3 house owning Polly Toynbee, the biggest hypocrite on the loathsome Guardian, rides again

This morning Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee is in full hypocrite mode warp factor 11. It is not that La Toynbee (Badminton School & Oxford) rails against public schools or privilege. Nor that the offspring of a well known and affluent family rails against inherited wealth. Nor on £300,000 a year paid for by a paper that uses offshore trusts to dodge tax, is she ranting against inequality or tax evasion. Polly has done even better that in her attempt to retain the title of hypocrite of the year for the 24th year running.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 13 December - From a pain in the back to David Lenigas

I start with back news, not good but at least I have a handy tip for dodging passport control. Then it is onto the son of the late Brian Schneider of OEM infamy. He wants you and I to pay far more tax from our legitimate earnings though he has lived a privileged life - and still does - thanks to the proceeds of crime. He is a leading Jeremy Corbyn organiser. Right on Comrades. I look at Petropavlovsk (POG) and the idea of buying shares for the bid.  I move onto a new biotech IPO, Levrett. I explain why its a bargepole but also how the coverage of this in the Mail on Sunday (Simon Watkins) shows again the corrupt nexus between certain financial journalists and the PR world with an aim to dupe you, the investor. Then it is onto Jabba The Hutt's Afriag (AFRI) where I follow on from today's bombshell HERE and the follow up HERE by explaining the real problem it - and AIM - now faces.

Weekly Caption Contest: Overpaid, generous pension, long holidays what do we want…MORE! Edition

For once the Mrs was not on strike with the rest of the public sector last week. The University Lecturers have already staged several walk outs this year and why on earth would they interrupt a three month break in the sun to turn up for a protest. But the rest of the comrades walked out. Did you notice the Country crumbling?

Public sector workers now earn more on average than those in the private sector. It is almost impossible for them to get fired – job security is 100%. They get guaranteed final salary pensions. They get more holiday – and throw more sickies than those in the private sector and what do they want? More!

They are an innumerate bunch.
