The metropolitan liberal elitists as the BBC despise the MCC, the private club that owns Lords, almost as much as they despise working class folks who vote for Reform UK. Today is the AGM of the MCC, of which I am a member, and our club wants to flagellate itself for being sexist. The BBC cannot get enough of it, if only the MCC was to admit that it was racist and homophobic too and that it had been damaged by Brexit.

At the height of the Quindell (QPP) scandal I contacted an MP, Sir George Young, now Lord Young, who represented a Hampshire seat so whose constituents were almost certainly directly affected by the fraud happening at Farnham. As he is my step uncle and second cousin once removed I expected a reply and it duly arrived: don’t worry about this I am sure the FCA has it all in hand. Of course, the FCA, despite repeated warnings did not.

My MCC card is in my pocket but I am, again, missing the Lords test on a glorious Saturday. One year... I then take this podcast to the China AIM frauds. I chatted late at night last week to an emerging markets fund manager and thus offer up more thoughts on these frauds. Then it is onto how the 900 companies on AIM that need funding will get it and in this section I look again at valiRx.

Buy a mile one way and a mile and a half the other way we were just inside Northants. And one day I was told by my Uncle Chris (who was staying) and my father that we must all listen to the radio as something historic was happening.
