The founder of short selling outfit Muddy Waters has told the accursed always wrong FT that he sees a “new dawn” for short sellers. His thesis is that it is not so much the valuations of AI stocks which he, rightly, sees as crackers but the disruption that AI will cause to the corporate world. Thus, I sense, is only half the story.
