By illegal immigrant I mean a cat which is not one of our cats entering our land, not one of the doctors, dentists, women and children landing at Dover today seeking asylum from war torn France.
There are a number of cats living close to the Welsh Hovel who tend to intrude. Nasty grey cat, belonging to the grandfather of one of my daughter’s best chums, hospitalised my Quincey a few years ago with a horrible bite. Then there is the black and white cat below belonging to neighbour B.
It needs to hop a fence and traverse a couple of our fields to get to our back garden but it did that today only to be met by my black cat Quincey, aka the Oaf. They stared at each other for a while and there was some growling. And then Quiney leapt forward and B’s cat fled.
Quincey the heroic guard cat won the day.
