I am not certain if the FCA is going to do anything about the Touchstone Exploration (TXP) scandal where the company said it had raised £15,375,000 million on May 8 only to fess up weeks later that brokers led by Keen’s Oak Securities had welched and that in fact it had only raised just over £5 million. With Keen making a series of excuses before the final welching, he created a false market and Touchstone’s balance sheet was left holed beneath the water line. Now it gets worse.

By its own admission, not only is Georgina Energy (GEX) technically insolvent but it has little or no cash left to pay the bills. As at May 31 cash was down to £430,000 a cash spunk of £200,000 pcm since the January 31 year end. Ceteris paribus two and a half months later cash would be minus £70,000. In other words Georgina has only not gigged with the Fat lady by not paying its bills. Laughably this is another company that blames its woes on me and has said it will report me to the FCA!

There is now a £10 million black hole in the accounts at Touchstone Exploration (TXP) and its shares are crashing. Told y'all!!!. Investors were misled about this by the company but also by those responsible for creating that black hole, Oak Securities founded and run by Jerry “oily” Keen and also by Portillion Capital.

It is not a good day for AIM. More scumbag behaviour explains why good companies are rushing to leave the casino. On May 8, Touchstone Exploration (TXP) announced that it “has successfully raised £15.375 million with certain institutional and other investors in the United Kingdom.” Note the tense. It “has”, as in past tense, the deal has been done. Except that is not true. Nomad Shore cap appears to have signed off on a porky. Did it check that the money was in the bank, which it was not?

My guest in this week’s show which is sponsored by Open Orphan PLC (ORPH) is a former editor of this website Flip Flop Ben Turney. We discuss the problems with AIM, New World Oil & Gas, Nostra Terra (NTOG), touching on the mud being slung at Ben by some folks but on the real issues that company faces, on Touchstone Exploration, Big Sofa (BST) and many other matters, notably AIM PLC director expenses. I also discuss companies who switch Nomads too often. Yes that includes Versarien (VRS) and its forced change of today. If you like this podcast and can’t wait seven days for more of the same and are tired of being a cheapskate you should listen to my Bearcast every day.
