That is the claim, as you can see below, from Tortoise which claims to be “the UK’s youngest, fastest growing newsroom.” As you might have guessed, it is sort of left leaning and whatever it claims about integrity today, it talks utter victimhood piffle on Covid.

I was pruning my first olive tree of the day and heard a noise behind me. Fearing the worst I turned and it was a tortoise which just sat there blinking at me. It was a special moment. That tortoise is smarter than idiots buying Circle Oil (COP) shares today. FFS how thick some folks are. Then I move onto Nature Group (NGR), Boxhill (BOX), Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR), Gable (GAH) and Wishbone (WSBN). Then a section on a PR man telling me what I should or should not be writing about Watchstone (WTG) The fecking cheeky bastard should stick to being an evil spinmeister and leave journalism to the professionals. Maybe PRs dont want us writing about an admission of £100 million fraud on AIM and would rather we just eprinted their lies/press releases? It is just not the way I work!

I was standing on the horrible concrete balcony which I look forward to demolishing. But it has wonderful views out over the valley and something caught my eye - movement in the long grass by the prickly pear plants. I looked more closely and it was moving really quite fast seeking sanctuary in the big bowl where we collect water. Yes it was a tortoise. They roam wild here in Greece but are rather shy so by the time I had got down there with my camera it had scuttled into a hole. I am beginning to feel a bit like Gerald Durrell.
