The clearing of the ditches around the fields is almost complete and the wood from that exercise has now started to be brought back to the farmyard to be chopped up later. What you see below is only half of it, more will be dragged in later this week and next.
I know it will take eons to chop but I am in no hurry. What is chopped will go into the drying barn to go on the wood burning stove in 2028. What is in the drying barn now, largely the pear tree that fell down, is now dry and being moved into the woodshed.
My son and I are genuinely excited by all of this. The Mrs says “whatever”. Does anyone understand women?
