I have noted before how Delta Gold (DGQ) has a bonkers valuation: even off its peak at 142.5p it is still capitalized at £92 million though it has a pitiful and dwindling cash reserve and no actual product. But it is being ramped by every spiv on social media, the sort of folks who often take undeclared payments and passes off paid for “research” as independent endorsement. A reader flags up that Quantum Blockchain (QBT) appears to be having a few problems with its patent applications in the US. My reading of the most recent setback, which Quantum has yet to respond to via RNS, is that the patent office seems to think that the IP has no distinictive features at all, it is essentially worthless. But maybe I do not really understand what is going on.

If Powerhouse Energy (PHE) was a serious company it would have gained patent protection for its IP many, many, years ago in its long and inglorious career on AIM. But it is not. And so today it announces with great fanfare that it has been notified by the European Patent Office that the Company’s European Patent Application No 20751207.0, “Method and Apparatus for the Treatment of Waste Material”, will be fully granted on the 11 October 2023. Hold the fucking front page.
