If it was not ouzo o'clock at the Sheriff's Greek bolt-hole after the Servision (SEV) debacle it sure is now after UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) fessed up to disastrous news from Broadford Bridge. My mother killed herself in 1976. I did not write about the incident until a couple of years ago when her brother, Christopher Booker, wrote about it in the Daily Mail so pushing me to publish my thoughts. I have photos of mum at home on the wall and there is one of her holding me as a baby. But I'd lie if I said that I thought about her every day or even an awful lot.

Sometimes I wonder if certain AIM Casino listed companies think that we are all stupid. Maybe I am being harsh, after chatting to the morons who populate certain Bulletin Boards, one can understand how a company might leap to that conclusion. In reflective mood on election day I cover just a few companies. Falanx (FLX) where we backed the placing and the shares have tanked! They still don’t get it. The FRC has thanked me for exposing fraud at Quindell (QPP) and the former board are being investigated by the SFO as well (it can thank me later for the assistance I have provided). Yet according to some Quindell shareholders on the LSE Asylum I am the guilty party, the devil incarnate. And boy were they looking forward to my day in the High Court today…don’t tell the morons it is off as at least one admits to going along last time to cheer on my then opponent Aiden Earley. I would not want to stop a moron from wasting a morning.
