Then it is Jennings versus Ironveld (IRON) and why – in this case - you really should back Jennings. Finally re Fevertree (FEVR) what do you make of the photo below? And why its dividend should be chopped. And why it is still a short whatever PL suggests.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: falling for a £49 covid test scam

Yes I fell for this scam sponsiored by the British and French Governments ands I mention this in the context of folks getting, wrongly, excited by news today from Novacyt (NCYT). Make no mistake: the covid testing bubble is over. I discuss Fevertree (FEVR) where I predict two more profits warnings – stay short. And then on the vicious attack on Richard Jennings by Ironveld (IRON). Jennings is a litigious fellow so may well be talking to his lawyer. I wouldn’t bother myself but cant think that Ironveld’s board is doing itself any favours with such antics.

Fevertree warns – told y’all, worse still to come

Lucian Miers and I both warned that this would happen as, I think, did the Dark Destroyer Matt Earl. Chris Bailey is a non-drinker and disagreed. Never trust a non-drinker, as my pal Evil Knievil (not a non-drinker) would say. On 19 May Fevertree (FEVR) told us to expect flat FY EBITDA of £63 million to £66 million. Today, less than two months later…..

It is not about the rear-view mirror – add to Fevertree short

Lucian Miers wrote here a couple of weeks ago about Fevertree (FEVR) where he remains short. There may be some people laughing at him as the fizzy drinks group fairly promptly served up a trading statement suggesting that it was on track to meet forecasts. But that is looking in the rear-view mirror. What is important is what happens going forward.

Fevertree – why today’s trading update is good for the bears, even though there is no warning. Yet. Stay short!

Fevertree (FEVR) has issued a trading update, which seems to read well, but the shares are down and will fall further.  Let me explain.

I discuss the latest developments in Ukraine. Then I move on to Fevertree (FEVR), Tern (TERN), Braveheart (BRH), Iofina (IOF)  and the fraud Chill Brands (CHLL) and the bucket shop based maths based on liquidity, or rather the lack of it.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Happy Birthday Big Nose & Aunt Lucy

It is also the D day anniversary and as some folk gather in London to “fight fascism” by attacking the Police. I spare a moment to remember those who really did fight fascism. I will soon starting on a 25-30 lap walk around the Welsh Hovel. that is 25-30 * 1,185 metres. my last big training walk for Woodlarks. It is raining and the wind is up so think of my suffering and for the vast bulk of Bearcast listeners yet to donate please give a tenner or more to help Woodlarks survive HERE. Ed Croft’s Stockopedia lists the top ten AIM stocks to buy including Fevertree, Boohoo and Pan African. I discuss a few issues with such models.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Waiting for Jono & another Gabriel Grego AIM bombshell

My fat, drunken, friend Jono from Zimbabwe arrives at the Welsh Hovel shortly and I shall try not to allow him to lead me astray. I also await Gabriel’s next bombshell dossier I am to publish tomorrow morning. In this podcast I look at the wider implications of the RM2 (RM2) debacle for Neil Woodford, at IQE (IQE), at Fevertree (FEVR) – hat tip Leon Boros – at St James House (SJH) and at Diversified Gas & Oil (DGOC).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Will Jim Mellon's PR man say sorry for chewing my ear off over the Condor spoof - vindicated today

On 6th December I said that a token share purchase by Jim Mellon of shares on Condor Gold (CNR) was a spoof as it was so small for Jim. Moreover Condor was running out of cash and would do a placing within months. Mellon's PR man chewed my ear off. Well hey ho today there was a placing.  A pattern of such spoofs and a subsequent placing has continued. Will I get an apology?  I also look at lessons from Flybe (FLYB) and the non bid, at Fevertree (FEVR) director share sales, at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is also spoofing, 13 Energy (13E) - "you say it best when you say nothing at all " - R Keating.  Then I look at uber dog Golden Saint Resources (GSR) which is leaving AIM and says it wants to go to the Standard List. Lucky Standard List. I also mention our share purchase of more Optibiotix (OPTI). If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Make sure you book a free ticket HERE using the promotional code WINNIFRITH

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Nominate your Dirty Dozen AIM resource stocks to fly

In this bearcast, delayed by more upgrades to my PC from Mr Gates, I look at the appointment of an Oxford contemporary Charlotte Hogg as deputy governor of the Bank of England. Does it really say anything about the advancement of women? Then I discuss growth stocks such as Gary Newman's Fevertree (FEVR) and Boohoo.com (BOO), Finally I ask for your help please as I assemble a dummy portfolio of AIM Resource dogs just to see if market sentiment is so crazy that they fly. I nominate Golden Saint Resources (GSR) and Xtract Resources (XTR) now please can you nominate another ten dogs by noon Monday 13th?
