Optibiotix: Letter to the Financial Reporting Council

I got a generic email this morning from Optibiotix (OPTI) begging me to gp to the Sweetbiotix tasting and rampfest in London later thus month. It must be desperate. My guess is that, unless the venue is switched to an old fashioned telephone box, the event will not exactly be packed out.  These days most folks holdings are worth less than a Standard Class return to London so why bother to hear Lyin’ Steve O’Hara promise more jam tomorrow on a product where he  promised an imminent commercial launch almost a decade ago?  Meanwhile I have written to my good pals at the Financial Reporting Council about the litany of schoolboy errors in the 2025 accounts which emerged last week.

Optibiotix, the material uncertainty – might a placing be on the cards? More dilution vicar?

I do not know but I speculate.  Optibiotix (OPTI) will publish its results for the year to December 31 at some point in June. History suggests that it will be at the end of the month.

Who do you think you are kidding Mr O’Hara?

It was, as I pointed out the other day, almost ten years ago that Police Time Wastin’Steve O’Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) took to the media claiming that a commercial launch of Sweetbiotix was just around the corner. This time last year O’Hara was in detailed discussions with Pepsi or was it Coke. Who cares if it came to nowt but he got a share placement away.

Optibiotix: Tell me lies tell me sweetbiotix lies

I hope Fleetwood Mac fans get the title. In a posting on the Optibiotix (OPTI)  website last week, Police Time Wastin’ Steve O’Hara made claims about his cash runway which he cannot stand up and which the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation, at my behest, is now looking into. But he also made claims about Sweetbiotix. Police Time Wastin’ Steve said: it was “developing nicely” and that has excited some folks out there.
