Royale Parks Administrators report - a damning indictment of ICG Longbow

When I first raised numerous red flags about ICG Longbow (LBOW) the major one was the carrying value of its exposure to Royale Parks Ltd. Natch it dismissed my report in a patronising RNS. Now Royale is in administration and what the Administrator has to say suggests that it was my red flags dossier rather than ICG’s dire rebuttal that was bang on the money. Enjoy.

Meli and Ouzo on my cornflakes – British Honey goes bust

Three years and five days after listing on the Aquis lobster pot after raising £4.25 million at 110p British Honey (BHC) has today gone bust and appointed administrators. I warned that it was “uninvestable” when the shares were 114p in October 2021. Today it is game over. As I consider honey and ouzo on my cornflakes, the list of warning signs were there for all to see. Natch folks knew better than Old Tom.

I have contacted Pello and can reveal that it is not yet in administration but will be tonight. Smith & Williamson will be doing the last rites.

Back from the dead Iconic Labs – relisting soon?

Iconic (ICON) is looking to be the corporate equivalent of Lazarus.  Administrators were appointed on 4 June 2021 and its shares were suspended on 7 June 2021 but incredibly there are now signs of life. At 4.50 pm on 1 November 2022, Iconic issued the following text in a RNS titled “EHGOSF Subscribes to a £150,000 Second Tranche Under £3 Million Financing Facility”:

VINDICATED AGAIN: Made.com – it is over now: Administrators appointed

While the brokers told you to fill your boots with shares in Made.com (MADE) after its £775 million IPO last June, I warned you again and again that this would end badly, as you can see HERE. Made featured prominently in my 2022 ShareStock presentation. This company never had one profitable year in its 12 year existence and now as it calls in the administrators, shareholders have lost everything and the recriminations begin, led by establishment knobhead Brent Hoberman who founded this crock.

Made.com – another nail in the coffin: company talking to administrators yet?

I wonder how top brokers value Made.com (MADE) these days? Meanwhile back in the real world we have another nail in the coffin.

Iconic Labs – is it finally game over for the shareholders and a win for toxic David Sefton?

I haven’t written about Iconic (ICON) since 10 January 2022 when I wrote “Still on life support, toxic Dave Sefton will, shockingly, get away with everything”. Well, based on the following statement published by the Administrators yesterday that appears to be the case:

Winnifrith Vindicated yet again, Petropavlovsk – The fat Lady to sing on Monday

Petropavlovsk (POG) was obviously aware that I was driving across France on Tuesday and distracted by the most stressful of episodes, as it took the chance to suspend its shares and say that it would appoint administrators while I was distracted. Today it said that the hearing in the Courts to settle the administration is scheduled for Monday. As the fat lady warms up there are three key takeaways from someone who predicted this on March 4 HERE.

UPDATED McColls shares suspended having gained 53% - just how crazy is that as administrators appointed?

At 12.25 PM today embattled retailer McColls (MCLS) asked for trading in its shares to be suspended after they had gained 52%on the session to 1.75p. Trades were really going through at close to that price as “savvy” retail, investors BOTFD. Crazy.  Minutes later McColls announced it was going into administration. Only yesterday the company warned about press speculation, noting:

The High Street Grp – the monumental scale of the deficit starts to become clear

On 15 February 2021, the administrators of High Street Grp filed its statement of Joint Administrators Proposals. I hope that the FCA which ignored our numerous warnings on what could be the largest mini bond scandal ever, a more than £200 million black hole, feels truly ashamed about what we discovered.

Iconic Labs –will it be game over on 8 December 2021?

BREAKING: The High Street Grp – Notice of Intent to appoint administrators, another mini-bond disaster the FCA did nothing about

I first wrote about the High Street Group 575 days ago, explicitly warning that it would go bust  It was the sixth mini bond scheme I had written about. Five have gone tits up. Natch the institutionally useless FCA has ignored my oft repeated warnings about The High St Grp, as it ignored my warnings about the other five mini bond disasters I flagged up, And High St has conducted business as usual. But that looks about to end.

Chilango goes tits up – Covid is just the excuse, I did warn you all this was an insolvent mini-bond ponzi

The deadwood press is today noting that, Mexican restaurant chain Chilango, is about to appoint RSM Tenon as administrators with Covid 19 once again getting the blame. But is that fair on the poor little virus?

Mothercare to shut its 79 UK stores and sack 2,500 workers: Quelle fecking surprise!

It was only a week ago that on orders from the evil PR spinners at Mothercare (MTC) the Sunday Times was running a puff piece about how the company was bringing in “restructuring experts” to look at its 79 UK stores (having shuttered another 55 in a CVA not that long ago) which racked up losses of £36 million last year. How time flies for the discredited deadwood press. Today Mothercare has called in the administrators for its UK stores.

BREAKING - 700 Beaufort clients to lose money - all client funds frozen till September or later

Nearly all clients of Beaufort Securites, now in adminstration, will end up losing nothing but will not get their cash and shares back until September at the earliest. But for 700 of the largest customers the news is not so good. They have today been told that their FSCS compensation, which is capped at £50,000, will not be enough to offset the steep charges being levied against client accounts by greedy fat cat administrators.

FairPoint to go bust, three lessons to learn and a classic outburst from the UK's top share blogger

First up I must congratulate Paul Scott for sticking with and, I think averaging down, on Revolution Bars (RBG) which earlier this week received a tentative 200p share offer. Paul was right and I was wrong. It happens. I guess my, almost teetotal existence and his extensive field work gave him the edge. Only kidding - it was a great call by Paul and one orf the reasons why he is such a great share blogger. I am sure his session with Nigel Wray at UK Investor 2018 (as well as his live bearcast with me) will justify attendance on its own. But just as a reminder we do not get it all right, here is a classic Scott twitter outburst, regarding Fairpoint (FRP) which said that it would be calling in administrators today.

Milestone Group – How long before it must call in the administrators?

Milestone’s (MSG) interim results today were truly appalling as it racked up a loss of £1.1 million. The statement about the "progress" of its range of sub scale crap businesses is - as ever - upbeat. Read the words and you think this company must have done brilliantly. And then you look at the P&L buried beneath the acres of spin and you see that sales in the six months to March 31 2017 were just £22, 237. Down by 56% on the prior year and just pitiful. The ice cream van parked in my street just now generates more sales than this POS which has no right to be on the AIM Casino at all. It gets worse...

Dragon's Den Star Piers Linney sends £21 million of other folks cash to Money Heaven

The PC Gauleiters at the BBC could not get enough of Dragon's Den star Piers Linney: black, working class, Northern, worth £100 million. Ab fab. All he needed to do was come out of the closet and chop his leg off and he would have been the perfect Royal Flush. The only thing was that his CV was not er...true. And documents filed by administrators to formerly AIM listed Outsourcery (OUT) show just what a Walter Mitty figure Piers was. Or maybe it was just BBC lies all along. Pravda does have form after all.

Gable - sneaks out last interims before administrators appointed, tries to polish a turd

At 2.30 PM on deadline day, Friday, disgraced insurance outfit Gable (GAH) published its results for the six months ended 30 June 2016 and they were true to recent form - that is to say total Turkish. William Dewsall, Chief Executive commenting on the results stated the horseshit spin, our ShareProphets translation is in bold.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Special: How did Nomad Allenby sign off on Servision interims - it is bust, broke, worth 0 fecking pence

Not only does AIM Casino piece of Turkish Servision (SEV) now have the most expensive loan in AIM history - see HERE - but this company is also utterly bust. Amazingly Nomad Allenby and broker Belfort Securities have signed of on its results today. Shame on you chaps. You may not be able to read financial statements but I can and so talk you through why this company could call in the administrators as soon as this afternoon. Target price 0p.

Environmental Recycling - New Direction Discussions End, now surely time to talk to the administrator

Back on 30 October 2015 long suffering shareholders in Environmental Recycling (ENRT) were promised a change of direction, a new beginning. Having seen its shares plunge from 150p, when it sent me a barrage of lawyers letters for pointing out that it was a total fraud back in 2005, to just 0.05p today the punters must have had some hope at last. But today Environmental ( formerly 3DM) fessed up. As disgraced Michael Walters who has tipped this piece of Turkish for 14 years and who told his readers to report me to the FSA for exposing the fraud, would say "oh dear, oh dear".

Motive TV appoints administrators - the great journey of value destruction is over

The only shock is that this took so long but today Motive TV (MTV) has announced that it is all over. It has appointed administrators. It is tits up time. Of course the day Motive shares were suspended on the AIM Casino this was bound to happen. This was a farce...whereby crony capitalists and City parasites screwed stupid private investors. Bring out the piano wire for the crony capitalists and neuter anyone who bought shares in Motive TV so "stupid genes" are eradicated from the population.

Globo – Administrators called in it is a wipe-out

Roger Lawson famously suggested, on the ShareSoc website  that he and other shareholders in Globo (GBO) might go in and assist the board. I guess his services won’t be needed now because it is all over. A duff call by Lawson and yet another win for the bears he attacks so often.

Phones 4 U Goes Bust – Folks talk retail rubbish

The administrators are in, 550 stores will not open today and 5,500 jobs are at risk – Phones 4U is going bust. And folks are talking a load of rubbish about what happened and blaming evil corporates for all sorts of matters, utterly unfairly.

Essentially Phones 4 U has no product to sell any more. Both Vodafone and EE have opted to stop using it as a middleman so the stores now have “No phones 4 U.” For the Venture Capitalists at BC Partners who spunked away £600 billion buying a majority stake in this firm in 2011 from another VC who bought it from founder John  Caudwell for £1.5 billion in 2006, welcome to an easy lesson about retailing “if you are merely a reseller from monopoly or oligopoly providers you have no power.”
