Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: All hail Pete Brailey as other bears wake up to his Pantheon genius

I start with Muddy Waters, Pete and Pantheon Resources (PANR). Then on to ouzo man and his bear calls on Boohoo.com (BOO) and AO World (AO). Finally onto the blow up of FTX and Almeda Research and what that tell us about crypto and NFT hype which is now bursting.

Novacyt – receives £134.6 million claim from Government – this is all to do with the bonus of ex CEO Graham Mullis and stinks.

As folks guzzled on the covid testing hype one man grew very rich. Graham Mullis was CEO of Novacyt (NCYT), a nothing biotech perennial dog which just happened to have a test. Mullis was to be awarded a cash bonus, the size of which was dependent on the share price on October 17 2020.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I stand corrected, the CEO was not in the bath & killers gorge, political correctness gone mad

After the Slater & Gordon (SGH) bearcast earlier you may have thought that I was sleeping off half a bottle of ouzo. Au contraire, I have been touring the Mani with George the Architect, the man who helped me to expose InternetQ last year. We went past Killers Gorge. Why can't you kill unsuitable boyfriends of your daughter or sister any more? As my daughter prepares to turn 16 this year I sadly conclude that this is yet another example of political correctness gone mad.  In terms of stocks I offer a couple of corrections on Tracsis (TRCS) after yesterday's bearcast then look at Xtract Resources (XTR), Ascent Resources (AST), FastForward (FFWD), the over ramped hype company with which my good friend Jim Mellon is involved, Cobham (COB), Infrastructure India (IIP) and also the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG). And I refer to a drooling Evil Knievil ref THIS ARTICLE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: possibly the biggest scandal in AIM history to go nuclear this week?

Weekend press reports (not in the UK natch as the British press is ignoring this £2 billion City scandal for reasons one can only imagine) suggest that the FBI is now investigating. Already in France there have been arrests including that of the CEO of Areva - Atomic Anne - which bought AIM & TSX listed Uramin for £2 billion and had written all of its assets off as worthless within three years. There is also a major new investigative book out on the scandal due out on Thursday. I am sure my good friend Jim Mellon will be ordering an advance copy. Elsewhere I look at Vislink (VLK), at the train wreck waiting to happen at Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), at Fitbug (FITB) and Cloudtag (CTAG) and then finally at SalvarX (SALV) - placing ahoy on this related party express train to planet hype.

Tom Winnifrith Postcard: 8 years of Obama: Hype not hope

The liberal media is eulogising President Hopey Change as he prepares to leave office. President Obama is still talking about Hope. But the reality is that it has been eight years of hype not hope and it is the poor and the blacks who have suffered most under this failure of a President. I review the facts the liberal media establishment opt to ignore, and consider the real legacy of Obama in this podcast.

The Great Waseem on the "Seven Steps" of Cloudtag pump & hype

Yesterday I tried to explain the psychology of AIM fraud and fraudsters with reference to both African Potash (AFPO) and Cloudtag (CTAG). The great bear raider Waseem Shakoor also published a note explaining the seven steps of Cloudtag hype to facilitate is main business of share issuance. As you'd expect it is a cracking read. Over to the great Waseem

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Please God let those emails arrive so I can ruin someone's weekend

I have had some emails read out to me and they are dynamite. I hope they will land in my in-box soon. I shall pop into the small church on the way to the Greek Hovel tonight to say a prayer for their safe arrival as if they arrive some folks are in deep deep merde and it will certainly be an ouzo o'clock moment.  Please join me in my prayers. Elsewhere I look at Boohoo.com (BOO), Avanti Communications (AVN), Cloudtag (CTAG), Mosman Oil & Gas (SHITE), African Potash (FRAUD), 88 Energy (HYPE) and with that I wish you all a happy weekend.

The lapse of the Kiliwani option tells you Solo is right out of cash - placing ahoy!

Earlier this week Solo Oil (SOLO) announced quite startling news - that it was to lapse an option to buy an additional 1.25% stake in the Kiliwani gas field a deal first announced back in February of this year. This leaves Solo's stake at 7.125% but begs very serious questions of Neil Ritson's floundering company. Is bankruptcy looming and is Kiliwani not living up to the hype?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast special - the David Lenigas brand badly tarnished could LGO be a zero?

You cannot say I did not warn you about LGO Energy (LGO). After today's news I ask if it could go to zero? The answer is yes and the shares are a stonking sell still. But the wider David Lenigas brand is also badly tarnished. I will have another dynamite revelation on Lenigas Cuba (CUBA) shortly, Afriag (AFRI) needs a placing big time and the Horse Hill hype is being shown to be just that so UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) has real issues. It is not a happy Monday for Big Dave.

Toumaz – Crazy Valuation & the REAL Metrics are dire

Toumaz (TMZ) has all the markings of the sort of stock that should be in the Bulletin Board Moron nightmare portfolio as explained HERE earlier and, indeed, it seems to have a diehard band of BB Moron enthusiasts. Results today are dismal and the cash is running out. Yet at just under 6p the valuation is £95 million. Crackers.

To be fair the company’s product, sticking plasters which wirelessly monitor patients vital signs, for use in hospitals, looks interesting but when a company says in its statement “The Group is assessing a number of concepts and opportunities in the "Internet of Things"” I really see that as a red flag in the jargon hype department. And then to the numbers.

Today Toumaz reported on the six months to June 30 2014. So here are the last three half year periods sequentially.
