Okay, not entirely homegrown. But a triumph, not least in that Joshua – a picky eater – decided he now loves marrow (aka. a very big courgette, cooked like a marrow, with minced meat and cheese). Then…


For the first time in the three years since I planted cherry trees, one sour tree has produced enough to make a crumble. Topped off with homemade elderflower ice cream, this won rave reviews all-round.
