Weekend press reports (not in the UK natch as the British press is ignoring this £2 billion City scandal for reasons one can only imagine) suggest that the FBI is now investigating. Already in France there have been arrests including that of the CEO of Areva - Atomic Anne - which bought AIM & TSX listed Uramin for £2 billion and had written all of its assets off as worthless within three years. There is also a major new investigative book out on the scandal due out on Thursday. I am sure my good friend Jim Mellon will be ordering an advance copy. Elsewhere I look at Vislink (VLK), at the train wreck waiting to happen at Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), at Fitbug (FITB) and Cloudtag (CTAG) and then finally at SalvarX (SALV) - placing ahoy on this related party express train to planet hype.

I start with more news on frigana cutting. I am a sweaty wreck after a day of mega slashing as I "take it out" on various folks in the City. Then I cover Asian Citrus (ACHL), Jiasen (JSI) and Taihua (TAIH) before I move onto Johnny Hon and R4E (R4E) then the scams and scum at Golden Saint Resources (GSR) - why won't PR fecking genius Steffi tell us about her shares? Then it is onto doomed Outsourcery (OUT) and then, as we expect more news tonight on Uramin, I ask a few questions about Port Erin (PEBI) another vehicle of my friend Jim Mellon. Oh and there is bad news for a company trying hard to bring jobs and wealth to the grim Northern welfare safaris, DX Group (DX). Moral of the story, let them rot, stick to doing business in the hard working South.

I had a really weird computer snag which threatened to stop play. Luckily pizza hardman Darren Atwater can be a fecking genius and talked me through a solution. After that digression I move onto Uramin, possibly the biggest mining scandal for decades. It moved up a notch yesterday with events in France now moving apace. Oooh er missus. Finally I explain my concerns about Malcolm Stacey's bullishness on Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO). It may well demonstrate many sad truths about how new tech often plays out.

The sale of AIM & TSX listed Uramin to France's Areva is shaping up to be the biggest scandal in the world of mining since Bre-X. It has almost brought down Areva and in France the husband of the head of Areva has already had his collar felt within the past few weeks for insider dealing and money laundering. Our source at the heart of the investigation indicate other arrests are imminent. And the scandal is also threatening to bounce back to the AIM casino.
