The only poll is for the North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner. I have no idea who the (Labour) incumbent is but I know that the Police are beyond useless. When a man hired by an investor in a fraud I was exposing threatened to get me, said he was an ex Israeli army soldier and was just a couple of miles away, the Police refused to act to protect me and my family. When Julie Meyer, wanted by the High Court with an arrest warrant, said my articles exposing her crimes were harassment, the Filth came to interview me. But if I do 23 MPH I know I will be clocked and punished. So, to say that I hold North Wales Police in utter contempt would be an understatement.

At least Cowie, one of Britain’s most senior personal finance journalists, is honest that he is a poltroon, admitting to buying shares in Versarien (VRS) at 177p. They closed Friday at just 3.5p although in his column today where he explains why he is hanging on for a bounce, Cowie says the shares are 5p. But the dishonesty of the journalism is epic.

Once a week the investment hookers at Proactive pen a small cap column for the Mail on Sunday. This week’s effort is flagged up below. Nowhere on the column is there any disclaimer to admit that Proactive is paid by companies to publish research. So, readers of the tabloid will assume that this is just good honest impartial journalism. Of course it is anything but. Take this week’s effort below…

And they are off… the first Democrat to throw their hat into the ring as a potential Presidential candidate for 2020 is Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. As an out and proud deplorable I can think of few, bar crooked Hillary herself who is – quite amazingly - considering a run herself, I’d rather see the Dems select. The Tories, it seems, are concerned that more men than women start their own businesses and so it is “launching a campaign to remove barriers”.

Perhaps it is the impending revelation that people like Emily Maitlis and Luara Kuenssberg (the political reporter who does not understand the difference between Government debt and deficit) are paid telephone numbers salaries that is prompting BBC News to lie about getting scoops. Or perhaps it is just shame that with its enormous overhead it is scooped again and again. Or maybe it is just an innate culture of dishonesty? Whatever the reason with Emily in the hotseat Newsnight was a visible disgrace last night as news emerged that Hinkley Point was to get the go ahead.
