Today marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11 when Islamic jihadists from Al Qaeda hijacked planes and flew them into the twin towers in New York killing almost 3,000 people. It was an attack carried out by Muslims driven by their faith.
That is not to say that all Muslims are terrorists. Clearly the vast majority are not. But the vast majority of terrorists committing this sort of act are Muslims and almost all of those who celebrated that day, such as those in Gaza who took to the streets to party, were Muslims. So what does the loathsome Jeremy Corbyn say on this matter. His tweet is below and I highlight one phrase in bold.

We remember all those whose lives were lost and shattered that day. And we honour the bravery of first responders, many of whom are still battling illnesses and campaigning for their right to healthcare.
What followed was a catastrophic ‘War on Terror’, which killed many hundreds of thousands of people, left many more in desperate poverty, fuelled a wave of Islamophobia, and triggered an endless spiral of conflict, hatred and misery.
The US led, and Britain supinely followed. The world is still living with the consequences of this disastrous decision, yet there is still no accountability for the death and destruction it left behind.
Today, we must learn the lessons of history. That means recognising that war is not the answer, ending the horrors of occupation, and striving to build a world of peace and harmony for all.
That there is a fear of Moslems is a terrible thing but surely even a feeble minded old loser like Corbyn must appreciate why that fear exists? And it is not down to the invasion of Afghanistan.

Tony Blair and George Bush maybe, okay are, frightful human beings but they did not pilot the planes on 9/11, bomb the Ariana Grande concert or shoot up the Bataclan, they did not slaughter the staff at Charlie Hebdo or carry out the 7/7 bombings in London. They did not blow up a plane over Lockerbie. They did not rape, murder and sodomise folks on October 7 in the name of their God. They do not cite their God to justify the genocide of the Yazidis, the Druze or the Christians in Nigeria.
