Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 2 great pretences

They are that auditors suffer any personal loss if the FRC sanctions them and that death spiral providers go long of shares. In the podcast I discuss Asimilar (ASLR), Dev Clever (DEV), Simec Atlantic (SAE), Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Amigo (AMGO) and Vast Resources (VAST). It goes without saying but I say so anyway: If you are among the 95% PLEASE COUGH UP NOW HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: So, what did I think of the Kefi presentation?

I start with news of flooding in the farmyard at the Welsh Hovel and end with a reminder of podcasting schedules as I head to the Greek hovel.  Then I apologise to Peter Brailey as I cover Simec Atlantic (SAE), Kefi (KEFI), Ince (INCE), Arden (ARDN), Cellular Goods (CBX), Chill Brands (FRAUD), Gatemore fund managers and Sensyne (SENS), Mark Slater and the folly of attempting corporate regime change and Audioboom (BOOM)

Simec – the truth is that it still needs vast amounts of cash

An update today from Simec Atlantis Energy (SEA) showed the sort of unbridled and wholly unjustifiable optimism one would associate with a Norwich City supporter discussing who his team would like to draw in next year’s Champion’s League or my own hopes of hooking up with Britain’s favourite chanteuse, Ms Cheryl Cole. Only at the end of its statement does it mention the problem that makes it uninvestable.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Will Andrew Bell be fired for Christmas?

I start with the wish of Joshua’s best pal to be a sheep in the school play. Like father like son, natch my boy is one of the three wise men. Then I ask if Andrew Bell will be fired at the Red Rock Resources (RRR) AGM before looking at Simec Atlantic (SAE), Feedback (FDBK), the fraud Chill Brands (CHLL) and my next missive to the FCA and British Honey (BHC) where, following up from my earlier piece, it seems an entire family was at the trough.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - yes Boris Johnson is an economic illiterate who screws the poor & why I sold all my MyHealthchecked today

In this podcast ona shortened work day thanks to a still stick Jayarani, I give the five reasons why I sold all my remaining MyHealthChecked (MHC) today. I look at Mercantile Ports and Logistics (MPL), Sosandar (SOS), Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Simec Atlantic Energy (SAE) – well done Peter Brailey – and finally as the economic illiteracy of Boris Johnson as the Tories screw the poor in an inflationary world they only make worse.

Simec Atlantic about to be screwed by the rain sodden post industrial second world country that is Wales – this is a zero

Peter Brailey has explained numerous times on this website why Simec Atlantic Energy (SAE) is a zero in waiting. Its technology is suspect. It is year away from ever generating cash in a best, wildly optimistic, scenario and it has some ludicrous mini bonds which it cannot hope to repay where repayment is coming up fast. But to add to its woes it is now going to be screwed by the Government of land which, by 30 yards, I call home, Wales.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: my money still on a donkey, the dimmest PR going & a refresher on goat milking

I apologise for a late bearcast. I was meeting up with my mentor on goat milking. Meanwhile brave Ian Westbrook is now half way to target to ensure that bully boy Neill Ricketts does not steamroller his second biggest critic - please do donate HERE. After 24 hours I still cannot tell you what shares I will be buying. Maybe on Monday. In the podcast I look at Ptredator Oil & Gas (PRD), Simec (SAE), Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) and  Acceler8 Ventures (AC8) where my take may surprise you.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: We Oxford men are all good fellows but...

I start with a few notes on work at the rain soaked Welsh Hovel and end with thanks to you all as the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks total is almost at £29,000. If you are yet to chip in, how about you get us close to or past £29,000 tonight HERE. Then I discuss Simec Atlantic Energy (SAE), whether fund managers are always right and why they are sometimes out of their depth, Tern (TERN), Kefi (KEFI) and First Derivatives (FDP).

Simec – Timber! Who’s a clever boy then Peter?

I gather that it is ouzo on cornflakes time at Peter Brailey’s this morning as Simec Energy (SAE) shares have gone into meltdown on the back of a disingenuous but unmistakeably bad statement – something clever old Peter predicted HERE. The stench of David Cameron, Lex Greensill and Tory sleaze is at the heart of the problem.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: drilling into the shocking accounts of broker Novum and is this the crazy broker note that marks peak gold madness?

The note I refer to is from Align on Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV). I agree the shares are cheap. I own some! But are they as cheap as the note suggests? Nope. It is bonkers. I discuss its author and other peak cycle bonkers notes etched in my brain. I look at R4E (R4E) and why you should not follow Fraud. Then at the accounts from troubled broker Novum which came out yesterday. They are truly shocking and get a full debagging from me. I comment on Hammerson (HMSO) and illusory asset values and on Simec Atlantic (SAE) and – en passant – Hurricane Energy (HUR).
