Obviously the big news today is on lavender. But I move swifty on to discuss the failings of the Standard List as exposed by Supply@ME Capital (SYME) in today’s shocker. Then I look at Xtract (XTR) where I confuse Panettone with Panna Cotta but flag up what is going on. Then it is Iofina (IOF), Online Blockchain (OBC) and finally Verditek (VDTK) where Tory Toff Lord Willetts needs to follow my lead and come clean ASAP.

After his role in anabling the fraud at Sefton Resources (SER), including in smearing the UK’s top investigative journalist, Dr Michael Green should NOT be working in financial services. You know my views. But he is. and his job these days seems to be penning bonkers research notes on small mining stocks setting insane share price targets which are multiples of the current share price. You may remember his classic piece on Bluebird Merchant (BMV) where the target – and I say this as an enthusiastic sharenholder – was just insane. Then there was a classic on the worthless James Parsons POS Ascent. His latest note is on Xtract (XTR) where he predicts profits of 500% for those buying the shares. If you enjoy a piece of badly wfritten fiction and don’t have a Jeffrey Archer to hand, the note is below.

I start with a few other comments on Greek Hovel matters. Then I move on to talk about three companies which I shall be or are discussing with the FCA: Zenith (ZEN), Eqtec (DOG), and Verditek (VDTK). Then onto NatWest Group (NWG) where I apologise for my bad language. Finally my thoughts on the gold price and comments on gold stocks I own: Centamin (CEY), Ariana (AAU), Kefi (KEFI), Bluebird Merchant (BMV), and Xtract (XTR).

After today's twitter harassment from Yusuf Kajee of Afriag (AFRI) I was rather reminded of the Spitting Image classic below. But it's a lie. I had a good chat with Jan Nelson of Xtract (XTR) who is a nice South African and I offer a few thoughts on his company and explain why our podcast interview will be in a few days. The it is onto LGO Energy (TOAST) and Jabba The Hutt ramping, Stanley Gibbons (SGI), Premier Oil (PMO), Independent Oil & Gas (IOG) and the China frauds. I also mention the new vehicle of Andrew "piggy" Austin of IGAS Infamy which Nigel takes apart HERE. He is not a South African but should be.
