Warwick School Historic Sexual abuse, yet another victim gets in touch

Tomorrow the trial of paedophile teacher Paul Stainsby finally gets underway at Warwick Crown Court and I shall bring you news as I get it. But meanwhile yet another victim of paedophile music teacher Charles Watmough has been in touch.

You will remember that the mother of one victim actually complained to Warwick School at the time but Watmough’s head of department and fellow nonce Dave Nicholls got him off the hook. Watmough eventually left Warwick with glowing references to give private piano lessons in his Scarborough home. Nicholls then retired to Scarborough. Lucky Scarborough.

Watmough was interviewed under caution by the Police in 2019 but there was only 1 victim at that point and the Police did nowt. Since then I have put another four victims who have contacted me in touch with the Warwickshire Old Bill and now that will be five. I hope that one day the Police will ger serious.

Meanwhile, I have again urged Warwick to get ready to act when the Stainsby case ends. It must contact all OWs but also place adverts in the regional media and I hope reach out to the regional TV and radio stations saying that it accepts it had a material problem, not just one bad apple, that it is truly sorry and encouraging other victims of any of the many paedophile teachers it employed to come forward.

The victims who have contacted me are, I fear, just the tip of the iceberg.
