I am pretty sure I am not. In fact, although this household is very, very, mixed race ( white identifying as Northern Irish married to Asian origin identifying as English with kids mixed race identifying as Welsh) 98% of folks here in Wrexham are white. And although you would find it hard to believe given the media coverage and our Government’s determination to spend as much as it can to make Wales “the most LGBTQ friendly country in Wales” the census suggests that almost 98% of us are in fact heterosexual. In Cardiff it is only 95% so the proportion up here in North Wales must be even higher. But…
As this card for the Welsh version of St Valentines day ( Happy St Dywnwen’s Day – January 25th) shows, this land really is dominated by armies of mixed race lesbian couples. Strangely I don’t see any here so I guess they must all be in South Wales?
