Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Ocado can you smell burning bear paw?

I suspect that Ocado (OCDO) is even more overvalued after today's share price surge on the Kroger deal - it goes to show the dangers of shorting anything other than an outright fraud in the current climate. I look at the FOBT news - Nanny State gets more and more bossy every day. I look also at Mothercare (MTC), Foxtons (FOXT) and WH Ireland (WHI)

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Brexit, data manipulation, hate crimes, house prices & Malcolm talking Foxtons cobblers

I have been doing some work to show that the claims made by the left that Brexit has caused a sharp rise in hate crimes are at best academically flawed and thus unproven and at worst an outright lie. That leads me very directly onto claims made by Malcolm Stacey today on Brexit and house prices as he discussed Foxtons (FOXT) HERE. I take that article apart completely as my old friend is just wrong.

Poor Jocasta & Rupert are going to get fired - Foxtons Profits Warning (blames BoJo)

Oh dear, all those posh kids who were too thick to do anything else and ended up working at upmarket London Estate Agents Foxtons are going to get fired. It is almost P45 time for the young toffs as a dreadful profits warning is out today which, utterly unfairly, blames Brexit. Bloody Boris Johnson. He's not only screwed half the woman in London now he's fucked Foxton's too. The rotter.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Brexit Bollocks from Gary Newman and the stench from Strat Aero & Regent Pacific (i.e Plethora)

I start with a discussion on how the sad events in Yorkshire may sway the Brexit vote before turning to Gary Newman's nonsense earlier today about Brexit, house prices and Foxtons (FOXT). Then it is onto a detailed look at Strat Aero (AERO) and also Regent Pacific, the new owner of Plethora (PLE) and in both cases its red flags ahoy big time.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 16 April

Not hungover and after my first full night's sleep since Saturday I am back with my normal balanced and tolerant view of the AIM casino. Where do I start? Horse Hill, the POS ValiRx, Foxtons, Premaitha, Plethora, Telecom Plus (expect real fireworks on that one from Kevin Ashton on Saturday), Northern Petroleum and China Norfolk Jiasen.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - what is cheap and what is a trading statement?

It seems that I disagree with Comrade Malcolm Stacey once again as I discuss whether a stock on a PE of 22 (Diageo or JD Wetherspoon) can be desribed as cheap. I then discuss what should be in a trading statement looking at Foxtons, Blur and Outsourcery - run by the ghastly Piers Linney - and what this says about shares in all three.

Foxtons still a sell at 158p

Shares in Foxtons (FOXT) have been sliding for a while – the market anticipating that sooner or later London’s poshboy Estate Agent would serve up a profits warning. Last week it duly obliged but even at 158p post warning the shares remain a pretty safe short for Christmas.

The warning was explicit:
