I see no reason why I should ever take any lecture on morality from Tory MP Bernard Jenkin, a man ordered to repay back £63,250 of expenses claimed for renting a second home from his sister in law. But today on BBC Radio 4 he was lecturing us all about how Russia has no right to celebrate Victory Day today 9th May.

Liberal US chat show host Bill Maher serves up some utter gems from time to time. Because he is essentially of the left he can challenge the new left in a way that many of us cannot without risking a new media driven firestorm and calls for mo platforming and career destruction. #Rhodesmustfall is a crackpot PC campaign to remove a statue of Cecil Rhodes from the walls of Oriel college Oxford. The weedy liberal acedemic establishment is caving and Rhodes will fall. And worse still it is rewriting history as to what actually happened in the era of British Colonialism.
