Tennyson raised another £41 million for The Smarter Web Company (SWC) yesterday at 290p. That will have earned it c£2 million in commission which will pay for an awful lot of time with young ladies from Ukraine with ample supplies of Colombia’s finest marching powder to keep the party going. The shares are just 209p.

The history of Anglesey Mining (AYM) is one of pump, dump, pump, dump, rinse and repeat. Whether involving bent BBC journalism or dodgy promoters it is always the same. At the heart of the promote has always been the fantasy that Parrys Mountain copper mine which shut down in 1904 might, somehow, be reopened. It is a fantasy right up there with mine about Cheryl Cole but it has lured in mug punters again and again. While I stay true to the Geordie Nightingale, today Anglesey has a new fantasy.

In today’s Bearcast I look at Chill Brands (CHLL), MusicMagpie (MMAG), Vast Resources (VAST), Eurasia Mining (EUA) and the bent and corrupt world of paid for research, Supply@ME Capital (FRAUD) and Regtech Open (RTOP) asking when will the taxman pull the plug, Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) and Optibiotix (OPTI)

I flagged up that shocking journalism of eight days ago by Jo Hart of the Midas column HERE. But so far her call looks inspired and I look like a schmuck who has received numerous lawyers letter from Eden Research (EDEN) for exposing its numerous historic frauds. Oddly it never went beyond the “bully and harass” stage.

I start with Kanabo (KNB), Oxford Cannibanoid (OTCP) and Cellular Goods (CBX). Who on earth would write them up as the three pot stocks to buy. They are all utter dogs facing looming cash crises. Meet Bethany Garner. I then discuss Victoria (VCP) after this bombshell. Then Gary’s death wish, not as a Euroloon, but in considering buying Revolution Beauty (REVB). Then Ariana (AAU) and why its shares continue to drift. I start with news of a last minute cancellation here in Greece. If you fancy a last minute luxury break drop me an email. Anyhow it means a more leisurely drive back for me starting, I think, on Monday.

Octagonal (OCT) CFO’s is Nilesh Jagatia a strong contender for the worst CFO of an AIM company. No I lie. As we have demonstrated over and over again, he is not only useless but, almost certainly, bent as well.

Okay this is not a slam dunk pig and pork like the one that enabled the really dodgy IPO handled by bent broker JM Finn, bit it seems that every "deal" announced by First Derivatives (FDP) now has to be examined to see if it is what it purports to be. Following on from the “contract win” with Red Bull Racing, which appears to be more akin to a sponsorship deal, another “contract win”, which should bear much closer scrutiny is the one with NASA.

The City of London Corporation is unlike any other local authority. It is democratic in the loosest sense of the word. It is hugely rich and very powerful and, as such, it is rare that anyone in the Square Mile is stupid enough to stick his or her head above the parapet and ask what is going on. But today Andrew Monk of VSA Resources aks for trouble and writes...
