Snubbed at yet another awards ceremony: this time it’s the Chronic Investor

I am gutted. I tell you absolutely gutted. Yet another awards ceremony is almost upon us, a chance for crony capitalists to go to an expensive dinner (ultimately paid for by mug punters like you and me, of course) and say what a jolly good job they are all doing. I was really hoping that I would be nominated at the Investors Chronicle awards on 27 November and now the short list is up. I thought I had a good chance in the category “Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year”

Anexo: tender offer oversubscribed, but the Reverend Weight and Richad Bernstein flag up what a disgrace this is ( as I did 4 months ago!)

Anexo (ANX) today says that shareholders have rushed to take up the 60p tender offer. They want out, they do not want unlisted loan notes controlled by a management team Allan Sellars and his ghastly Mrs Samantha Moss who are obviously prize turds of the highest order. The effective take private backed by DBAY is a shocking abuse of shareholder rights as I flagged up right at the start back in April, particularly in light of industrial scale share dumping at far higher levels by Sellars. It seems that others then came around to seeing eye to eye with old TW.

The Chronic Investor misquotes Muddy Waters on Manolete – fake news!

Bulletin Board Morons are getting a bit excited about this but I am afraid it is fake news. My pal Carson Block slated the accounts of Manolete (MANO) rival Burford (BUR) and so his endorsement of Manolete’s accounts would be a coup. And that is what the IC claims today, stating:
