Photo Article - Welsh vertigo on Boxing Day

A brief walk was planned with my kids and the Mrs and her sister, brother in law and 17 year old niece before they headed back to South Eastern England. The destination, the Telford built aqueduct that takes the Llangollen Canal over the River Dee.

Jaya was on my back but when we reached the Aqueduct I looked ahead into the fog then looked down and just could not go on for I suffer from appalling vertigo.  So I took a few shots from the top. Look hard and you can see the Dee raging at the bottom. Jaya and I climbed a bit of the way down the vallley but that was not that much fun so we headed back to the top and taught ourselves a new word in Welsh “hwyaden” of which there were quite a few.
