On Friday at 4.30 Tern (TERN) announced that it was raising £300,000 on a first come first served basis via PrimaryBid. It would perhaps be fair to say that our extensive coverage of this company has not been universally bullish.

On Friday at 4.30 Provexis (PXS) announced that it had raised £240,000 at 0.5p on top of the £350,000 it raised in May and it has now announced that it had opened the offer out to customers of PrimaryBid. But before you all rush ....

This is a major fund raise by FlowGroup (FLOW). It has most of it in the bag and will raise up to £29 million. This is institutional territory but it is - very decently - letting in Private Punters via PrimaryBid with an offer announced at 5.12 PM today and which closes at 9 PM tonight. The up to £4 million being raised is being done at 1p - the shares closed at 1.1p-1.15p. This is becoming almost routine. After hours on Friday PrimaryBid announces a material placing opportunity for its members. This weekend it is Premier African Minerals (PREM) which is raising £1.5 million at 0.5p.

At the ShareProphets Seminar on 2nd February I did a joint presentation with my pal Anand from PrimaryBid. Anand’s new venture goes live next week and aims to kill off the bucket shops by allowing private investors to supply capital to AIM tiddlers at a discounted price directly.
