Veltyco – CEO “resigns” J’accuse

A bad day for diversity as AIM loses a female CEO in the form of Melissa Blau at Veltyco (VLTY). No doubt our wretched Prime Minister Theresa may will be cross about this but folks who care about weeding out failures and rewarding talent rather than daft quotas will not be crying. The question is whether Veltyco’s statement is true or not. Methinks it is not.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 26 March: No Easter Eggs for Paul Scott, No Quotas for Women on Boards

I shall leave Paul Scott to battle with Malcolm Stacey about the existence of God. But I hope that Paul as a non believer shows no hypocrisy by devouring any Easter Eggs. Now it is my turn to bash Malcolm over his daft views on women on boards. He is wrong, my wife and the public sector "experts" are wrong. The grim reaper will achieve what quotas will fail to do and will make Britain wealthier in the process.

I bet you £100 no-one promoting IWD 2016 will honour this illegal immigrant uber-achiever on International Women's Day

What is there that the mad lefties who run the Guardian, the BBC, Channel 4 News and all the State supported quangos celebrating IWD 2016, could not see in a woman who was an illegal immigrant ( overstaying a visitor's visa), an ethnic minority (Jewish), an atheist and whose writings are so influential that she is seen as the driving force of a major school of thought?

Surely on International Women's Day we should be holding a woman - whose family were persecuted when she was just 12, losing their homes and facing starvation - and who herself was booted out of University for not adhering to the line of an oppressive regime, up as a role model for our daughters? This woman achieved so much despite all the odds being stacked against her.

So as we celebrate Great Women today why won't the lefties tell our daughters about Ayn Rand?

Er..

Boardroom quotas for women: the EU gets it wrong again

EU commissioners will this week debate proposals that would force quotas for women on corporate boards. The “Justice Commissioner” of the Evil Empire Viviane Reding (an ugly old trout with zero business experience hailing from that hotbed of tax evasion Luxembourg) wants to make it mandatory for companies to reserve 40% of seats for women. Assuming that this bunch of losers agree to the plan (they will) then another bunch of losers (the MEPs) will then push this law forward across all member states. Where do you start on this insanity?
