Chatting to my IRA pal about the EU punishment beatings of we Brits

Where my DNA comes from Sinn Fein and the IRA are seen as one and the same so he is known in this household as my pal in the IRA. Certainly he is proud of its actions – he celebrates the killing of British soldiers, something his forebears took part in. But, given the timing of the arrival of my family in his home county of Donegal (the 1650s), we know not to go chat about such matters. He knows that I wear an Ulster rugby shirt and we have much else to discuss anyway. Yesterday, he called to tease me about problems with Brexit, kicking off with Dutch customs officials seizing the ham sandwiches of British lorry drivers.

CEO of Fishing Republic lasts minus 1 days before company goes bust is that a record?

On 27th September the joke company Fishing Republic (FISH) announced that it was “pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Quinn to the Board as its new Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 17 October 2018.” Today, 16th October the company fessed up that it was bust. No need to clear your desk Danny Boy, in fact no need to buy cakes for the staff on your first day at work tomorrow. At least your CV won't need much touching up. Is this a record: Minus 1 days from appointment to an AIM tits up? Darren - make my ouzo a double!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Frontera Resources is quite simply bust, it is that simple

First things first. If you want free booze, canapes, a chance to see me rip Dominic Frisby apart on blockchain and bitcoin and to hear presentations from and quiz Falanx (FLX) and Premaitha (NIPT) then book a seat for 16 October in central London HERE. In the podcast I look at the madness of Corbyn once more in relation to the Natural rate of Unemployment in a non broken economy. I add to my earlier comments on troughery at Frontera (FRR) HERE by showing it is bankrupt. I cover Concepta (CPT), Fishing Republic (FISH), the Widecells (WDC) scandal and Wolf Minerals (WLFE).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hell's teeth Lucian says it is actually 33 miles! IQE - I smell panic & Rangers' Dave King Court date

Brokerman Dan has been replaced as the maps man on our Woodlarks Charity walk on Saturday. Perhaps we now know why in his former career he did not always get away. For it turns out that the walk is not 32 miles but 33. Lucian has mapped it out in full. Cripes. We now need just over £2,000 to reach our £20,000 target so if you have not yet sponsored me please do so HERE. Get us to target & I will shut up about it. In the podcast I look at IQE (IQE), Rangers FC and another date in court for Dave King, Thirsty Paul Scott not understanding what research means & wanting me not to cover Sosandar (SOS), Cenkos (CNKS), ADVFN (AFN) and Online Blockchain (OBC), Highlands Natural Resources (HNR) and Fishing Republic (FISH) which, I think, is AIM toast in waiting

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: time for Cabot, Fishing Republic & Frontera to 'fess up!

The great news is that our Woodlarks walk has now reached 57% of its sponsorship target. I'll do another training walk this afternoon with Joshua so as we do a quick march how about you check out the latest incredibly generous donations here and chip in yourself? In a long bearcast I cover Tesla (US:TSLA), Fishing Republic (FISH), Kibo (KIBO), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) as lyin' Steve does the right thing - Frontera (FRR), Conroy Gold (CGNR), TrakM8 (TRAK), Avanti (AVN) and Cabot Energy (CAB). PS Wasn't the football incredibly exciting and a source of such joy? I view myself as British, not English but go on Eng-er-land!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Okay I look a bit of a prat but Optibiotix buy case stronger than ever

In today's podcast I look at Falcon Media (FAL), Avanti Communications (AVN), Echo Energy (ECHO), Fishing Republic (FISH) - Gary Newman can you help us out here, Woodford dog Xeros (XSG) and Optibiotix (OPTI). Now the Woodlarks charity walk. We have now raised just over £4,000 (nearly £5,000) with gift aid. A big shout out to Mark McDowell who pledged £666 yesterday (clearly a reference to Brokerman Dan). But 97% of Bearcast listeners are yet to chip in, I am sure you can all spare a tenner so please donate NOW HERE. To those who have donated already, thank you.

Reloaded: Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - my new fecking phone is the shepherd of Porlock, apologies & a P45 for Darren Atwater

Version 2. Darren cut off 6 minutes of the podcast first time around. I am a nice guy. I will not fire him...until Monday. After many years I have upgraded from a Nokia brick to a sort of smart phone but I cannot work out how to answer calls or indeed shut it off or put it on silent. So in this podcast it very much plays the shepherd of Porlock.  In the podcast itself I discuss my domestic arrangements ahead of the return of the Mrs and a weekend with the mother-in-law ( some of us have all the luck) then look at TrakM8 (TRAK), RM2 (RM2), Online Blockchain (OBC) and reminisce about Sefton (SER) and Jimmyliar Ellerton, prompted by a long chat with Brokerman Dan last night. In detail I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) which looks, to me, an increasingly sick puppy. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Make sure you book a free ticket HERE using the promotional code WINNIFRITH.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Fishing Republic talks a load of carp and a truly spivvy share tip for you all

Buried in this podcast is a quiz question - in what respect is my son Joshua ( aged 16 months) ahead of more than a third of millennials. The answer is at the end of the podcast. I deal again with a woman who thinks citing folks who send death threats to investigate journalists ( i.e. me) gives her a basis for smearing me. I refer of course to Julie Meyer, a woman branded borderline hysterical by a Judge  a few years ago.  I discuss the placing by Fishing Republic (FISH) and its accompanying statement. It is talking carp. Is that a deliberate typo? I look at Filtronic (FTC), have news on Milestone (MSG) it does not want you hearing and comment on Scancell (SCLP) in a way that may annoy its long suffering shareholder Nigel Somerville. Finally I have an uber spivvy share trip for you all.

Tom Winnifrith bearcast - knock me down with a feather

I discuss the slew of retail trading statements. At a company level this podcast covers Card Factory (CARD), Lombard Risk Management (LRM) and Fishing Republic (FISH) where today's RNS is very er...fishy.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - when you are a proven fraudster anything you say must be suspect

In today's podcast I reflect oin how good it is to be back at home with my son and heir Joshua causing me sleep deprivation and Oakley the cat pissing on the doorstep. I end with my battles with Bath Spa which continue but I have an invitation which would allow me to go National on it if BS does not do the right thing.  I explain this. The meat of the podcast covers MySquar (MYSQ) - the fraudtsers - and Julie Meyer MBE, Mothercare (MTC), Conroy Gold (CGNR) and Prospex Oil & Gas (PXOG). Finally I have a question or two for Fishing Republic (FISH)  about its acting CEO

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - which retailer will go bust first after a dire Christmas

The Boxing Day high street sales data was poor but what does this one set of data mean?  There are bigger macro trends which should fill retailers with fear, I discuss Patisserie Valerie (CAKE), Debenhams (DEB), Mothercare (MTC) and Fishing Republic (FISH) , three of four of which will go bust.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - I just don't get the Provexis valuation at all and another question for Neil "nomates" Woodford

Star Wars beckons. Happy days. Ahead of that I discuss Stanley Gibbons (SGI), Provexis (PXS), Fishing Republic (FISH), Inspirit (INSP) and have some more questions for Neil "nomates" Woodford.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - UKOG serves up more Horse Shit on Horse Hill

I am still in a foul mood. Bah fucking humbug. The season of Goodwill is cancelled. This podcast contains a lot of bad language. I look at blockchain madness: Coinsilium (COIN), On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA) and Longfin (US:LFIN) on Nasdaq. Buy why is Milestone (MSG) missing out?  Well Larry Cummins is a liar and that is just for starters. I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) where a statement is needed and then there is a detailed look at the latest horse served up by Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is a stand out slam dunk sell for reasons I explain in detail.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: African Potash is now Block Commodities Limited... whatever

It is hard to know what to say about the latest news from African Potash (AFPO) so I present its latest release to you in full below. Fan-bloody-blockchain-tastic. Elsewhere I comment on BCA Marketplace (BCA), Torotrak (TRK0, Optibiotix (OPTI) and Fishing Republic (FISH)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: More reflections on UKOG & Falanx as I pine for Greece and the fit young mums

Sadly illness is still rife in this house so for this Thursday it is no coffee for me with the fit young mums. At least I shall be in Greece in five days time and that must be restorative to my health. In this podcast I start by looking back on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and its death spiral. I explain exactly how it works. Then a few further thoughts on Falanx (FLX) and why I am not selling our shares at this price. Then I look at Alexander Mining (AXM), another mega spoof from Clem Chambers, this time at ADVFN (AFN),  at "Nomates" disaster RM2 (RM2)Fishing Republic (FISH) - a good zero bet -  and at Regal Petroleum (RPT) which seems to be in a spot of bother in Ukraine.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast:Things that piss me off big time about the Concepta placing although the shares are dirt cheap

I am hard at work preparing for my annual treat of lecturing the snowflake sociology students of the Mrs, as a break from the normal Guardian reader behind the lectern they have me tomorrow. Game on.  I cover utterly worthless shite that is roofing it, notably Mayan Energy (MYN) and Cogenpower (CGP).  I point out that in the end gravity reasserts itself - see Servision (SEV). I lament what went wrong and how it could have been avoided at Fishing Republic (FISH) and BOS Global (BOS). I suggest what useless Mrs May should do on Brexit and then look at the Concepta (CPT) placing. The shares - which we own - are now dirt cheap. But I am still well fucked off with various aspects of today's £2 million placing as I explain.

Fishing Republic- the maggots are only just starting to emerge - a retail zero in waiting

When Fishing Republic (FISH) joined the AIM Casino at 15p in June 2015 it published an admission document bulging with red flags which I pointed out in numerous articles HERE. But brokers Northland pumped the stock shamelessly up to well over 40p to get away more placings. But today the shit hit the fan with a shock (lack of) profits warning but the maggots are only now starting to emerge. At 22.5p this is a zero in waiting.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Staring down the barrel - just one week left for the bailout placings

I am just so tired after day 4 of the olive harvest. You can see today's report - into the lair of the snake - HERE. In this podcast I cover: Cloudtag (CTAG), Strat Aero (AERO), Andalas (ADL), the CFD firms and the FCA, notably Plus 500 (PLUS), African Potash (FRAUD), Corero (CNS), Inspirit (INSP) and Fishing Republic (FISH).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - how much does a fishing rod cost?

I ask that question just to make a point about discretionary consumer spending and as part of a discussion about Fishing Republic (FISH). I also cover Domino's Pizza (DOM),  Biome (BIOM), Foxtons (FOXT), EasyJet (EZJ) as well as more post Brexit coverage following up on points made at the weekend HERE

Fishing Republic – Meaningless Gibberish from the can of maggots

A trading statement today from joke company Fishing Republic (FISH) does nothing to dispel the idea that this is little more than a well spun can of maggots. Good try Fishing on sneaking out this gibberish when I am in New York on global shorting conspiracy business. Sadly for you I’m in the City that never sleeps and when in Rome…

Fishing Republic – now the maggots really start to emerge

I have already demonstrated how AIM listed Fishing Republic (FISH) has inflated reported profits by ignoring related party property costs HERE and how the valuation is a rum and coke HERE but now the real maggots are starting to emerge.  With thanks to reader David, I conclude that this company is a shocker and simply not investment grade material.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - analysing UK Oil & Gas and More fishiness at Fishing Republic + foxy legals update

On today's podcast I discuss why the looming battle in the High Court is so important and why the morons cheering on Julian Hamilton Barns against my foxy legal team prove themselves morons for doing so. Then onto Fishing Republic (FISH) with more fishiness revealed followed by Gulfsands Petrolem (GPX), Sefton Resources (SER), Capital Lease Aviation (CLA), Record (REC), Auhua (ACE) and finally a long piece on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), analysing it - something its moronic bulletin board cheerleaders patently fail to do.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Special - Fishing Republic, valuation is er....fishy

Thanks to Paul Scott for his help on this one. I know that Gary Newman is a fan but I just do not get Fishing Republic (FISH) at all - the red flags are now highlighted. The Crony Capitalist City parasistes trousered fees of £550,000 ( two years after tax profits) from a £1.5 million fund raise at IPO (with directors pocketing £106,000) but I somehow suspect investors will not propser with this AIM casino chip.
