Red Rock Resources Part 2: just how screwed has our beloved company become: something massive Andrew Bell is not flagging up, another Fatty Cornish disgrace

Earlier today I flagged up how we morons, aka loyal shareholders in Red Rock Resources (RRR) had been screwed over yet again by Andrew Bell as he has done yet another placing, raising £500,000 at just 0.075p. This company really has had more placings than I have had inappropriate thoughts about Cheryl Cole. Okay, not that many but a lot! However, readers point out that Mr. Bell appears to be playing fast and loose with the truth, when it comes to how the moolah, call it £465,000 after costs, will be spunked. Sorry I meant spent.

Rumours of two placings FWIW

I have been bearish on both stocks and have no proof but in both cases the companies could do with some other people’s moolah to spaff. Hence the placing rumours which merit a statement in both cases are:

Two matters of great interest to PrimaryBid followers

I am a fan of PrimaryBid. It allows ordinary punters like you and I to take part in placings hitherto reserved for City insiders. So everyone should sign up HERE. But there are two pieces of news today.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Concepta EVERYTHING that is wrong with AIM Casino Placings on display

We own shed loans of shares in Concepta (CPT) and they are, in my view, still cheap. But today's placing fills me with utter disgust and makes me so angry as I explain in full. The image below is from the Boots website.

Versarien - another Primary Bid after hours Friday opportunity - sign up now, Sunday 5 PM deadline

This is becoming a regular Friday feature - an after hours offer from Primary Bid for increasingly credible placings. The last one was Ascent at 1.85p - its shares, 3 weeks later, are 2.375p which is great news for our readers who took part. Next up is Versarien (VRS) which is raising £1 million at 15p.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: 2 massive rule changes AIM MUST make in the wake of the Cloudtag scandal & the issue of blame

I know some folks want to blame others if they have lost money on the Cloudtag (CTAG) fraud. Well it is fair to hold some to account and make adverse comments and some folks should be doing a perp walk. But ultimately we are all accountable for our own trades whether winners or losers. Moving on this debacle has raised issues which call for two MASSIVE changes to the AIM Rule book: the announcement of Nomad departures and the disclosure or banning of placings based on T+ trades. PS Does anyone have an address for Cloudtag ramper David Greece. Please post in the comments section below in case I get bored and find myself in his locality.

Cloudtag - why the shares are suspended: a ghastly silence from Novum, here is the sordid detail

Why were Cloudtag (CTAG) shares suspended yesterday? I answered that in part HERE but can now add more detail. Welcome to the ghastly and murkeyand sordid world of T+10 placings.

Ascent Resources £3m fund raise shows PrimaryBid has come of age - why aren't you signed up?

You know that I am a massive supporter of Primary Bid as it gives ordinary punters the chance to take part on placings hitherto reserved either for fund managers or for bucket shops. The platform has now really come of age with news of a £3 million fund raise for Ascent Resources (AST), a stock I quite like. If you are not signed up you are MAD so do so here.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: RIP Maurice Byrne, this is dedicated to you my friend

I start with a dedication to Maurice Byrne, a friend of my family for more than 40 years, a true eccentric and a bearcast listener who sadly passed away on Thursday. I will miss him, not least as a bulwark against the raging political correctness of my family. Then I turn to Cloudtag (CTAG) and African Potash (AFPO) two companies now exposed as having lied to investors in a material way just days before placings. What does this say about investing in frauds? What does it mean for the shares and what does it mean for AIM? as the Potash story now starts to head towards the Nationals (oh yes St Brides PR brace yourselves, you can smear me but will you continue in that vein?) what happens next in both cases? Maurice would have enjoyed these battles in so many ways.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 9 March: Bell, D&D, PR Fuckwits at FTI & Glenwick Rampers talk balls

I warn you that there is a lot of bad language in this podcast. I start with the balls talked by D&D on Fastjet (FJET). I have put the company on the spot as to what $20 million cash available means and I await a response. It matters big time. Then there is Andrew Bell talking balls on Horse Hill ahead of placings ahoy across the board. Then those who denied placings at Pantheon (PANR) and the posh fuckwits who spin for Scancell (SCLP). Both denied my stories. Both placed today. Folks: you know where to send your ouzo apologies. I discuss those placings and also that of Armadale (ACP) - a pisser as we own those shares. Then I discuss dire results from Glenwick (GWIK), shares in which deserve to halve and which were ramped by the same sort of mothers who ramped CEB/Andalas. The result will be the same. And also a horrid profits warnig from Tandem Group (TND) comes under the spotlight. I also mention my articles today on greedy Junior Doctors ad the BBC's woeful Trump coverage HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 3 March - Off to Hospital & the Horse Hill smells

A day truncated by medical appointments sees me start the podcast with Grantchester and the Mighty Hammers - the article I mention on the latter is HERE. Then it is onto the disgrace at 3Legs (3LEG) for which there can be no excuse and where there is more to come. Then onto Horse Hill, a funny smell and the THREE placings on the way. I look at African Potash (AFPO), LGO Energy (TOAST) and the total farce at Petroceltic (PCI  - bad language alert in that section.

Now you can co invest with institutions in ShoreCap, FinnCap, Arden placings - why not?

Now this is starting to get interesting. PrimaryBid which we have backed since its launch has now got three decent AIM brokers as investors and as of now when they do placings for clients, PerimaryBid customers will be able to participate. This means getting into GOOD placings from half decent brokers acting for decent companies and this is revolutionary. I am already signed up as a client, if you are not sign up - its free - now HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 24 January: Himex this is jail for Rob Terry & bad news for Watchstone + crap AIM investment companies

I am sorry for the delayed podcast but I am only just back from time in the Grim Northern welfare safari with the mother in law and thus can now let myself go with a volley of bad language.  I end with an explanation of who benefitted from the £150 million + Himex fraud at Quindell (QPP) laid bare earlier HERE and how it also affects Watchstone (WTG). Before that I talk of my annoyance on the silly blogger spats and the explain the difference between a cash shell and an investment company and why I regard our work on exposing the latter as invaluable. In the middle segment I have more bad news for oil companies such as XCite (XEL), IGAS (IGAS), Petroceltic (PCI) & Gulf Keystone (GKP) and for the sector as a whole but also for the markets. Dont blame China, we bears are still in the driving seat.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 20 June - smears & signing autographs

Recorded at 1 AM to work around the travel plans of pizza hardman Darren Atwater I am shattered after a shift as a waiter, cook, dishwasher and host at Free Speech & Liberty Pizza. I more shift today and then back to sabbatical. But I explain why I was autographing table cards here for Americans late last night. It all tuies in with what this website is trying to do but what crony capitalists are trying to stop us doing - I reveal the latest smears against me from those who resent us breaking news of certain placings. I also say why we break that news. Then I move onto Afren

Tom Winnifrith BearCast - 16 May

Oddly I had quite a lot to say in this podcast. I start on a personal note, feeling a confidence breached. I then move onto the buggers muddle at New World Oil & Gas (NEW) - really the shares must be suspended now until Wednesday. Then onto Insetco (INC) and lessons learned from a debacle we warned about and which the Deputy Sheriff of AIM covers again HERE. Finally onto the "Gary Newman rule" - his suggestion of locking in those taking part in AIM placings. I sympathise but I warn that it would kill off 400 companies on the casino. Beware of what you ask for.

Spin & bullying – sure signs of a placing on the way

As private investors we have come to loathe private placings. If the shares are 10p before City fund managers are made insiders they are 8p by the time a placing is completed as somehow word seeps out. about any AIM listed stock. Odd that. And so the placing is done at a 20% discount to 8p and a stock which you were paying a share price of 10.25p a week ago is suddenly being offered to institutions only at 6.4p. It is not as if the fund managers are any more likely to be long terms holders than you are. They will spiv the shares out at 8p given half the chance and so boast of a 25% return in 2 weeks.
