Van Elle Holdings (VANL) shares were recommended in 2024 at a 37p offer price and up to 40p targeting a recovery to 50p+ and we most recently wrote on them this January, concluding that the valuation looked to include very little for recovery potential and, for the patient, that a return to a 50p+ share price was quite possible. H&T Group – recommended bid means a now 62.5% less than one year offer to bid price profit

We recommended shares in the UK’s largest pawnbroking and jewellery and watches retailing group H&T (HAT) again at a 395p offer price just under a year ago, considering that they then again appealed on a valuation and income basis. We most recently reiterated that view in March this year with the shares then still below 400p… and now a recommended offer at 650p per share from Nasdaq-listed FirstCash. So with the shares now at 642p to sell, what to do?

Amara Mining - merger with Perseus, hold at worst....
