The first cousin of the Home secretary, the serial fraudster Chris, has a history of UK stockmarket fraud, exposed by this website, but his company Tingo (US:TIO) is a Nasdaq listed con which was once a multi billion dollar scam. Today the regulators at the SEC have moved into suspend trading in the shares and the associated document, below, is damning. It will be ouzo tonight for me as I first flagged up this scam in September 2022, for the Cleverly family its not such a good day.

Having ‘fessed after hours on Friday that the supposed 14p per share, £167 million, bid was a total scam, Upland Resources (UPL) has tried to reassure investors with another statement today. I am afraid it simply does not wash and when the company runs out of money early next year, the FCA, will – as explained here – block its attempts to raise fresh funds via a prospectus and I expect it to go bust.

I was on a road trip yesterday so only noticed the after hours ‘fess up late in the evening. Upland’s shares will be destroyed, it is a complete vindication of my coverage and some folks should be going to jail if the FCA, regulator of the Standard List, launches a criminal enquiry as it must do. Upland Resources (UPL) management are – at best – guilty of criminal naivete and negligence, To show that they are not part of a criminal conspiracy, perhaps involving the tweet below, they should be demanding an FCA enquiry – I hope you followed my short advice as these shares will, as I predicted, collapse like a failed souffle on Monday.

Equities First holdings offers a service where CEOs of companies where the CEO knows the stock is going to tank, pledge shares to EFH in return for a loan at c65% of the value of the shares. We exposed this scam back in 2019 when EFH first open up shop in Britain. EFH ALWAYS dumps the shares on day one so locking in a neat 50% profit and when the shares tank the directors are faced with a margin call and default.

Yes I fell for this scam sponsiored by the British and French Governments ands I mention this in the context of folks getting, wrongly, excited by news today from Novacyt (NCYT). Make no mistake: the covid testing bubble is over. I discuss Fevertree (FEVR) where I predict two more profits warnings – stay short. And then on the vicious attack on Richard Jennings by Ironveld (IRON). Jennings is a litigious fellow so may well be talking to his lawyer. I wouldn’t bother myself but cant think that Ironveld’s board is doing itself any favours with such antics.

Appbox Media is the sister company of One True View and has stolen around £15 million of investors money with the FCA standing idly by ignoring this massive boiler room scam in the heart of the City. But while One True View is reinventing itself to steal more cash as revealed yesterday HERE, Appbox has filed for insolvency. But patsy director Amanda Hussey, the rather simple “fall guy” for the mastermind of this £50 million bezzle Polat Hassan, has now told a £5.4 million lie under oath. She urgently needs to get legal advice before Polat lands her in even more trouble than she is already in.

Those behind One True View and its sister company, Appbox Media, have, via a City-based boiler room at 78 Cannon Street, where high-pressure salesmen earn vast commissions, raised c. £65 million – most of which has been stolen. The FCA insists there are no boiler rooms in the UK, so has done nothing. Thus, the farce has now entered a new chapter.

I now fear that more than £50 million has been raised from mug punters by high pressure salesmen and it is clear from recent statements that they will lose the lot. The FCA is, almost two years after I first warned it, still doing nothing about the Appbox Media/One True View Boiler Room scam which has seen £35 million or more taken from private investors. Now I have yet more evidence of what a monumental fraud this is. But with the FCA seemingly not giving a toss, investors appear to be taking matters into their own hands.

Boy how the Bulletin Board Morons were creaming themselves this morning on this news. Shares in the Supply@ME Capital (SYME) scam surged to 0.75p although, as I write, they are back at 0.625p. They are still top of the leader board and 30% ahead on the day and this has happened on the basis of an announcement that is just shear fantasy.

On February 4 2018, I asked if Murray d’Almeida of Management Resource Solutions (MRS) would care to explain his links to an outfit called Halcyon as you can see HERE. Natch the FCA and AIM Regulation, the Chocolate Teapots and the Oxymorons, did nothing about this or numerous other matters we raised. Now Management Resource is no more but might the authorities care to reconsider looking at those responsible for its collapse, those who made money from it before the collapse, notably D’Almeida’s business partner, and those City advisors who enabled the sh*t show to run and run by turning a blind eye, or - in the case of legal tosser Peter Reynolds of Fladgate in threatening a journalist who exposed this scam (viz me) – I ask in light of the article below from the Australian press.

A leading broker has received a fascist lawyers letter from Shard Capital for describing the IPO of Ferro-Alloy Resources (FAR) at 70p on 28 March as a “scam.” He was a tad harsh in that description but with the shares having tanked to 31.5p already and still a screaming short, it does not smell good..So here is what stinks.

I travel Easyjet (EZY) often. In the winter it is Bristol to Athens and back, in the summer it is Gatwick to Kalamata and back. Usually it is no worse and no better than any other budget airline. Not that I really care but I just want to point out a quite obvious scam it inflicts on its passengers.

Spoofing is what Avanti Communications (AVN), Challenger Acquisitions (CHAL) and Rosslyn Data (RDT) do as did Proteus, a scam I exposed back in the naughty nineties. Pacific Tycoon spent a fortune promoting its ponzi scheme promising sky high returns on investing in shipping freight containers in Asia. Being a ponzi it needed fresh suckers to pay dividends to older investors and to allow those behind this con to steal vast amounts of money. We called this as a con years ago and received demands from Pacific that we withdraw our articles on these criminals. Natch we told Pacific to fuck off.
