:My heart is full of joy that the Israeli hostages may be freed. If we do have peace in Gaza it is despite the blundering and cowardice of Macron, Starmer et al and thanks to Donald Trump. I discuss all of this and also what is happening in Ukraine where, not that the Western press report this, Russia is on a roll. Again, Starmer and European leaders only prolong the slaughter they are not changing an inevitable outcome.

I started boycotting the Co-Op on May 18. I had used it almost every day as it is the only general store in the village in which I live. But I have not darkened its doors once since it signed up to the BDS agenda and stopped selling any Israeli goods, saving money by doing bulk shopping at Tesco in Wrexham instead. Those pushing BDS did not start their campaign the day Israel responded to the October 7 pogrom, they have been pushing it for years, they have always wanted to destroy the only Jewish state.

More than eight years ago I discussed trying to enlighten my father and his wife on the evils of Amnesty International. To his credit, Dad saw the light and before he died canceled his monthly donation. But the organization goes from bad to worse and has now hit a new low with its eulogy for Walid Daqqah who it describes as a “writer” and as a “reminder of Israel’s cruel disregard for Palestinians’ right to life” in the tweet below. It cannot be serious. But it is.

I reported the account @Middlesexkid to twitter/ X this afternoon and, within minutes, received an acknowledgement that it was reviewing my suggestion that it contained hateful content relating to a particular group, that is to say Jews, at 2.14 PM. At 2.16 PM I was told that “After reviewing the available information, we determined that there were no violations of the Twitter rules in the content you reported. We appreciate your help, and encourage you to reach out again in the future if you see any potential violations.”

Just as the clocks chimed 13 the Israeli ambassador to London, Tzipi Hotolevy, pulled up at the London School of Economics to give a speech. A rabble of students waving Palestinian flags greeted her. Abuse was hurled at her in volleys like the volleys of rockets fired from others who wave the Palestinian flag in Gaza, targetting not military targets but just trying to kill Jews. Any Jews will do. But for those indoctrinated in one of the Marxist Madrassas that we used to call Universities here in Britain there is only one side in the Middle East that commits evil, that causes global warming, and whose spokesman must be silenced because free speech does not apply to them. Tzipi gave her speech but thanks to the JC, watch the video below as she left and be ashamed of what our country has become.
