‘Smart sensing and software company’ Oxford Metrics (OMG) issued a trading update in April including a headline “improved year-on-year performance”. That suggests profit progress this year, whilst the prior balance sheet showed, excluding ‘goodwill and intangible assets’, net assets of £42.7 million including cash of £37.3 million. At a 45.9p offer price, £51.4 million market cap, the following is why we consider this a patient ‘penny shares’ value and income Buy.
