Union Jack Oil and a £1 million loan: is it to fund payoffs when the troughers get fired on 26 June?

On 26 June at the AGM of Union Jack Oil (UJO) , which I shall be attending waving a proxy paper, the three surviving troughers ( David Bramhill, Joe O’Farrell & Zac Philips) will be voted off the board and new boss Craig Howie will immediately terminate the £120,000 consultancy agreements of poodle Philips and snivelling coward and current NED Graham Bull. In that light the company, which claimed to have cash of c£1.5 million at December 31 2025 has just announced that it has taken out a £1 million loan from Egdon Resources. WTF?

A question for David “Trougher” Bramhill with AGM voting guide

Snivelling, cowardly Graham Bull has today resigned as a NED from Union Jack Oil (UJO) while still troughing it as a consultant to the company, blaming my hurty words for his decision. In doing so he avoids being voted off the board at the AGM, which I am attending as a proxy, on 26 June in Bristol. At that AGM his fellow troughers David Bramhill, Joe O’Farrell and Zac Phillips will almost certainly be voted off. However…

Tom Winnifrith bearcast No 1: Snivelling cowardly trougher Graham Bull resigns as a NED at Union Jack blaming TW's hurty words

What a snivelling coward is Graham Bull. I discuss his troughing, his role in the troughing of others, why today's statement is misleading and marks Bull as a coward.

Bristol 26 June 11 AM – we are on!

Paperwork is, as I write, being sorted out to make me a proxy for a shareholder in Union Jack Oil (UJO). Pete “Fagash” Brailey has bought 150 shares. And thus both of us will be pitching up at a posh Bristol hotel at 11 AM on June 26 for the AGM. Does David Bramhill really want this?

The greed of the 80 year olds at Union Jack 2013 -2026 laid bare

The greed at Union Jack Oil (UJO) is off the scale as the table below showing troughings going back to the 2013 IPO shows. Directors David Bramhill, Joe O'Farrell and Graham Bull own less than 2% of the equity. The shares have fallen from an adjusted IPO price of 50p to 3.5p in 13 years. Yet here are the takings of each of them. Its shocking.

Union Jack Oil: the GM battle lines are officially drawn

Would Union Jack Oil (UJO) have followed QCA guidelines and put the whole board up for reelection at the AGM had Craig Howie who owns 9% of the equity not submitted a resolution to that effect? Perhaps. Perhaps not. I showed on Monday how Union Jack claims to follow QCA Guidance but in fact does not.

BREAKING: Union Jack Oil sticks two fingers up to the Quoted Companies Alliance

Trougher David Bramhill and his gang running Union Jack Oil (UJO) into the ground say that they follow the guidelines set out by the QCA with regard to Corporate Governance. But that is demonstrably not true.

Graham Bull of Union Jack Oil & his service contract: another corporate governance shocker

At every level corporate governance at Union Jack Oil (UJO) stinks and that is one reason why costs are utterly out of control and will destroy the company unless Craig Howie manages to sack the board at this summer’s AGM. At the heart of this is 80 year old NED Graham Bull, possibly the highest paid NED on AIM.

BREAKING: Union Jack Oil is sitting on a sack the board EGM Notice!

Natch, trougher David Bramhill has yet to notify shareholders. But my source in the world of City advisors tells me that he is sitting on a legally valid EGM Requisition demanding wholesale change.

EXPOSE: The £75,000 Porsche with personalized number plates bought by cash strapped Union Jack Oil

One of the numerous disgruntled shareholders in Union Jack Oil (UJO) sends me the photo of a Porsche Macan GTS complete with the numberplate UJO4 UJO. I am told that it was bought for cash two years ago and would have set the company back at least £75,000. Clearly it is a depreciating asset. But it gets better.

A correction : I understated the greed of Bull at corrupt Union Jack Oil

I apologise to one and all. 79 year old Graham Bull is not on £120,000 a year at Union Jack Oil (UJO) as I suggested yesterday– that is simply what he is paid as a consultant. He gets another £50,000 on top as a NED fee. Clearly he is not independent and he must be the most overpaid NED on AIM.
