Okay, I am biased. At 91p I am more than 100% ahead and Amaroq (AMRQ) is my biggest holding but I am not selling as a) I want to maintain exposure to gold and b) I think the shares are very low risk and offer massive upside. My own view is that the company will get taken out at 150p+ next year as gold majors engage in frantic M&A activity. But I am happy to hang on for several years for fundamentals to drive them even higher. If you doubt me, CEO Eldur Olaffson knocks it out of the park in this video out yesterday flagged up by reader K. The key takeaways are:

Amaroq (AMRQ) has announced the commencement of its 2025 exploration campaign, emphasising “active drilling at our flagship gold assets of Nalunaq and Nanoq, and regional work expanding our understanding of the copper, nickel, and rare earth elements opportunities”. That suggests various share price catalyst opportunities in the next few months.

I am not asked but told that something MUST be wrong at Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ) as the shares have fallen back from the recent placing price of 85p to just 74p. The share price does not lie, we have wholly efficient markets which is why Warren Buffett does not exist.

Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ) has announced that sampling at the Eagle’s Nest target 31 kilometres from its Nalunaq gold mine in Greenland has identified two distinct sub-parallel gold veins and gold grades up to 54.5g/t, with “initial geochemical results suggestive of a similar mineralisation style to Nalunaq”. This looks to further demonstrate the exploration, as well as production, potential we’ve been emphasising here. And this is critical for Nalunaq on its own justifies a premium to the current share price but it is the massive exploration potential that will attract potential corporate bidders within a couple of years. The faster Amaroq explores, getting results like these, the more a bidder will have to pay.

A hat tip to reader TP who spotted the amazing photo below on Google earth. I am – as you know – a shareholder in AEX Gold (AEXG) which will be pouring the first gold from here before Christmas. In fact I added to my holding at 57p the other day and see the shares doubling or trebling within eighteen month. Anyhow, enjoy the impressive photo.

On 31st July this year it was “Admission And First Day Of Dealings On AIM” for AEX Gold Inc (AEXG , TSXV:AEX), with founder and CEO Eldur Ólafsson emphasising “a highly exciting moment for AEX Gold, with our successful fundraise allowing us to progress our corporate vision, whilst also providing UK and European investors with the opportunity to be a part of Greenland’s growing gold sector. We now have the financial capacity to push forward to production at our high-grade Nalunaq gold mine together with targeted exploration across our wider gold acreage in Southern Greenland. Our ambition is to become a full-cycle gold mining business of scale in Greenland, with Nalunaq the first project in what we believe could be many from our existing portfolio of gold assets”. But hang on, haven’t we heard of Nalunaq before?…
