Who are the heroic allies of the LGBTQ struggle to research? Leo Abse who got homosexuality legalised and fought so often for gay rights? David Cameron who forced through gay marriage? Nope it is David Beckham or Miley Cyrus. It goes on and on and on. Is this really what you want on the mainstream curriculum for 10 year olds. Surely, with falling literacy and numeracy standards all too evident among young folks with their satchels full of A**s, there are more critical matters to teach?
