I have been given a massive run around by Barclays (BARC) today and I hate them with a passion. I have also had domestic issues with flooding. I explain all but am in a foul mood. Phil Hammond is not being straight with us in the Budget. He is a knobhead. I explain a few truths you will not hear from him, or indeed the other lot. The only high point of my day was a sweet email from Abbe Aronson - the girl who broke my heart 32 years ago - after this article on the US mid-terms. On 6th December I said that a token share purchase by Jim Mellon of shares on Condor Gold (CNR) was a spoof as it was so small for Jim. Moreover Condor was running out of cash and would do a placing within months. Mellon's PR man chewed my ear off. Well hey ho today there was a placing. A pattern of such spoofs and a subsequent placing has continued. Will I get an apology? I also look at lessons from Flybe (FLYB) and the non bid, at Fevertree (FEVR) director share sales, at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is also spoofing, 13 Energy (13E) - "you say it best when you say nothing at all " - R Keating. Then I look at uber dog Golden Saint Resources (GSR) which is leaving AIM and says it wants to go to the Standard List. Lucky Standard List. I also mention our share purchase of more Optibiotix (OPTI). I start with a trip down memory lane this October 13th. It's back to 1987. can you remember why? Then, if you thought punters in Cloudtag (CTAG) or MySquar (MYSQ) were bonkers ( well they are) then meet Helios & Matheson. This tale will have you in stitches. Unless you are a MySquar moron in which case you will probably see it as an investment opportunity. Then it is onto UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), the Frogs selling and the slump to 2p or less. BTW Lucian Miers is now well in the money and added to his short yesterday. I explain why i3 Energy (i3E) is doomed and will crater soon and also go into the mounting woes of Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR) after this morning's news.

Some companies are so transparent. I look at the RNS from Savannah Resources (SAV), do the maths and predict a placing within weeks. I then crow about one I called earlier, Applied Graphene Materials (AGM). Then it is onto Interquest (ITQ) which is back on the AIM casino thanks to Nomad Allenby, a firm that I take to task for being morally bankrupt. I look at Johnston Press (JPR) which is nothing to do with Luke Johnson who is also mentioned. I then look at Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) and i3 Energy (i3E) as well as the dog Haydale (HAYD)

i3 Energy (13E) floated at 55p earlier this week. Its shares now trade at just 34.5p to sell. Even by the standards of the AIM Casino this has been a god-awful IPO. But it is going to get an awful lot worse.

It was only a couple of months ago, on May 10 - 6 months behind schedule - when wannabee North Sea oil developer i3 Energy (I3E) announced it was to raise up to $50 million as it joined AIM. Since then, as we have noted before, there have been numerous false starts and it was obvious to all concerned - bar Amanda Van Dyke's related party snakefest Glenwick (GWIK) - that the fundraise was in deep merde. Oh yes. Party on bear dudes. This IPO has bombed and the business model is mega-fucked.
