In today’s bearcast I discuss Cloudbreak Discovery (CDL) and the relationship between crooked Andrew Male and Novum. Then Predator Oil & Gas (PRD), Cellular Goods (CBX) and some incriminating emails on twitter and finally IOG (IOG) and why Evil Banksta reckons the bond price tells you this is a wipeout.

Today Cloudbreak Discover (CDL) announced a new keep the lights on death spiral. In looking at this I saw that the (interim, following a sudden resignation last month) CEO is Andrew Male. That name rings a bell? Andrew Male, what the f**k is financial adviser Novum thinking? As John McEnroe used to scream “you cannot be serious?”

The David Beckham backed POS Cellular Goods (CBX) has still refused to explain why it has given away 16% of its equity to a crony mate of its founders Bixby & Edwards (who have since IPO dumped all their shares) for a start up in the seaweed to net zero space with no business. And so as it hurtles towards running out of cash by Christmas, it is trying to spoof investors to allow the spivs at Novum to get a bailout placing away. Today there is an obvious spoof.

I start with a few words about how we are trapped up at the Greek Hovel. Then it is onto World Chess (CHSS). Finally the curse of Sir Tony Baldry, the slug like ex Tory MP, is – I sense- about to fall yet again on Westminster Group (WSG).

I pointed out a few weeks ago that Predator Oil & Gas (PRD) run by the troll Lonny Baumgardener and the share dealing just ahead of a placing whizz Paul Griffiths was pumping its shares ahead of an inevitable discounted bailout placing. Call me Mystic fecking Meg. So today Predator has raised £2 million at just 5.5p. But this is not just a straight placing. It stinks. With a hat tip to Evil Banksta let me explain.

In today’s long Bearcast I discuss Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Sosandar (SOS), Argo Blockchain (ARB), Ben’s Creek (BEN), Cellular Goods (CBX) and an IPO from Primary Bid and the spivs at Novum to avoid like the plague: World Chess

I have always warned folks about this company, even before its shares were suspended at 30p last Christmas Eve, giving it a £250 milllion market cap. Others ramped away or took vast fees (bucket shop adviser Novum and PR Chris Lane at Buchanan) step forward. But this was always a failing business drowning in red flags. Today it ‘fessed. Well sort of. It also lied.

Cloudtag (CTAG) was a bulletin board darling which we exposed as a bankrupt fraud on this website numerous times HERE. Eventually the company’s Nomad, Liam Murray at Cairn Financial, arrived at the same conclusion and gave his notice of resignation. However the company then raised £975,000 via broker Novum without telling Novum or anyone else about that resignation. Murray thus resigned with immediate effect and Novum unwound the placing while, with no other Nomad prepared to take on this toxic client, it was booted off the AIM sewer in March 2017.

Shares in Dev Clever (DEV) remain suspended as, after 11 months, the FCA is still refusing to sign off on a RTO prospectus. But that is the least of Dev’s worries, it must surely be bankrupt by now, how about its advisers, those fine fellows at Novum, cobble together an October 31 year end trading statement. Here is the maths:

For disgraced Graham Mullis of (growing as of today) Novacyt (NCYT) infamy, things are going from bad to worse as new shocks emerge at Aquis listed Love Hemp (LIFE).

Put it in your diary now. That is ShareStock 2023. Come on Jimbo you have more than a year to persuade your Mrs to allow you out for the weekend. Courage mon brave! In the podcast I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Parsley Box (MEAL), Fevertree (FEVR) and the greed of Novum, king of the spivs Jon Bellis and Strand Hanson with 2 Standard List IPOs today. No way on earth with that structure will anyone bar the crony capitalists make money from those deals. Coke & hookers all round.

Toople (TOOP) has always been a dog with fleas and anyone owning the shares, down another 28% today to 0.021p has only themselves to blame – the loss since launch is now 99.75%. But today’s statement seems to contain an admission of an obvious and monstrous lie told in an RNS before Christmas. Is low life adviser Novum happy with its clients lying to investors? I suspect it doesn’t care as long as it is paid but I’d hope that the FCA would care.

Shame on bucket shop Novum and on Peterhouse Corporate Finance for acting for Aquis listed Evrima (EVA). It is almost certainly insolvent unless king spiv Jon Bellis can raise it new funds, it is a lifestyle business and it wants to hide the ghastly truth from investors.

This is a major scandal – one that will create massive embarrassment for those operating in the depths of the AIM, Aquis and Standard List sewers. And for Matt Lofgran of Nostra Terra (NTOG), his buddy, Gavin Burnell of the Globo (GBO) fraud, and Novum infamy, it poses a major question of what they knew and when.

Sub scale technology investment waste of space company Vela (VELA) has today announced that it has hired a new PR and IR firm Novum to ramp its shares. Novum, aka my old pal Alan Green, I have a question for you about the gap in the website CV of your boss Brent Fitzpatrick, the one linking him to a convicted fraudster and jailbird.

Poor old Gavin. As if life wasn’t hard enough already for the old scallywag, several people have been in touch to suggest that the violent train hoodlum, flagged up on Twitter below, is, in fact, the colourful financier. Of course, though the hoodlum appears to live in the same town as Burnell, it cannot be him, since Gavin is both an honourable and respected member of the financial community. And thus I must warn him that he has a doppelganger who, like him, lives in Woking, and who, unlike Burnell, seems not quite the true scholar and gentleman.

I warned you in late September, as Tiger Royalties (TIR) published dreadful interims, that the dream team of “Mr Related Party” Colin Bird, London’s worst Nomad Roland “Fatty” Cornish and its spivviest broker John Bellis of Novum would need to do a placing before April Fool’s day or Tiger would be a dead big cat not for bouncing. Things have got worse.

NFT Investments (NFT) is like Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) an investment company listed on the Aquis lobster pot. The chancers who own most of the shares thanks to pre IPO funding at a huge discount to the IPO are the same crew led by Mike Edwards and Jonathan Bixby. Scumbag broker Novum raised most of the cash, £11.2 million for Dispersion and £35 million for NFT. And the connections do not end there.

Maybe I am just a dinosaur. I wrote the same sort of articles back in 2001 asking why a start up company with websites selling masturbating gnomes was suddenly worth £50 million. Of course clever young folks just said I was a dinosaur and that the world had all changed and I did not get it. These days it is NFTs and tokens. I have covered the tawdry Bixby/Edwards/Novum spivs enterprise Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) before but I challenge anyone to explain the business case of its latest investment.

96% of you are yet to get your credit card out. I really do have a Dan Levi in his underpants picture and am not kidding about publishing so please do donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks now HERE. Then it is onto NFT Investments and NFT’s and the scandal I covered HERE. I look at previous bubbles and try to put it into context. All those involved: the promoters Jonathan Bixby & Michael Edwards, scumbag broker Novum and Aquis should hang their heads in shame. They won’t. They are preparing to do it all over again and soon.

Deep Throat has sent Winnileaks 2 confidential presentations for cannabis IPOs c.o low grade brokers Novum and Peterhouse. Novum bats for the Beckham linked Cellular Goods which I exposed here and it is so sleazy it includes a chart of the share price of the Zoetic (ZOE) fraud as a reason to buy. I discuss these companies as well as the Peterhouse play, Spinnaker Opportunies (SPO). If that opportunity knocks, I’ll pass. I look at Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) and discuss the two shares I bought and why: Red Rock Resources (RRR) and AEX Gold (AEXG).

With some folks having paid 8p+ for shares in Xtract Resources (XTR) late last week, today the company did a placing to the sewer dwelling clients of Novum Securities at just 4.5p. The shares are now just 4.8p to sell. Boy those folks suckered in by the Colin Bird ramping must be hurting today. This is so familiar but I did warn you explicitly what the old scoundrel was up to.

Having advised readers to bank big gains on Xtract Resources (XTR), I waited the requisite period and then dumped my own shares, disgusted by the way that Chairman Colin “Calamity” Bird seemed determined to dilute his mug punters in a shameless and un-needed fashion. Today, vindication.

In today’s podcast I consider my dining experience in Chester last night and then look at Carnival (CCL), Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and its jail bait CEO and the 1 question its diehard supporters cannot answer. Moving on I consider Xtract Resources (XTR), Tiger Royalties (TIR) and the loathsome spiv Jon Bellis of Novum who has now pushed me over the edge, I look at Novacyt (NCYT) and TrakM8 (TRAK), once the beau of Britain’s thirstiest share blogger

On the exact occasion of my 7th wedding anniversary I am off to see my father so just a brief bearcast from me. Well quite a long one actually but it is recorded early. I start with Carnival Cruises (CCL), then TrainLine (TRN) and then the stinking nest of vipers that is Asimilar (ASLR), Dev Clever (DEV), All Active Asset Capital (AAA), Mark Horrocks, Chris Akers, Novum and Peterhouse Capital. Hold your noses as you listen.

The note I refer to is from Align on Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV). I agree the shares are cheap. I own some! But are they as cheap as the note suggests? Nope. It is bonkers. I discuss its author and other peak cycle bonkers notes etched in my brain. I look at R4E (R4E) and why you should not follow Fraud. Then at the accounts from troubled broker Novum which came out yesterday. They are truly shocking and get a full debagging from me. I comment on Hammerson (HMSO) and illusory asset values and on Simec Atlantic (SAE) and – en passant – Hurricane Energy (HUR).

Anyway the content is – forgive my conceit – excellent so please book your seat now HERE. I have today, finally, got around to asking the FCA to investigate the covert work being done by unregulated Gavin Burnell of Globo and Beaufort infamy for bucket shop broker Novum. But maybe there is a reason why Novum has to swim in the gutter…it needs the cash so badly.

Earlier today I revealed that Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) was trying to raise $25 million. It could not do it at 1.4p so is now trying at 1.2p and that it has had to rope in bucket shop brokers such as Novum and Cornhill shows that it is struggling. The company has responded but, thanks to Winnileaks, it has dissembled as I demonstrate with an email that has fallen into my hands as you can see below.

In today’s bearast I take a detailed look at Sub Standard list Bermele (BERM) which is over-ramped, dripping in red flags and been pushed by shamed Bulletin Board Moron Aberdeenman. I also explain why I shall, tomorrow, be asking the Met to investigate whether Julie “lingerie on expenses” Meyer and her lawyer Peter McGrath might as a result of this be perverting the course of jiustice as I have news on the FCA’s criminal investigation into Meyer which seems to be ratcheting up. I am not accusing either of this serious crime merely asking the Met to see if something awry is taking place.

In today’s bearcast I cover Optibiotix (OPTI), Vela (VELA), Woodford Patient Capital trust (WPCT), Ascent Resources (AST), Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN), Management Resource Solutions (MRS), Bidstack (BIDS) and Optiva/Novum and a hot City rumour. Also I have a message for 90% of listeners – please be a hero today, my 21 mile training walk for this weekend has been planned so donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE

I have highlighted before the curious way that Gavin Burnell of Globo (GBO) infamy was working at Novum Securities even though the FCA had not re-authorised him to conduct investment business following the demise of Beaufort Securities. All good things must come to an end.

In today's bearcast I bring you a hot rumour. The King of the spiv bucket shops Jon Bellis of Novum is apparently trying to raise £4 million at 10p for Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG). I look at Sound Energy (SOU), Andalas (ADL), delays in selling houses and in a similar vein what IFA's who have put clients into Woodford funds do next. I also look at Gear4Music (G4M) and director share buying which is a sell signal. I make a brief comment on Optibiotix (OPTI) and almost tie it in with a mother-in-law joke but resist the temptation.

Below you will find shameless ramping on twitter from David Lenigas and also a link to BMD's take on the latest shameful RNS from UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) on the "Gatwick Gusher." The language used in the RNS is misleading and what is served up offers no evidence at all that the shares are not grotesquely over-valued. Only a sordid festering boil on the side of AIM such as Nomad Roland "fatty" Cornish could have signed off on this tripe. There is lso a clear signal of m ore discount placings ahead with the appointment of bucket shop spivs Novum as co-broker. that means just one thing. All is explained in this bonus bearcast as I look at the real data offered not the Leni-maths.

That insolvent Andalas Energy (ADL) is undertaking a placing is no shock. It is insolvent with negative net current assets of at least £400,000 but thanks to some fairly sordid share ramping it has managed to raise a gross £1 million at 0.02p. The ramping of shares in this company with worthless assets is pretty unpleasant but what is laid bare in the news is the sheer greed of City advisers notably brokers Novum – of Jon Belliss and Gavin “I made £750k from Globo - Burnell infamy – and Optiva.

I waited until 10 AM before drinking a bit of my father's ouzo in celebration of the Cloudtag (CTAG) take-down described earlier HERE. That is the sort of restrained guy I am. Boy does the ouzo - pictured below - taste great and its only 51 days and I shall be back in Greece for a lot more. Today has been a 100% vindication for The Sheriff of AIM and my fellow bears and the Bulletin Board Morons and fraudsters are now in undignified retreat. I discuss what happens next, have a few new revelations and a few lessons the morons will, no doubt, not learn in this bonus podcast. If you are client of Novum stuffed into today's placing I explain how you can get your cash back.
